The hotel looks old and worn out. The room was dirty, and the TV stopped working the next morning. It's far too expensive for what it is, but being a block from the beach is likely how they justify the rates. It is dog friendly, which is nice, but there are far nicer dog-friendly hotels to choose from. Not recommended.

Clean, excellent front desk , . I would give it 5 stars but the restaurant and bar are closed on mondays. It closes too early . 9pm. And they only serve breakfast on Saturday and sunday. Pool is big and hot tub is very large.

Reservations is absolutely terrible. Booked, cancelled and needed to rebook for the same date (all within the same hour). Not only did they refuse to refund me, but they told me I had to pay full price. Not to mention the attitude. Terrible for the service industry.

Fenwick Inn is a hotel, with a bar, and a pool. Service was excellent, especially when I needed extra parking passes for additional guests. A little far from everything else in Ocean City, but a nice option for reasonable rates.

We stayed for five nights, but prior to our stay reading the reviews made me a little skeptical. Thankfully we gave it a try because it was a great hotel for the price. We are not very picky people, so the little things did not bother us like the mini fridge was a little outdated as well as the microwave, and the shower curtain was cloth so water just went right threw to the other side. If you can get over those little minor things, your stay will be worth every penny. Our room was very clean, all the staff was very professional and polite, and all of their accommodations were very much helpful for a week stay away from home. It was close enough to everything, 5 minute walk to the beach, 24 hour bus to get everywhere in OCMD was right in front of the hotel so you did not have to worry about transportation. The bar/restaurant on the top floor was very nice and convenient. I will definitely be back and will recommend to all who stay in this area!

Though the room looked generally clean the experience as a whole was not good. The room smelled like cigarettes upon entering, we asked for a different room but that one smelled equally as bad. The hallways all smell bad too. Bath tub didn't drain well. Staff wasn't very competent or informative. Overall wouldn't choose to stay here again. For the price they are charging nothing was up to par.

Awesome breakfast/brunch buffet at a great price. Fresh cooked eggs the way you like them, Belgium waffles made in front of you. So much food to choose from, nobody in your party will go hungry!!!!

Wonderful hotel, perfect for our family budget and as long as you're not expecting a luxury hotel its wonderful. The beach is right there. There's so many places within walking distance. Parking is plentiful. Can't say enough how wonderful all the staff is. Thank you!

I am sad to say that this was a terrible experience. I have stayed here before and it was fine, however, this time was quite opposite. We were treated extremely poorly by Corey, the front desk manager. After seeing the status of our rooms, we attempted to talk to him to get the rooms cleaned appropriately and to CDC guidelines. Instead, we were told to leave. There was blood on sheets, food crumbs in the bed sheets, floors that were not vacuumed, a toilet that was not functioning properly. After trying to talk to him multiple times, he continued to refuse to do anything at all. We even called the police to file a report. We will also be following up with a report to MD health department.

For the price, it was a good value. Staff were friendly and helpful. We did ask to change rooms the first night because we could hear everything in the other room as if the TV were on in our room and the kids' boisterousness came right through the wall as well, but they let us move with no problems. Bathroom sink overflow hole was quite dirty. Tub/shower were very low-end. Bed was fine. No views but a good location otherwise. Pool seemed popular but we never made it to try. Eighth floor bar seemed nice but we just took a look because we didn't have time to stay.

Just a walk away from the Ocean. Great breakfast buffet to start the day, the hotel is dated but i think they started to renovate. Fire alarm at 1am when off. That was fun! Oh! there's a pool which seems to be appreciated by the parents :)

The night we checked in the front desk woman was rude and unhelpful because she had just been dealing with a complaint that someone else who had just checked in found hair everywhere within their room. In the bathroom, bed etc. Then they tried to charge us extra for a room i didn't book, then tried to take an additional charge out without my knowledge and the only reason i was informed was by my bank they thought someone had taken my card. Our toilet started leaking the first day to the point that our floor was soaked. Only positive note was the maintenance man fixed our leak quickly and we had no further issues and the one front desk woman we dealt with Gabby was helpful and friendly. Also while we were there another woman had checked in with her children to have the same thing happen to her, extra charges and associates who didn't care to try and help. 2 day stay ended up being almost 7 hundred dollars for 2 beds one room. And the second room I had "booked" I was never given a key to or had any access to. (Although I'm pretty sure we paid for it)

There are 8 floors in the building with the lobby being in the 1st floor of course along with a pool. A restaurant of some kind is located 8th floor but I've never actually went so far so I cannot tell what it is like. In between those floors are the guest rooms which do not possess a kitchen area inside them unless it's a king suite you've booked.

Overall a decent hotel for the money. Things were clean and tidy. AC and heat nice in room. Parking was safe and secure. My only complaints are, Breakfast is not free. Its $15 a person and honestly not worth it at all. Very greasy cheap food and poor service. Pool hours are a bit lousy for the average person on vacation. The pool and hot tub close at 10pm everynight. 11-12 would be better, not like it costs the hotel anymore. They don't employ a lifeguard. Overall, not a bad hotel but I will be finding another hotel with free breakfast and better pool hours to stay in next year

Our stay was very good. The room was clean and comfortable... however, when we arrived back home my wife realized she left a very meaningful bracelet on the night stand that must have fallen off between the bed. She called in a panic the next day and the front desk said they would check with housekeeping. After no response, she called back again and They said housekeeping didn't say they found it and the room was rented, so no more effort to look cause the housekeeping cleans the rooms thoroughly. I called back later that evening hoping that maybe the room was empty or someone could attempt to look in the exact location we were asking but sucks to be us cause housekeeping doesn't answer phones and heaven forbid that someone from the front desk be willing to call the room, knock on the door or otherwise say excuse me but a guest lost a sentimental piece of jewelry in this room. I know it's our fault for leaving it behind but it would be nice if people could fake a little concern or pretend to have some honest integrity!

