Fireside Theatre Review

My steak was awesome, but I don't like that you can't really sub out other things. I'm allergic to shrimp, don't like dressing on my salad, and don't like cheesecake but didn't seem like asking for accommodations was possible unless it was a gluten allergy.

The Arc of Dodge County attended Buddy Holly. So good- such talent!!. Service was excellent- we were a group of 66 with walkers and wheelchairs. Everyone enjoyed the afternoon and evening.Our staff person from Fireside, Lisa, was so very nice. Thank you for a great day.

Excellent dinner-and-a-show place. The food and the behavior of the staff rivals that of a luxury cruise. On Thursdays and Sundays (matinee), there is a buffet - go for it. The variety and the quality is outstanding. Everything from the moment you arrive is intended to make your experience pleasant. There are several shops (my wife always finds something) and a sunken bar. The plays/musicals are performed on a stage that is surrounded on all sides with seats. Actors enter and exit down the aisles or will rise from the center of the stage (which is a huge elevator.) There are no bad seats. Everything is handicap accessible. Excellent experience.

Always great food and performances! Great place to go for a family outing! Saturday Night Fever is next on the list!

We had such h a wonderful time at the Fireside! Different little gift shops to browse through, something for everyone. Dinner was incredible! And the show...Annie...it was amazing! So much talent! We will definitely be back! Thank you for a very memorable evening!

Went for dinner and The Buddy Holly story. The food was great the service was awesome and the show was wonderful. We are already looking for a new dinner and show at this place.

Attended a Christian Concert featuring Karen Peck & New River. Wonderful venue and excellent buffet. We always try to go several times each year.

The food was excellent & the show was amazing! The dining room was beautifully creative & unique! The show performers were closer to our seating than I expected, which made the show seem much more intimate & exciting... I came away very happy that I decided to visit the Fireside!

Consistently very good food and fantastic theater shows, both at a great value for the price. I would consider The Fireside Theatre to be the "jewel of Ft. Atkinson," and offers a "total dinner theater experience," comparable to what you would normally experience in a "big city" (like Chicago, etc).

The plays are always amazing , I wish they would update to more comfortable seating in the theater but mainly I wish they would elevate the menu. It is hard to justify the price a ticket when including the meal. I love going but the food is not worth what you are paying in my opinion still good but more along the lines of a family buffet or dinner then fine dining. Restaurant remodel is amazing though looks good just with the food where a bit better .

My mom and friends have been coming here for over 20 years. Recently We have NOT been happy. I used to be able to get certain bakery items and other food items from one of the little shops. They have stopped making a certain FLAVOR of the bakery item that I have been ordering for years. It was a very big seller. I don't understand WHY that particular FLAVOR had been discontinued. ALSO the pie ingredients that I purchase EVERY YEAR from that little shop for me and others has been discontinued! We drive ALMOST 2 hours to get to the Fireside in Fort Atkinson. I have bmoreen a VERY FAITHFUL customer and my mother has been also. Each year I bring friends to enjoy the experience. I usually purchase 3 or more shows a year! I am embarrassed to bring new people to the experience that has gone down hill for the past 4 years!! Now before the Covic19 issue, I had purchased more shows for this year (I don't know why), and now I have missed a show last month and to this day I call and call and call.... I get NO ANSWER!! The recording says " visit our website" ..WHY!!??? I am VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!! TO SAY THE LEAST. I would like a refund for my purchases this year! So I am wondering HOW and WHEN I will have my money refunded! I think this may have ended my business to this establishment.!!!!!

We enjoy the old school supper club atmosphere and sunken bar area. Very relaxing place to go to.

We saw The Little Mermaid last weekend during our annual visit to Fort Atkinson. I can't believe this is our first show considering we have been coming to Wisconsin from the San Francisco Bay Area for years. The production was impressive with high quality performances by such a talented cast. The main gift shop has a variety of items to choose from. Give yourself some time to shop before the show and you won't be disappointed. I highly recommend catching a show at the Fireside Dinner Theater. My family and I will definitely be back next year!

Great food and service second to none. We saw The Legends of Country Music and really enjoyed the great performances.

Great show and we had fun. Beautiful facility with wonderful service.

You can try, but it will be hard to find a better experience than we had at the Fireside. The meal was just excellent and our service was great. The show was first rate, from the costumes and props to the amazing dancing singing and acting. An unforgettable experience!

I ve been here several times through the years and in my opinion the quality of food has been getting cheaper as the years go on. For the amount of money you pay for a dinner and a show I would expect the meal to at least look appealing. Last night my parents celebrated their 62nd anniversary and we celebrated or 14th. We wanted a memorable night and it was nothing but disappointment. First, my mother and I are in wheelchairs, they were made aware of this at the time of ordering the tickets, and they seated us so far away we had to interrupt other guests meals while trying to get in and out. How embarrassing. Second, once our table was ready we sat for 1 hour and finally got our soup and bread. Probably a half hour before we got our appetizer which was good but hardly enough to get around to 6 people. My poor dad said he was hungry and I already took my insulin thinking I was going to get a meal soon. Well that s when I decided to complain. A minute later we conveniently received our food . What a joke, it was good but 1 little pork chop, a little ice cream scoop of potatoes and lots of gravy (to hide how little was there), a little scoop of corn. OMG! We waited all this time for that! Not even any garnish to make it look nice. Unbelievable it still just makes me so upset thinking about it. Oh and then the drinks! Ordered a margarita, they don t have any top rail tequila! Margaritas are one of the most popular drink so why wouldn t you serve what your customers like? Next ordered a raspberry iced tea because they have junk for soda and OMG it was so sweet there was no way I could drink it! Ended up drinking boring water. Great to go with my cheap meal.
We watched Buddy Holly and I would definitely give 5 stars to the actors, man they can sing. I would also give 5 stars to the shops and the workers in the shops they are so kind and helpful.

Visited the gift shop. Fantastic! Love & Miss this place for dinner & theater. Always Great food, & Always a Fantastic show. Can't wait for the shows to begin again.

As you enter Fireside, you'll find how well it's organize. One can pick up a ticket, then go a short distance to drop off their coat. There's several souvenir shops to entice your interest with some of the most beautiful and unique items. If however, you taste require something more edible, then there's a bakery full of various desserts. No matter which show is attended (matinee or evening), the food is always superb and the show's a class act.

Fireside Theatre is a great place to take a date. Food is delicious and is paired together well. The shows are always enjoyable. I look forward to seeing what they come out with every year

Make sure to visit the gift shops. They have several items that are one of a kind.

Make sure to buy your tickets in advanced. They are all good seats but I prefer the closer rows.

If you have never been to the Fireside, you need to experience it. They have a great place and a good day or night show. I have never seen a show that wasn't excellent and Thier food is tops.

Fabulously good time. Awesome food, wait staff, and loved the show. Amazing entertainers who not only looked like but sounded like the stars they mimicked. Reba, Brooks and Dunn and Shania Twain were outstanding. Jaime and I had a 'boot skootin'' good time.

Theater shows are consistently above average. Great talent. Dinners are so-so, but the overall experience is more about he theater.
