Went to Jools Holland & Jazz festival, Superb, Theatre itself is excellent, lot's of toilets, access through rising large open staircase, which is bright & airy, great for those feel claustrophobic in crowds, Seat's comfortable, but not so much that you feel asleep, bar on ground & first floor, can't take glass into theatre, but there were plastic tumblers beside entrance to theatre itself.

Took my 5 year old daughter. Staff were super nice and offered us better seats as tickets were returned on the day.
Great facilities, clean. Pricey but worth it on those special family occasions.

Been here a few times now and every time has been brilliant. Even with a technical hutch in the first half of our performance did not dampen our enjoyment.

We saw Ghost the Musical which was good but the location helped us enjoy it with the atmosphere.

Nice theatre with a (albeit over-priced cafe.) I went here during EIFF and while service was good the seats don't have much legroom and it is pretty cramped and stuffy. However the theatre itself is beautiful and the films were good.

The place is big , beautiful old theater. Nice and friendly personnel, very beautiful place. The seats are very old, old style theater. You'll find all the facilities inside, including the bar to eat or drink something. We found a good price as well for the show, buying the group on coupon, so it was also cheap. There are many shows of movies, very good and rich timetable.

Clean & tidy, friendly & efficient staff, welcoming, nice cafe which sells soft & alcoholic drinks, coffee/tea, cakes/biscuits. Nice clean premises, great shows - what is there NOT to like?

Spotlessly clean theatre, we ordered an interval drink via the app and there was a member of staff there to ensure that your drink wasn't picked up by someone else in error . Loads of ladies toilets which were also very clean

We had a great experience going to see Swimming Wiith Men at the Festival Theatre Edinburgh, thanks to manager Ythan Baird. We phoned the same day as my son could only mobilise on crutches. Ythan couldn't have been more helpful, accommodating us in a VIP box and meeting us in the foyer on arrival. The film got 5 stars from us too. A feelgood evening all round!

Large capacity theatre with a big stage, ideal for dance, musicals and opera. Auditorium is traditional style and contrasts with the bright and airy foyers. No parking onsite. Loads of bus routes stop outside.
