Very welcoming and the event was very well organized-simulcast of Going Beyond with Priscilla Shirer.

I loved my visit to this church,I have been studying with Dr.Stanley for 20 yrs or more while in Calif. I so enjoy pastor Stanley style of teaching/ preaching, I am from Pasadena Calif moved here 6 yrs ago after losing my husband of almost 17 yrs unexpectedly, I miss him still but God gave me his comfort and peace to keep smiling and living. I was diagnosed with Cancer in my back a Lymphoma since coming here, I am an LPN couldn't get work here although I came prepared with a Ga license. I guess looking at my age,I was slightly age discriminated.I like the fact Dr Stanley doesn't deviate from the word of God and what God says in the bible.Dr. Stanley is a God fearing man,and I got the chance to listen and see him in person.I met some wonderful people while at the church. I am looking forward to going to the church again and actually meeting Dr Stanley in person and just maybe a photo, I live in Stone Mountain and I don't have a car, I took a Lyft the first time and I hope to keep coming back if I can find a way,don't have Lyft money all the time and I miss attending church,hearing the word.My sister also studies with Dr. Stanley in Ca, she still is excited and can't believe,I made it to the church. Dr. Stanley, through Jesus Christ, speaks to my heart every day. I watch him on Saturday night on TBN, read his daily devotions, listen to his daily messages on Sirius XM, share the children s devotionals with our grandchildren when they are with us. I am blessed and have followed him for over 40 years now. Dr. Stanley, many years ago, helped me through the darkest days of my life and I will forever praise Jesus for this beloved God fearing and God loving man.

I love that I learn about God and Jesus each and every time I attend!

In today's church there are few places where you can learn from pure word of God. This church is one of those places.

super duper duper duper duper massive gigantic amazingly huge mega church there's a Pokemon gym somewhere in there we couldn't reach it from inside the sanctuary this place is huge and they've got cameras on tracks and they're probably televised in 14 countries and maybe another planet.

Pastors Charles Stanley is really good the people that go there is nice and friendly and welcoming

This is a typical SOUTHERN church which appeals to the masses of southern conservatives in Atlanta. I can not stand it for a split second. Every time I go there I pray and hope that they don't incorporate politics into their message but 9/10 they are likely to do so, regardless of how subtle the approach is. Dr Stanley is a bit more relaxed about this, however, this preacher by the name of Anthony isn't. All that moron does is whine about liberals and obama during the whole sermon. Don't get me wrong some of the stuff he says I disagree with and some of it I may agree with. However, i don't go to church to listen to political mumbo jumbo, that's what the television is for. This used to be a decent church but i fail to see its appeal in this day and age.

Another thing i wanted to note is that for all the years that i have been going here, never once have i seen the lead singer be a person of color or a non white.

None the less i am more disappointed about the politics more than anything. Election season is right around the corner so i'm pretty dang sure they will turn the nonsense up a notch. I think it's a safe bet to say that i won't be returning here any time soon (my brainwashed family members may).

Wonderful church and Awesome Pastor Dr Charles Stanley!! I have learned and grown so much under his ministry for 23+ years!!

I've been following Senior Pastor Charles Stanley for many years on television, until I started attending his church. I love the way he delivers his sermons, in such a peaceful manner making sure that you understand what he's preaching about. I love the fact that he's not like some of those melodramatic over the top preachers who believes that screaming would deliver their message. He's an awesome servant of the Lord who teaches the gospel well. God bless him and his family.

I'm so glad you have invited Gordon Mote back. I didn't think you let him perform to his potential last time. You cut him short. I never understood that. He has some great songs and musical ability that truly glorifies the Lord. Ohhh..I feel so much better since I was able to share that with you and get that off my chest...ha..ha. on a more positive note..Everyone involved every Sunday does an amazing job. I love this church and both the senior pastor, Charles Stanley, and the Lead Associate Pastor, Anthony George. They are both true men of God and preach the Word unwaveringly. It is difficult for me to physically go there often because of the distance but the online services have been wonderful!

First Baptist Church Atlanta is truly the house of God. Diverse congregation with sound teaching and amazing music Sunday after Sunday.
They have an awesome counselling ministry, a good variety of Sunday school classes and their bookstore is filled with the best Christian resources available right now.
This church is definitely for anyone seeking to grow in a deeper relationship with the Lord.

These church goers are so rude. Ive been flicked off by 2 different members of their congregation as they are exiting the church - one man because he nearly took off my front end. He didn t see me in his blind spot as he was cutting over to get on 285, another because after having been waiting for 5 minutes and 4 light rotations for the traffic director to let me go, I wouldn t let the driver cut in front of me. And THESE people are supposed to be holy?

