My onions with Jars?
My beef chuck roast with a couple sented candles, olive jars On top, of the roast!
When I decide to shop Giant Eagle I know I am paying top dollar for the products. In return for the top dollar price We deserve to the best customer service.
Pack the grocery bags properly, please.

I went into the store today to purchase food for the holiday and I saw very few customers wearing masks properly or at all. Not only were customers not following directions but I saw EMPLOYEES with masks around their chins. I felt very unsafe. We have hospitals overloading with coronavirus patients and nurses and doctors risking their lives and Giant Eagle can t even enforce their policies with their employees. I ve never seen this type of behavior in target or Aldis. I have shopped at Giant Eagle for years and I will no longer since they do not value my safety as a customer or the safety of their employees.

Great grocery store with a large variety of unique and hard-to-find items. The sushi and stir fry folks are on point and serve some great food you can eat there or carry out,im addition to a hot bar and a salad bar full of other choices. The only downside is that it can get a little more expensive for basic items compared to other local choices.

Since the store has recently renovated, it is fantastic! It's so much more personal (even though it's larger). There is now a fresh pizza oven, lots of freshly prepared healthful meals, a wok and noodle area where the chef makes whatever you want to order. A wine expert and wine tastings, larger selection of heavenly cheeses, the produce has improved, and the fabulous demonstration kitchen where chefs give cooking demos - when the chef isn't there, a large HD screen over the kitchen shows cooking lessons - and they're creative, innovative recipes! The meat department is amazing and offers a wide selection of marinated kabobs (chicken, beef, shrimp), various flavored salmon burgers, and of course creative hamburgers. This is where I regularly shop and (although the renovation has been a bit trying at times) I have been wow-ed by the extreme make-over that Giant Eagle has invested in here.
I never would have thought that I'd actually go to the grocery store for lunch! LOL
The cheese department has even called me at home to let me know when my favorite cheese would be in so that I could come pick some up - I've been blown away. Kudos, Kudos Giant Eagle!

Just went in for a couple of items. Store too big and spread out for that type of shopping. Probably better for major shopping trip or dash in to pickup from their hot food take out section just inside the door.

No room to walk. They just throw stuff in the middle or on the side of every isle making it ridiculously hard to navigate a cart through the store without hitting someone or something. Absolutely Ridiculous and makes the shopping experience miserable. I'll be going elsewhere from now on.

I don't work at the grocery store. If I wanted a job here, I'd turn in an application. There is never more than one human being ringing out customers. The 3 times i've done self checkout, only to avoid the alternative option of suicide in an overpriced, congested store, I need to scan the store card to even begin the process. If you're buying alcohol, it takes 6 minutes for an angry teenager to not look you in the eye while entering a random birthday.
The bakery sells 6 cookies for 8 dollars....you would think a company would pride themselves on customer service. WRONG!
If you're interested in low priced fruits, veggies, baking ingredients and spices, drive 5 minutes down the road to Beilers dutch market in hartville. You'll walk out with 10 bags for under a crisp 20 dollar bill.

This is a HUGE grocery store that offers a lot of hidden gems. When I'm looking for something specific for a recipe, I will try here first. They have a small Asian section that actually has quite a bit in it. While this is a great grocery store when you have time, it is NOT one you stop at when you need something quickly. The floor plan is laid out so you maximize time in the store (which is great because you're less likely to forget things) but makes it hard to run in a grab Apple sauce packets for your kiddo before school.
They have a wonderful to order section offering hot food bar with fried chicken, macaroni and cheese, mashed potatoes, jojos and a few other things. They have salad bar next to the hoot food, but they also have to order Asian dishes, sushi and pizza. They also added in beer and wine tasting. They setup tables around the store and you go try different beers on a Friday night.
They have a HUGE meat department that has aged beef, chicken, pork and a large variety of fish. This includes a large frozen section. They do NOT have sushi grade fish for bulk (or individual) purchase. Their sushi bar sources in some other company for sushi grade meats.
Very large cheese section! They have specialty cheeses and they come in a variety of sizes.
There is a very large health and wellness section here too. Lennys and Larrys cookies, caffeinated almond butter, protein powders, bars, pre-workouts and vitamins.
Just stop in when you have time. You'll be amazed.

Your male employee who packed our groceries gave no consideration for softer items and put heavy bagged items on top of our bread , our potato chips and our grapes. Our bread and grapes were noticeably damaged by his inept ability to do his job correctly. I worked in the grocery business for several years when i was younger and i'm amazed these days with store management's lack of concern for its customers.

This place has a lot more than ur average grocery store, the food court is great, and they some bulk coffee and tea , which is a big plus for me. I will say though that Giant Eagle is usually a little pricey for most people, this one is even a little higher priced with some items, not all though.

Cashier in the liquor department was arrogant and gave me attitude for asking him to ring up six small grocery items on top of my $60 in liquor. I mean, how dare I want groceries from the grocery store...? There was one person in line behind me that I offered to go ahead of me. She declined so he rang me up. Smart ass comments the entire time. If you don't want people checking out groceries in the liquor line say so or put up a sign. Save the attitude for someone who cares. My family and I will spend our grocery money somewhere with more friendly service.
