I live in the far north and have never been to the South. I listen to Dr. Charles Stanley on the internet or radio and feel deeply grateful to him. He knows. Thank you so much.

Sweet and kind people. Service is great. You'll feel even closer and greatly connected.

I always watch Dr. Charles Stanley's sermons. I love such sermons which are filled with the wisdom and truth of God's Word. I will always remember his slogan which goes like "obey God and leave all the consequences to Him".

We stopped in while traveling through Atlanta, staff very friendly. We were given a tour and all our questions answered. Highly recommend. Was a great experience.

The church is always freezing!!! Why is it so cold??? I can't concentrate on the sermon because I an so cold and I end up leaving. I stayed away for a few months and went to bible study tonight, July 31st to find it still freezing!

I also found it interesting that the minister speaking never mentioned any of the many white men and women who have killed and caused mass destruction in America but pointed out several non Americans. Hhhmmm

Dr. Stanley is a legendary spiritual leader and has created the best church I have ever attended. I love FBA!

Considering that the Pastor is an 85 year old former President of the SBC you might have preconceived ideas about FBA. However, this has to be one of the warmest most diverse Churches in all of Atlanta. The music is a nice mix of contemporary and traditional while the preaching is Biblically based and entertaining. There are services on Sunday and Wednesday with special activities and ministries for everyone regardless of where you are on life's journey. Oh and if Dr. Stanley is taking a much deserved break don't worry Dr. George is awesome in his own right. As a matter of fact check-out Dr. George on Wednesday for some great mid-week encouragement.

Normally I would give a 5 star rating. However Dr. Stanley wasn't delivering the sermon on Sunday, Nov. 3rd, 2019. Dr. Stanley never makes any mention or implication of politics. The guest pastor, of which has delivered the Sunday sermon, a few times; has always made mention of politics and has made subtle remarks about where he stands. I don't go to church to hear anyone's political agenda. It shouldn't happen, period.

I heard Dr. Anthony George preach this morning while Dr. Stanley was out, and he is very good also.

Met Dr Charles Stanley, heard a wonderful sermon on kindness and loved the visit. Greeted by a sweet hostess who got us up front seats and made us feel more than welcome.

As an Eastern Kentucky native who was raised in a little country church, I was overwhelmed walking into such a large building; however, all that washed away when Dr. Stanley began his sermon. Even though the auditorium would seat hundred upon hundreds of people, the atmosphere was very intimate and comfortable. The staff was approachable and friendly. If you are ever in the area, go to First Baptist in Atlanta. You will not regret it.

I have listened to Charles Stanley for many years. He is truly a great man of God that I have learned so much from. I have grown in my relationship with the Lord through his teachings.

Nice picked up book for online Bible study for this week's study. You do have to get out to ring the buzzer to get what you came there for. But I did not have to get out of the car to get the book security brought it right out.

Kind of a mixed experience so far. Last Tuesday, I saw on their website a Wed morning fitness class 'sponsored' by their older adults group plus a 30 min fellowship every 1st Wed before that class. I'd never been to the church and wanted to get a feel for the members there and how they treat others. I intended to visit for the Wednesday night sermon, but had some free time that morning so was interested. I drove up there Wednesday morning just to learn it is exclusive to people age 55+ which is not stated anywhere on the website and I am 10 years shy of the age restriction. I respected their exclusion, but very disappointed. The ladies were very kind, but kindness doesn't remedy misleading information on a website. It's also not the 1st time they've experienced someone interested but excluded due to age. Really unfortunate.

Evening church was very good. Dr. George was great. Very informative, funny, educational and on point with today's current issues. Sunday class was also very educational and enlightening. The people I met from Sunday morning service were very kind, welcoming and helpful. I will return despite my initial unfortunate experience. I do hope the website is updated to reflect their exclusions so people do not waste their time in the future.

What an amazing service! You could feel the Holy Spirit hovering over the whole congregation. Dr. Stanley's sermon was powerful and very moving. There were tears shed by many who attended. I have watched Charles Stanley for many years on television and followed him online, but hearing him and seeing him live today was one of the greatest experiences in my Christian walk. I believe I have found my new home at First Baptist Church Atlanta.

I have never been. My wife and I watch every Sunday morning. We absolutely love that Man. He preaches the word ! ! And I might add ( and that is ) I attended for 25 years, Landmark Baptist Temple in Cincinnati Ohio.

Dr. Stanley is truly anointed by God. I watch the sermons on TV, and he speaks nothing but the word of God. He talks in a way that anyone can understand. He has been such a blessing.

I need to hear these hymns, they BLESS my SOUL!!! This music is what brings Glory to the Lord, because it sings about the scriptures.
It presents to people, the Blessings from the Lord, Also convicts people of their sinful choices. I will be listening to ONLY this music that brings GLORY TO MY HEAVENLY FATHER.

This Bible believing Bible teaching church is the great choice for new and old believers to call home. Also one of the best places for anyone seeking to hear and learn the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I love it at FBA. It is a place where you can witness the love of God and see Truth in action. May God continue to bless the First Baptist Church of Atlanta, Pastor Charles Stanley, it's staff of pastors, the many other church servant leaders, members and visitors.

I absolutely can not believe what I am listening to. I often wonder where the ignorance in America comes from; how people feed in to the nonsense that this country is perpetuating currently. Well, I found it. This is hate speech parading as gospel. My grandparents were missionaries in Nigeria for 25 years, and they taught me to love unconditionally, respect everyone despite their differences, and that God was the one and judge. All of those things and many more morals. You should all be ashamed of yourselves, preaching hate under the farce that that's how Jesus behaved or felt. God is love. Jesus is understanding. You are the people that give Christianity an unapproachable, hurtful name. My grandparents showed me the true power of Christ. Thank God. If the only example that I experienced was your garbage, I would be lost. I will pray for you, for I am rich, and you are poor. You preach in fear, and I live in love and kindness.

The church may be huge which may scare some people, but the feeling of a small church with a close friends with relationships. The church is amazing place of worship

Amazing teaching and very biblical. Only the truth. I love listening to Dr. George Anthony. He does truly speak the Holy Spirit, and also very passionate about ensuring his preaching is understood by the audience The Wednesday bible study 6:45 PM seals it. After every Sunday I say to myself this has been the best message . I love being plugged in and now a member.

Very warm and friendly, Dr Stanley is amazing at teaching GOD'S word. We also went to adult bible study and enjoyed that also. We loved being at 1st Baptist Atlanta.

LOVE this church!! Dr. Stanley & Dr. George are GREAT! They preach it from the Bible & it's easy to see they are both passionate about what they do. Despite the church's large size, the small groups will make you feel welcomed.

This was the first time my husband and I visited this church. If I could go to this church every week I would go. We loved being there and seeing in person, Charles Stanley, preach God's Word! My husband and I love to watch/listen to Charles Stanley preach.

Great place for worship and instruction on how to live life as a believer in Jesus Christ.

Last Sunday while on a business trip back to my home city Atlanta I got to attend a service with Pastor Charles Stanley. It was one of the most rewarding services I've ever attended. I didn't want the hour to end. He was so moving and inspiring! God bless you Pastor. Warm and welcoming staff as well. Wish I was back there. I pray I find a church like yours in my adopted city of Las Vegas.
