Fenwick Inn Review

The most difficult grou9 to deal with even trying to make a reservation. STAY AWAY FROM CAROUSEL MANAGED PROPERTIES.
I would also like to let potential guest know not all COVID-19 rules are followed. Many staff and guest are mask free.

This was an amazing place to stay. We enjoyed the pool n hottub. The staff are very helpful and eager to help your stay a pleasure.

The room was nice, food in the hotel was really good and the pool was great. My only complaint is that the rooms seemed to lack any kind of real ventilation. The windows looked as though they couldn't be opened, and the bathrooms didn't have a fan in them so any fumes would be caught in the room. Overall it was good but needs some small improvements.

The nightshift girl with red hair was just awful. Awful customer service. Beds were comfortable and room clean.

Room was comfortable for our family. Nice view of the town and glimpse of the beach. Rooftop restaurant and indoor bar area were recently updated and very nice. Staff was friendly. Pool and hot tub were clean and there was always fresh towels. There is a bathroom on the first floor, adjacent to pool area. No coffee maker in rooms, but it's available on the first floor. Cheap price. Overall nice place and very kind and pleasant staff. Will definitely stay there again.

Everything was as expected, but the wait staff in the restaurant was rather rude, and the food wasn't very satisfying.

Friendly staff. Great pool and hot tub. Quiet and peaceful. The bed is a bit uncomfortable but we may just be used to our memory foam back home. Overall a great stay.

Always loved coming to this hotel until this last weekend when we wanted to get away for the night and everything g was great until after we checked out I noticed these red blotches and spots on my back and arms and they became super itchy. Well unfortunately with having experience with bed bugs this was what my spots were and me being highly allergic to them I get welps. So needless to say call the front desk and they said the magaer would call us and it's been 2 days and no reply and can't get ahold of anyone for an answer. Frustrated and pissed and want me money back from this place!

I've always stayed here but will never again. I had a bad experience & had to leave in the middle of the night. The hotel was great and gave me 2 free nights to use the next time I came down. When I went to use them they wouldn't except them... horrible customer service with broken windows. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone. The Home 2 Suites is dog friendly and so much nicer I believe it's on 54th street.

I've always have a great time when we go and stay. Me and my family come and stay just to get away from everything

Paid $360 for a Saturday night after I KNOW I was told $300 over the phone prior to booking. But lesson learned... read the rate card carefully and verify $$ upon checking in. $360 is A LOT of money for the quality of room.... old, needs upgrading, no real amenities, Wifi was un-usable and they had to do a full replacement of the AC unit while we were in there. But hey... at least they fixed the problem.

I will say that the table next to us at breakfast on the 8th floor had a HORRIBLE experience but by the time we paid our check I could honestly say that they were probably the type of people you'll NEVER be able to please. Breakfast was very good.

Don't pay over $300/night here because you WILL NOT get what you should expect @ that price. However, I'd surely check out pricing during the off-season as The Fenwick Inn is by no means the worst place to stay in OC.

Fenwick Inn was a nice place to stay. It had friendly and informative receptionists, clean rooms, and a wonderful indoor pool/hot tub. The location is convenient because you could walk to the beach easily!

Dirty pool. Have dogs in hotel. Does not look like what's on the website.

Smell of marijuana throughout hotel on several floors. Management inform and nothing was done about it.

Came here for a week vacation on the beach. Had no intention of spending any time in the room so this place is perfect. Its clean, super friendly staff, and cheap

Beds were clean and comfortable but everything else was either broken or dirty. Bare minimum amenities, very nice staff. No bathroom on ground floor or pool area was insane.

Hallways stunk like wet dog and smoke, pool was nice with the hot tub. Very slippery floor in the pool area.

Way off the main boardwalk, which is good for us but far away from the action. Pool and hot tub are inside and clean. Slight mistake in bed size but they corrected it instantly!

Surprised by the value of this place especially the restaurant. One of the best happy hours in town.

Hotel was nice overall, only complaint was the weird smells in every room and awful service at the rooftop bar.

If you want a cheap get away even if you live 10 minutes away from here I recommend the Fenwick Inn you can bring your pets they have an indoor pool and hot tub a little exercise room. The employees are wonderful here and I always enjoy my stay

We have vacationed in O.C. 5 times in 3 years. This place was great . Check in is at 4pm however Kira had us in our room by 1:30pm..Great rooms. Resteraunt, pool and hot tub area. Extremely clean ..friendly and helpful staff. Would definitely reccomend and return..

The customer service is superb at this location. My first day there, I was pleasantly surprised by the Friendliness of the gentleman at the front desk. We talked about his interest in American literature and his appreciation for the culture as he is from Turkey. The staff went above and beyond to help me! After I checked out and was home, I realized I left my wallet in the room. The staff not only found my wallet, it was mailed to me with everything in it. I had credit cards, my bank card, money , etc. I received my wallet today and I m so grateful to them. I want to personally thank Peter, the general manager, Melissa, the housekeeping manager, Benjamin and another gentleman who answered the phone and ensured my wallet was found. I can t thank you guys enough for your honesty and due diligence in returning my wallet.

It could have been a little cleaner. They were more accomadating when we had a problem. They need to work on bathrooms. Liked the pool area.

Party with the black knights MC, everyone one of them were great folks. Hotel seemed to be very accommodating.

Lots of construction going on. Staff is friendly. Rooms are spacious. Good location.

BUYER BEWARE there is an additional $120 pet fee you are charged ON TOP of the fee you pay for a more expensive pet friendly room that they don t tell you about.

