I am a vegetarian and while yes they do have one option, one is not enough. they have penty of meat options, fish even, for meat eaters, vegetarians cant want the same lukewarm mushrooms with tomato sauce. I cant even enjoy a decent salad because the dressing has meat in it. I got a plate of wilted lettuce. I really do enjoy the the theater but, that's all i can enjoy. I wish they would have more than one option. Otherwise, good performances.

Just saw Elf. The food was very good. LOVED the Coquille St. Jacques seafood appetizer. Waited a long time between courses. Finally got up and grabbed 2 of the rumchata cheesecakes sitting on a serving tray a short distance from our table. This a small thing, but since pop is extra $ -- when someone asks for a Diet Coke or Diet Pepsi, don't just bring the RC cola version without mentioning it. I honestly didn't know RC still existed. It shouldn't -- it tastes horrible. However, the raspberry ice tea I got this time -- since I am now smart enough to ask if it's still RC products -- was wonderful. The show was also very good. Especially liked Buddy's bell solo. The theater is pretty tired looking, but doesn't distract from the show. I really hope though they upgrade the seating in the near future. Spoiled by the seating in movie theaters these days!

Great food and wonderful show! My whole family loved the Fireside experience. Our opinion was that it was worth every penny to upcharge to the higher end dinner options but all the food looked great.

Went to see "The Little Mermaid" with my wife. The food has always been good, but when we were here a couple of years ago, the dining room was pretty dated. They must have recently remodeled because now it looks great! The show was top notch.

Very enjoyable. Food was delicious. Saw Buddy Holly show. Very fun. Had pleasant experience in that our waitress, Danielle, returned some of my tip because I had figured out her tip incorrectly. She was very honest and I appreciated her honesty greatly. Love the Fireside!

My mother, two sisters and I were all newcomers to the fireside this year. We weren't quite sure what to expect but all ended up absolutely falling in love with the place. We wish there were more shows to go to this year since were not big "fiddler on the roof" fans we have decided to go see "Mary Poppins"...again :)

This was my our first time and it will not be our last!
This is the absolute best offerings of gift shops I have ever seen, it is modestly priced and the staff is attentive and very helpful.

The dining experience was to their statement "better than expected", we had the Basic dinner and it was great, the portions were appropriate and the staff was marvelous. Holly was our gal, and by the end of the meal, she was like family, very professional, never pushy, very informative, and generally very good at what she does, they are a team and everyone was on task and only concerned about our satisfaction. The experience was great.

Now for Momma Mia!!!
I have not enjoyed anything that much in a long time. The setting and staging was unique and very friendly, the leads were marvelous and you could tell they do this because they like to not because they get paid to do so. The ensemble was also very fun to watch and on top of their game from the opening notes.
For me, Rosie stole the show! She was beyond fun, and I thought she would be fun to know and her "take a Chance on me" was simply a showstopper!!!

As I said at the beginning, we had a special event, my Mother in Laws 86th birthday and everyone turned them selves inside out to make sure it was a special time.

We will be back, thanks for a great time.

We saw Church Basement Ladies here. Nice show. Very hospitable staff. Thought the food could've been better. Nice couple of gift shops. Maybe it was the show, but very much an older (I'd say about retired age) crowd, not that it mattered. I liked the old school architecture

A thoroughly enjoyable way to celebrate a birthday! Plenty of parking. Great food with plenty of options. Friendly, attentive waitstaff, no delays, even though hundreds of meals were served with military planning and precision.

After the meal, there's plenty of time and places to shop before the show. The professional performance was amazing. Vocals spot on. Actors enthusiastic. And, all with limited scenery and space. Add costumes, and you transcend to a tropical island, years ago and thousands of miles away in the "South Pacific."

OMG!!!!!! Beautiful place once you walk into. Much bigger in inside then it seems from outside. The woods painted on the walls are interesting. If you look around, you'll find Big Foot hiding in there. You'll see couple of kids playing. Craved initials of a couple on a tree. Etc. Food is top quality. There is a theater when walking to restaurant area. Didn't see inside, but heard alot of GREAT shows are put on in there. Beautiful Place

We had an incredible experience! Look food was homemade and delicious and the show was 1st rate! I would highly recommend anyone going to the theater. If I had any criticism it would be that it is a lengthy experience when you include the meal and the time getting ready for the show.

