Great show White Christmas and good food and drinks
Went with my granddaughter Joyanne... A wonderful way to spend a afternoon together.
Really impressed with the 2 shows we have seen. I have to say I prefer the set menu over the buffet.
Update: Joseph and the technicolor dream coat was horrible. I ve seen this before but not done like this. we had to get up and leave it was so bad.
We went to see Annie. Very good production. The food on the buffet was hot and tasty. Staff was very attentative.
Love the food and the entertainment. I would see what they have for shows and go there to eat.
Loved the Wizard of Oz performance and found the food to be excellent. We had the plated dinner which I liked better than trying to go through a buffet line. This was the highlight of our Lancaster vacation.
The show was great, wasn't impress by the buffet selection.
Great talent and great food! Friendly people. I love musicals. This is my favorite dinner theater!
Terrific night shared with our great grandson and family... nice production of wizard of Oz
Excellent food, service, price and shows. A regular attender.
The show was fabulous. The actors were great in it.
The food very good.
Went through Starr Tours.
Wish they would have more trips to Dutch Apple Dinner.
Holiday Inn was well done, with strong leads and ensemble. Pit orchestra did a great job as well! Set was adequate, but more like a decent high school musical. Food was lackluster at best, and better last night than this morning ;)
Fantastic venue for the quintessential dinner and a show. There is a buffet style dinner, check the website by day to see what is offered, and the food is pretty good. There isn't a lot of selection on dinner, but they do have a varied dessert bar as well. Drinks ( both alcoholic and non) are paid separately, and depending on the show, the cocktails are themed. Very nice place, prices are a but steep, but the shows are well worth it!
This was a really fun place. Grease was fun to watch, it was a little more adult oriented than we had hoped. We took an 11 year old. The food was OK. I would give 5 if not for those things. Go on a weekend when the cast comes into the lobby and performs individually after the show. Best part.
Awesome experience! Lots of older people but good times and good service.
I went during rehearsals to do maintenance, but I was impressed, I also have friends that work there, overall has a good atmosphere!
The buffet is excellent! A variety of shows to choose from each year. I highly recommend it!
We to see finding Neverland it was amazing! The food was excellent also.
We've been getting season tickets to Dutch Apple for the past few years now. Musicals are always great. We're not as crazy about the food, though the salad bar is yummy. The specialty drinks are always delicious too.
Outstanding, loved the ( million dollar Quartet ) for the 2 and time & the covid- 19 was very well planned out , felt completely comfortable . We are planning on more shows in the future !
Somethings Afoot was super. Very funny and well acted.
Highly recommend going. Went with the lady in my life to see Clue the musical. Had an amazing time. Food was wonderful
I was very impressed at the lengths they went (due to the virus scare) to keep us safe . Thank you Dutch Apple Theater !!
The show was good also.
Website describes as family friendly but was full of progressive "humor". Isn't it possible to just go to a show without this overtones? Prime rib was dry and tough.
Waited approx 25 mins for a drink, and the knuffel bunny show was terrible! Absolutely no plot to it. I cant even believe any kid found it interesting!
Show was great. Food excellent and service fantastic. The only negative from me and others was the sound quality. Either could not hear or understand. Others at the show voiced the same complaint.
The lady who sold us the tickets was so helpful. N kind. She gave us what we needed. I believe her name was Fran. She is a keeper. Thank you
On Thursday nights, they serve dinner rather than a buffet. It was delicious. The show we saw was phenomenal! The talent was amazing & all the actors seemed to be enjoying it as much as I did.
Enjoyed the singing and the dancing. It was a good play. All the cast were very talented.
The dinner served before the show was really good. We saw "A Christmas Carol"and the cast gave a great performance. The only complaint I had was that the server was inattentive to our needs. Our drinks were often empty for long periods of time and he walked past our table often
Shows are very professional. The food is good but nothing exceptional.
Great for large group trips. Food was good, acid were great,
Kamla second half was not very good. Meaning the ending was rushed.
We did the little kid summer camp. The kids learned a lot and had so much fun. They got to perform for family and friends at the end.
At this place you either chose to taste a wonderful buffet of Pennsylvania Dutch foods before the play or not, you can make it a fun family night or a date night... small but cozy.
Food was great and the show was spectacular and very uplifting!! Fun afternoon. Definitely would go back!!
Food varies in quality so you might have to poke around buffet to find what you like. Salad bar and desserts are always good. The production talent is excellent. Voices for musicals are always high quality. The stage is small so there is still a feeling of the high school senior play but the set designer's creativity is often amazing. Costumes for Camelot we're gorgeous. Armor was light metal, not plastic. The brocade was blinding in the stage lights. Hehe. Actors are all have mics so sound not an issue. Small live orchestra used for musicals.
Good dinner theater. Good food and enjoyable entertainment.
Very nice place! I will be going back. The food was good. The show was very nice. I would definitely recommend it.
Came to see the Tribute to the Beatles. Great show. Buffet was great, with lots of variety and a wonderful dessert spread. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Very easy to find off 30. Look forward to coming for other shows in future.
My bus group attended the production of " Annie" Fabulous! We had the served dinner which was good, need to have a selection of soup, also maybe choice of side dishes.Good choices of entrees, everyone in my group was happy with the dinner choices. Overall a good time was had by all!
Absolutely an awesome place to go and enjoy entertainment very respectful with the covid-19 situation going on right
Really friendly staff. Super accommodating. Smaller theater so no matter where you re sitting, you ll have a decent view of the stage.
Food is fantastic, the show was AMAZING (Finding Neverland) and the service is always top notch!!
The lead for Annie was a disaster!!! Nasal screech and no vocal range was the low light of the evening!!! The child was not the quality performer that Dutch Apple usually recruits. Shouting and not singing was evident from the opening song "Maybe" in the most annoying Fran Dreisher New York nasal tones from the Nanny show in the 90's. Very tepid applause after song and a lot of whispering confirmed the audience was unimpressed with the vocal quality of the the lead (Annie). HORRIBLE CHOICE BY THE DIRECTOR AND IT WAS RUMORED THAT IT WAS HIS DAUGHTER.....YES HIS DAUGHTER!!!!! There are 2 casts for this show...good luck. Small tables. Friendly staff.