Located in north Ocean City so the location is fairly quiet. We picked it because it allows dogs, but (as which much of Ocean City) there are few places nearby where you can walk your dog. The parking is ample, with a large parking lot in the rest of the hotel.

Great price for the rooms and the pool was pretty good

Drain is slow and water pressure is low. Was not told about luggage cart... A/C works fine, and the microwave in the room is a great bonus. Bed and pillows were fine. I like that the breakfast buffet is such a good deal.

Rooms were dingy. Not very friendly staff. Wasn't very clean

Place stunk like weed.. Very noisy in the hallway.. Complain to the office about the smell and they didn't care.

The whole hotel was just recently renovated. The beds are comfortable. Very, very affordable. The only thing that I didn't like was that the pool wasn't opened during our stay. We saw on the website that they would open back up on the 15th. At the hotel there was a paper that said the 18th, but when we called down to the front desk they said they were waiting on a permit so they couldn't tell us an exact date. They have 24/7 coffee and tea. There is also a little convenience store. They have hygiene products, frozen food, snacks, and ice cream. Didn't but anything so I didn't see how much the stuff was. Overall, I would stay here during off-peak season for the $50-$60/night rates, but definitely not during peak-season due to the fact that the rooms are $150/night+, that wouldn't be worth it.

I love this place the employees are friendly and nice omg!! I love the pool it's nice and warm. This is my second time being here and I brought my grand daughter this time and she loves it yes I will be back I like this Inn because its quite and not loud the only thing I will say is you do have people in there that is smoking weed or cigarettes u can smell it thur the hallway but other then that it's a good Inn to stay in I will be before the summer out I came on Memorial weekend 2020 .. I was here last year in August... I just hope they open the outside stuff up soon ....

There was hair on the bed sheets, no hot water to take showers hot tub was broke .. the only thing we enjoyed was the 360 restaurant and pool...

I ve stayed at this hotel twice now. Both times I have been double billed. Do you do this to all your customers? I hope your customers are checking their bank/credit card accts. Then when I complain, it gets fixed but takes 7-10 days to be refunded. Ridiculous. I travel for a living and stay in many many hotels. There are way too many other hotel options in that area for me to stay at a place where I have to worry about being double billed. Only positive thing I can say is that Benjamin handled my complaint both times with pure grace. He s an asset to your hotel. Keep him.

Stayed there a couple years ago. Great and prompt service. Took care of our needs. The restaurant has great food. Had breakfast there. I would definitely recommend this hotel

This hotel is disgusting, especially during off-season. We witnesses COCKROACHES all over the place! (In our room, on the elevator and coming up from the shower drain) It was the worst experience ever! When we contacted the front desk, they said they "may be coming down from the kitchen/bar area." It was totally unexpected since it is a local hotel located right outside of Fenwick. So, if you are vacationing in Fenwick, stay at the Fenwick Islander, it is SO much better and no bugs!

Let me start by saying the staff was amazing but I cut my stay short .I was talking to one of the staff members I found out that there not even getting hazard pay. You have housekeeping and maintenance going into rooms putting themselves and there family at risk In for what. I know everyone has to work but to put someone in a situation where they can get sick or get a family member is outrageous especially if there not evening getting the pay they should be getting. So to that the Fenwick Inn and the Carousel group should be ashamed of themselves I will not be staying at either hotel again

For the price my only complaint is the unreliable water temperature and pressure.

We have stayed at the Fenwick every year for New Years since 2013. Also stayed during the regular season here and there. We have always enjoyed our stay but had noticed a slow and gradual decline in the appearance, staff and amenities with last year (December 2015) being the worst. We decided we would not be back. But of course when planning for this year I had a change of heart and decided to give them one more chance after looking add the website and receiving a few emails telling us of the changes. We are at the pool now loving it! Our room was clean and well decorated. The bathroom was very clean and the shower and tub have recently been redone. Our only complaint was the not so stellar television but we spend a ton of time at the pool and out doing things, so not too bad for us.

We did not expect to have people in the hall at 1am until 2:30 am yelling and arguing. We had childrebn with us. They need to get their guess uncontrol.

Clean but 7th floor hallway Smells of vomit, showers are amazing, hot tub is hot and the pool is well u guessed it a pool.

Rooms are old and outdated. Fixtures are worn out and the rooms smell musty. I haf an issues with the floor I was staying on. I called down to the desk complaining of people smoking pot. Nothing was done. Very dissatisfied and will never stay there again. Motel 6 is a better option

The send my cotelle has done a lot of renovations. It's clean their beds are comfortable and their prices are right considering they are in ocean city Maryland.
They are dog friendly at a price

The room was descend, the internet was a huge problem. No hot water most of the time. The breakfast buffet was okay. But beside everything are okay

First night, bed is comfortable. Rooms are clean. Pets are allowed so that is a plus. WiFi could be stronger in our room but it has its moments.

Not a good place to stay my husband was bit by bed bugs had to go to DRS for Anabiotic s. The Manager said nothing he can do. Then came up with clam issue about our dog.

Budget location 2 blocks from the beach. Cleanliness leaves more to be desired.

This place is so unprofessional i arrived june 6,2020 3:30pm we didnt get into our room til 5:30ish so we checked out sunday june 7,2020 i called to request a late check out they told me they didnt offer late check out due to short staff in housekeeping so i vacated the room by 11:03am in was charged 71.60 for a late check out i have called the carousel group they gave me fenwick inn main number i then spoke to bonnie who is clueless on the information i need the manager is late a whole hour this place needs to be shut down or hire a better team I would never recommended fenwick inn
