Festival Foods Review

I am Gluten free and was excited to see Festival starting to expand their GF department. But at what cost. My favorite loaf of Glutino bread is $6.49 a loaf at Festival and only $3.99 at Woodman's. The list goes on I find that every GF item that I could compare was anywhere from $1 - $2.50 more at Festival. This saddens me and I feel like in the GF area I am being taken advantage. The stores are nice and clean and their produce beats Woodman's any day of the week and happy to pay a little more for produce that will last more than a day or two. Looking forward to the opening of the Holmen Store that is the one I normally shop but GF is limited due to shelf space so have to shop in Onalaska and La Crosse.

The only place we have ever found a spoon roast and they are fantastic!

Loving the selection at this Festival in Onalaska. It continues to get more of a variety of specialty items that I buy, organic and keto friendly. Copeland location doesn't seem to have as good of a variety that this Festival does, so I do hope they can improve that to the same level since it's more convenient to where I live and work. Both locations have incredibly friendly workers. Boomerang!

I was thoroughly impressed by Onalaska Festival's Bakery. I ordered a cake and on the day I was supposed to pick it up, I realized I ordered the wrong size. At noon I called and checked to see if I could change it, willing to pick it up the next day even. The Bakery team was amazing! They updated my order to the size I needed, and completed the cake by by 4 in the afternoon...THE SAME DAY. Gold Star to Festival's Bakery Team in Onalaska!

Always the freshest fruit and veggies. Meat is awesome too. Great deli counter. Clean, bright and inviting.

Was a pleasant experience. Both my cashier and bagger girls were great. No name tags as new.

The checker was friendly and the other associates made sure I had what I was looking for.

Festival is always top notch when it comes to courticy, variety and friendly staff!

People need to keep their kids from running all over. This is not a playground! I hit one kid who ran in front of me with a cart there was no place for me to go. Food choices are good and love the deli!!!

I love the selection of deli and meats. The bad, premade salads are all made with the ends of the head of lettuce, no leaf. $7 for a salad it shouldn't be all lettuce core.

The selection may be good but the customer service and pricing in comparison to other food retailers are much less impressive. Happened to be one PENNY short for my purchase today, forgetting my wallet at home so I had to make due with what I thought was enough. Feeling very embarrassed I asked if the cashier happened to have a penny. She gave me a pretty disgusted look and simply said "no," continuing to stare at me until a customer in line happened to be kind enough to cover the 1 cent I was missing. To that individual, if you read this, thank you again for your kindness. To Festival corporate... take into consideration that your cashiers have a huge influence on your company's image and a penny worth of compassion can go a long a way.

Everything that I wanted was in-stock, on the shelf and rang up as expected. What better service can you ask for?

I like it up here reminds me of Utah back in the day.

Shame on you Festival for not going back to 24hrs. You are no longer convenient or accommodating for me and a lot of other people who work different shifts who relied on a 24hr grocery store. Thank you to woodman's for going back to 24hrs, as I will for now on give you my business that festival is no longer worthy of having!

Always loved stopping here while traveling. Stopped in on a Sunday and their deli counter was packed! (A great sign) The hot/cold deli counter was fantastic. Great place to stop or shop while passing through.

They have great deals here all the time especially if you join the festival foods VIP text club

This store does have a really great selection of coffee beans.

This is a great store! Marty in the meat department is the greatest guy you can ever meet! He knows so much about the business. He knows how to treat customers really well! As he told me, the store doesn't treat people who come into there like customers, they treat them like family and thats what he does every single time!!!

Prices may be a bit higher but the produce and best quality is amazing. Staff Is friendly. Store is clean.

I do ALL My Meat Shopping here as they have an Amazing meat department as well as Deli and a Very good Bakery with a wonderfully amazing whipped cream frosting Marble cake

They are doing a great job keeping the store clean and protecting their staff and customers.

I really like this store. It's well laid out, has great deli, produce, and meat departments, and even surprises shoppers with unannounced sales on specific items. It does get busy in the early evening hours.

The prices here are terribly high...unless you are picking up just a few things that are on sale, avoid Festival...I thought Hy-Vee was bad...wow, just wow.

A month ago I ordered a cake for my daughter for her wedding and cupcakes. We was told that you had to be paid for the week of the wedding we went Friday called Friday to go pick up the cake to which they said we did not make one because it has to be paid for in the week of the wedding. Friday is in the week of the wedding I said the wedding is Saturday. There was a little bit of a conversation they ended up making the cake and cupcakes in the delivering for free. 150 cupcakes that were supposed to be blue and white which were but it was supposed to be buttercream frosting and it wasn't the blue frosting on there was so nasty people was not wanting to to eat it I had so many leftover. Even wjen i took them home to give out to people tjey did nor want them. They didn't put the Shimmer on the cupcakes like we ask. It was all pretty much a disaster had so many leftover cupcakes I will never ever order a cake there again they just did not do anything that we ask them to do. They just threw it together the night before because they forgot to make it. They said they called us they had 3 different numbers not one of our numbers had a call or a message for sure no message from Festival Foods. As I told the lady if you did call you should have left a message that is the professional thing to do. But there was no message almost no cake and what we did have was crappy cupcakes. When a person ask for something specific and they're paying money to get it they should get it not happy with Festival Foods when the groom specifically asked for buttercream frosting and we got gross frosting. And all they could offer was a free setup and delivery or pre-delivery I should say. Worst

Was out of one of their specials I went to pick up.