I live in the neighborhood across the street from their church, every Sunday I schedule my day around not having to go out during the church traffic.

They hire police to man 5 different traffic lights because apparently the church-goers can t figure out how to work the traffic lights. Since the church hired them, they let the people coming from the church s direction have priority. Everyone else must sit and wait through several light rotations before they can go.

Through the last 35 year's Dr Stanley has been my wife and I have listened to Dr. STANLEY AND HAVE BEEN blessed by God.

I love attending service and listening to the word of God.

This is such a special day when we can attend. Dr. Stanley is a wonderful Pastor and speaker.

Warm and welcoming people. Great Pastors. Awesome music.

Could not wait to get here this morning, and "found " again, the sermon was awesome, right on point. All glory to God.

I enjoy the cultural differences in the church and friendship of those you greet each Sunday. As much as I enjoy Dr. Stanley I prefer Dr. Anthony's style better. I also would like to say that since Dr. Anthony is assistant pastor his picture should be in the paper next to Dr. Stanley if he is to assume leadership of church at some point in the future.

Although not a member but having frequented the Sunday morning services of First Baptist Atlanta , it's a real priviledge to sit under the teaching and preaching of Dr. Charles Stanley. Dr. Stanley's commitment to inerrancy and accuracy of the Bible is known in and outside the Southern Baptist Convention. He's man of God who's been tested, tried and found true. I appreciate greatly his understanding of Christian doctrine and orthodoxy.

The music of the congregation is always filled with worship. Being a Baptist you'll enjoy singing some of the traditional hymns and as well as the new worshipful songs.

Everyone is always pleasant, repectful and engaging.

I would recommend attending here.

Let the people the word the music and everything about First Baptist church of Atlanta

This is one of my spiritual homes. They have something for everyone. Nursery, children's church, youth groups, singles, college and career, senior citizens, married couples, you name it. Our former singles pastor said that Sunday School is what makes a big church small. He is absolutely right. In order to not get lost in the shuffle and just be an audience member, I absolutely recommend getting involved in one of its Sunday Schools and ministries. My husband and I were active in the nursing home ministry where we had church service at a local nursing home and I feel like we were just as blessed as the people we ministered to. You are going to get good meat with Dr. Stanley's sermons and entertainment and fiery unashamed sermons with Pastor George. If there are any complaints, both pastors can get kinda political during election season and some Sunday School can be a little cliquish and hard to break into, but, in the ones I've been in, I feel like I made lifelong friends.

I am so very pleased with and I love the Church! Solid Truth, Soild principles.Loving Pastor! I love everything about First Baptist Atlanta!

Dr. Charles Stanley and Pastor Anthony George teach from God's word. The Sunday school classes are very good and there are many to choose from.

I visited for the first tIme today and felt like a prisoner as the doors were locked and if you had to take your little one to the bathroom, you were unable to return to the sanctuary unless you walked around the building. Not the experience that I had hoped for as a first time visitor.

Hear the word of God without the promise of getting rich overbite and excessive offering

I really like to watch or listen dr. Charles Stanley teachings online . Unfortunately we live in NC so we can't go there on Sundays. My husband took me to Atlanta First Baptist Church on my birthday and this was one of my best birthday present .
God really blessed Dr. Charles Stanley. His teachings are straight forward, full with power. God really use his servant to teach and bless us thought him. The church is really nice and well organised. Highly recommended !

I love attending FBA. I always get a good word to actively use in my daily life. Dr. Charles Stanley and Anthony George are my favorite Pastors. They have different styles of teaching and I love it! I have been searching for a church home for a long time and I finally found it!!!! Please come out and visit you will love it!!!!

It's My Church! I'm A Member There! I've Been A Member For Years!

I went there on Christmas Eve Sunday service many years ago. Dr. Stanley wasn't teaching that day but what impressed me was that even though both wrists had wraps on them, he still reached out and shook my hand.

The Bible says in Matthew 25:41-45

Then the King will turn to those on the left and say, Away with you, you cursed ones, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his demons. For I was hungry, and you didn t feed me. I was thirsty, and you didn t give me a drink. I was a stranger, and you didn t invite me into your home. I was naked, and you didn t give me clothing. I was sick and in prison, and you didn t visit me.

Then they will reply, Lord, when did we ever see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and not help you?

And he will answer, I tell you the truth, when you refused to help the least of these my brothers and sisters, you were refusing to help me. "