What a wonderful place. I did not get to see the show, but the experience was great! The food was yummy! The atmosphere was wonderful. It's amazing when you walk into the place, it is a lot bigger on the inside than it looks on the outside. They even have a couple of gift shops. All in all I would recommend this place!

Dinner and theater were very good as well as most gift shops, however 2 in our party were treated so rudely at the clothing and jewelry gift shop, being accused of counterfeiting and of making up an offer which was clearly posted on signage. This same salesperson made such a scene in both cases it was embarrassing and not one we are likely to return and experience. Tainted the whole evening.

The show was outstanding from the sets, to the lighting, and of course the performers. Eat beforehand, as the food came out so late we barely had time to eat before the show, despite waiting in line to be seated right away. Management does not visit tables as is done in so many mid-priced restaurants. The meal consists of vegetables so over cooked that they look canned, expect your medium rare steak to come out medium well, and the pretzel chicken to have a mushy breading, while the chicken is a hockey puck and you a side of wilted potato wedges. The house salad come out with greens dotted with melons and a drizzle of 1,000 island dressing. I gave it the old college try, but it was not for me. Dessert was acceptable, but didn't make up for the rest of the meal. We will go again, but will eat beforehand and expect the included meal to be a sad source of entertainment. Management was contacted before posting this.

The Fireside Theater is a great place to go with the family. The plays are second to none, and the buffet is fantastic! BEST CHICKEN EVER! This is a very classy place that you will enjoy. Very friendly staff as well.

Tip: Ladies, choose a play that your husband will enjoy and he will be much more likely to want to go back.

A great dining experience. They must have five star chefs working there. The customer service is always excellent. The shows are wonderful. I have laughed and cried. If you have never been there, you are missing out on a wonderful experience. It is a little pricey, but for the quality of the food and the show, it is worth it.

About Fireside Theatre

Fireside Theatre: A Midwest Entertainment Destination

The Fireside Dinner Theatre is a premier entertainment destination located in Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin. It is one of the most popular dinner theatres in the Midwest and has been entertaining audiences for over 50 years. The theatre is known for its high-quality productions, delicious food, and exceptional service.

What sets Fireside Theatre apart from other dinner theatres is that it is the only Actor’s Equity dinner theatre in Wisconsin. This means that all of the actors are members of the Actors’ Equity Association, which represents professional stage actors and stage managers in the United States.

The theatre’s history dates back to 1964 when founder George D. Widener opened a small restaurant with a stage where local performers could showcase their talents. Over time, it evolved into a full-fledged dinner theatre with Broadway-style productions featuring professional actors from around the country.

Today, Fireside Theatre boasts an impressive lineup of shows throughout the year ranging from classic musicals like “The Sound of Music” to contemporary hits like “Mamma Mia!”. Each production features elaborate sets, costumes, and lighting design that transport audiences to another world.

But what really sets Fireside Theatre apart is its commitment to providing an exceptional dining experience alongside its top-notch entertainment offerings. The menu features classic American cuisine with options for vegetarians and those with dietary restrictions. Guests can choose from appetizers like shrimp cocktail or spinach artichoke dip before moving on to entrees such as prime rib or chicken cordon bleu. And no meal at Fireside would be complete without dessert – options include classics like cheesecake or chocolate cake as well as seasonal specialties like pumpkin pie during fall shows.

In addition to its regular productions, Fireside also offers special events throughout the year including holiday-themed shows during Christmas season and concerts featuring popular artists such as The Oak Ridge Boys or Kenny Rogers.

For those looking for a unique night out or special occasion celebration – whether it be a birthday party or anniversary – Fireside Theatre provides an unforgettable experience that combines great food with world-class entertainment all under one roof.

In conclusion, if you’re looking for an unforgettable night out filled with delicious food and top-notch entertainment then look no further than Fireside Dinner Theatre – one of Midwest’s most beloved destinations!
