New to Michigan, this was a great way to experience some of the local wildlife and beautiful scenery! Guy was very friendly and professional we had a wonderful time!

An overall great service! I called in last minute and he was kind enough to squeeze me and my gf in! He was very kind and even offered us tickets to a concert. The dry boxes he has are extremely handy and i greatly recommend trying him out.

I live down the road from here and Guy is busy ALL SUMMER long. He has great deals on quality equipment rentals and does the transporting of equipment for you.

Guy was incredibly helpful. Provided a small cooler for beveraged, and dry box for things like a cell phone. Prices can't be beat, and the routes that are chosen we're just what we were looking for.

Guy is the man!!!! I'm a big guy(6'2, 325lbs) and its not easy finding the right kayak. Fortunately Guy has the Striker 11.5 that had a weight capacity of 500lbs!!! Super stable. I loved my experience. Guy was really knowledgeable about the trails and overall overly helpful. That's hard to find these days. Keep up the good work and hopefully I will be back this summer to rent that kayak again.

Very punctual and well organized kayaking trip. Went through both the upper and lower sections of the river and enjoyed the beautiful natural landscape. Guy had everything needed on hand including dry bags for the personal items like cell phones, wallet, etc. Highly recommended!

We did the 4 hour trip, so much fun, the river is beautiful and Guy was so nice and helpful getting us ready to kayak, we will definitely go kayaking again.

This was by far the best kayaking trip I have ever been on! Guy was super friendly and extremely helpful with our group of 14 people. The river was gorgeous. I would say this is a must do for anyone visiting Muskegon who enjoys kayaking.

Hello, we simply had a good time. Nice spot to go down river. We did a 2 hour trip.

We are repeat customers and just enjoyed another fun and easy float with Guy's. This time we wanted to try out our own tandem kayak and he has a deal where if you rent kayaks from his, he'll transport yours for only $5. Most of the time, it's not worth the hassle of mounting our own to the car with his low prices. As always, he was prepared, efficient, easy to communicate with and friendly. He even had face masks since we forgot ours at home (you need them for the van ride). You can't go wrong with Guy's!

My wife and I were camping at Pioneer County Park and decided we wanted to kayak. We had never kayaked before and shared this with Guy. He told us he would take care of us. Within an hour we met Guy and a short time later we were in the water. Guy has the transport, parking, and route all taken care of. He provided protective boxes for our gear as well as life vests. He helped us into the water, and we were on our way. The river was beautiful, the water was calm, and the length of the trip, two hours, was perfect. We had a great time, and we intend to visit Guy again soon. Completely satisfied!

My husband and I booked our 3 hour kayak tour through Guy. It was a simple, easy process and Guy was awesome. He walked us through the entire trip using google maps and satellite views. He knew every inch of the river and even goes through and cuts down branches to make sure everyone has a great experience. We felt comfortable going out in our own and navigating the river with no issues. Everything Guy told us to look for was precise. We couldn t have asked for a better experience, thanks to Guy!

This is the Guy that you want to rent kayaks from! The process was painless from reservations to pickup. We had such a wonderful first time kayaking that we plan to go again as soon as possible. $20 for a 2hr trip down the river seems like a bargain for sure! The waterproof box for our phones was an added perk. If you're on the fence, go for it...Guy delivers!!!

Myself and a few friends encountered a group using this kayak service at the launch point. The driver was very rude to our group just because he thought our trip was too long. A few of the people using this service had expressed that they did not know how to use the equipment being provided (kayaks and one inflatable pontoon float). The man was very rude but did say he would show them how to use the equipment. He paddled in a circle and said that's how. About an 1-2 hours into our trip we encountered a husband and wife from this group stuck on some down trees and debris. The man's kayak was sinking and the lady was getting pushed into the trees. He could not touch and had no pfd. We spent an hour getting them out of this situation and making a chain of kayaks to pull the man and now sunkin kayak from the river. We got them out and good to go again, 10 min later she is stuck again and can't control her float. The man flips his kayak and fills it again. We once again save them and after risking our safety, we express to them our concerns for them being on the river. The wife stayed on shore and waited for us to send help. The husband took off and went down the wrong branch. We sent someone after him as well. Both are safe. My concern is that you send people without basic guidance and without a guide itself. You may have them sign waivers but you are allowing unaware people to go out and get into situations that others end up having to risk their own safety to make sure others are safe. I did NOT sign a waiver but with no cell service who would just pass by and allow someone's life to be in jeopardy. GUY, get it together... there are tons of people, that are great river guides and could provide basic instructions, that would LOVE this summer job

Fun day on the Muskegon river thanks to Guys Ultimate Kayak Service! We booked the trip online which was quick and easy and paired with my Google calendar. We would highly recommend this company due to great communication and Guys attention to detail as well as great equipment. The logistics were well thought out, letting us enjoy our time on the river.

Great service/trip for a great price! We opted for the 4 hour kayaking trip. Beautiful scenery through the Muskegon River. We saw two baby beavers, multiple turtles, and a snake. Guy's Kayaking organizes everything for your trip.

My boys and I just got off the river from our first Guy s Kayak adventure. Guy is knowledgeable and his system is great; he brought us to the river, gave us brief instructions, helped us load in, and sent us on our way. As we approached our landing spot, Guy s van arrived (impeccable timing) to pick up the kayaks.

The river ride was smooth, the scenery was beautiful, and the adventure was easy on the pocket book. We plan on scheduling more trips in the future.

Awesome experience! We were camping at hoffmaster state park and decided to go kayaking at the last minute. I found Guy's from a Google search and made a call.
Guy booked the time that worked for me and my son, and helped us pick the right spot on the river for a great time of kayaking. The whole process, from 1st call to being picked up at the end of our float, was super easy. So easy, in fact, that it makes me wonder how come no one else provides this level of high- touch, friendly, and kind customer service?

Guy made our kayaking experience the best! He was very friendly and gives you plenty of time to enjoy yourself. My favorite thing about renting from him was that he took great pictures! He took one before we got in our kayak and took some while we were in the water paddling. I'll definitely rent from him again!

My boyfriend and I had an amazing time. This was my first experience and I'll never forget it! He gave me very helpful tips and helped us feel comfortable. Very cheep as well! It was 40 total for two hours on the river for the both of us, and he didn't make us put the equipment away. Wasn't pushy about making us pay upfront which was very refreshing. Lovely experience, and really made our weekend. We will be returning customers any time we're in Muskegon!

My wife and I had a great 2h trip at the Muskegon river with Guy's kayaking. He gave us a ride to the launch point, set up kayaks, even let us charge the phone and offered a waterproof case for it.

Great kayaking experience. Boats were clean and in good condition, Guy was on time and very knowledgeable with our questions before getting on the river. We did the Upper & Southern float, and it certainly took all 4 hours to do both parts of the river. Trip was fun and we were very curious who put the very old wood seawall in the Muskegon River.

Had a great time! Guy was super nice and very professional. Went in the afternoon and it was fun. Will try a morning trip next time.