If I could select 0 stars I would. I have had the worst experience dealing with fenwick! They are absolutely careless for people, the only thing that matters to them is the income regardless of how they have to scam it from people. They were extremely rude and unprofessional on the phone and could not get a manager to return my call. I would never recommend a company like this to anyone and will be filing with the better business bureau in regards to my experience and claim. Good luck to all who choose this hotel, motel, or whatever they consider it.

This is an older hotel. The hotel is 8 floors, with the top floor having the bar and restaurant. There is a pool with jacuzzi located on the first floor. We stayed in a 2 full size bed which is average sized for a hotel. They include fridge and microwave for customer use. The hotel though Is very old and the bathroom has Mold and there is a crack on the floor in the shower. The missing fan in the bathroom may have been some of the reason for the mold.

Would not recommend this hotel.

Great rooms with soft clean beds. A really nice bar/restaurant on the rooftop with a beautiful view of both the ocean and Ocean city. The only thing that keeps this from getting 5 stars from me is... The pool closes at 10pm. Why close at all? There's never a lifeguard anyway. And the bar closes early too. Not as early as the pool but it closes quite a while before most other bars do. Imagine this if you will. You've been driving all day to get to the hotel. And you finally check in, head to your room for a nice shower and a lil nap. You wake up and fancy a dip in the pool for a few laps then up to the bar for a night cap. You get changed and head to the pool. You get there and its closed. Number... Oh well there's always tomorrow. So yo head up to the bar. And when you step off the elevator you see its closed too. Frustrated now you decide this place stinks and you then leave to find a bar that's open. And after a few minutes of driving you settle for Pickle's. A decent bar in town, but quite a distance between it and your hotel. But who cares right. So you order a drink, then a another and another. Your kinda lit now. Your frustration is gone and now you wanna hit the pillow. So out to your car you go. You get a few miles down the road when you see that the OCPD have a Drunk driver checkpoint set up. And you get pulled over. And after a few questions and a breathalyzer test you are then arrested for DUI. Your going to spend the night in jail. All because your hotel pool and bar close early...

Comfy beds, all of the staff any of us encountered...

Comfy beds, all of the staff any of us encountered was extremely cheerful (there's a pandemic, these people are essential, and not only happy in general, but happy to serve me and my family while we are on a mini vacation because I'm selfish and insisted on coming DURING A GLOBAL PANDEMIC) and no matter what time it was, they were here to help. there are signs posted EVERYWHERE around the building about social distancing and YOU MUST MASK UP. Loved that thepool area has a gated outdoor area, but doesn't look like a prison yard like some places. i keep seeing people complaining about their room not being done when they arrived. ours was done however, i did notice the one day we went to the beach (wich is like a 4 min walk, no boardwalk bustle, not crowded, and theres an umbrella stand right as you walk up) housekeeping was in the hall that morning (I ASKED FOR TOWELS AND LINENS, AND THEY GAVE THEM TO ME WITH NOT ONE ISSUE AND TOLD ME WHERE TO PUT THE OTHERS. THE WOMAN DID NOT TOUCH THEM WICH MADE ME HAPPY WITH HER BEING CONSCIOUS OF GERMS) and still when we got back like 5 hours later. I can see how that may irritate some... but well theres a pandemic. i would rather wait longer for the place to be cleaned, than to be thrown into someone else's filth. anywho.. this isn't the ritz, they do not claim to be. they have a 2 star rating which in my opinion should be upped for customer service alone. oh. we also extended our stay once here, and it was no issue at all. ample parking, close to shops, food, fun, (theres mini golf thats open til midnight like 10 feet away, sunsations is 2 doors down and have auper cheap souvenirs, wawa is less than 10 mins away, crab place directly across the street, rib house a few blocks down, SEACRETS is on the bus line and less than a 15 min drive)and much much more . Truly, while my kids are kids, i doubt I will ever stay at a boardwalk hotel again after finding this place! see you guys next year! thanks so much for re opening and accommodating my family!

ps. i literally made my reservations THE SAME DAY WE CAME, and added more time the day before we were to leave. again, not one single issue.

I'll give this place 4 stars. To walk to the beach for this price is lovely. It has what you want and it is what it is. The breakfast buffet (not included with rate, but reasonable) is bountiful. The staff is friendly. The indoor pool is decent and there's an outdoor area to sunbathe as well. Yes, I'd like there to be an outdoor pool and for it to be right in the beach, but again, you can't get those things for this price. It is way down OC (139th St.), so it's not boardwalk area but it has plenty of activities close by. Parking has not been a problem. Once, the main lot was full, but there's extra in the back. All good. Maid service on point. Good hotel, great rate, good locale. Book it!

Such a nice hotel. Clean and very nice pool for kids and adults. Only downside was I did request a crib and was guaranteed that but when I checked in the crib was not available . They told me that some people have rebooked and they did not have any extra cribs. But besides that, everything else was great. Would stay again.

I'm thankful I got to bring my dog. I'm used to 3 stars hotels and will stick to that. Our rooms were outdated and initially looked clean. I always inspect my room wherever I go. The one bed sheet was inside out which made me believe it was dirty. I found stains on the sheets or blankets which I wasn't sure if they were new or old some looked dingy. I used my towel n found blonde hair on me which I wasn't sure where that came from. It is in walking distance to the beach n other places. We prefer king or queen but double standard was the only size they had. The table n chair were flimsy but worked. Just didn't want it to break n we get blamed for it. We didn't use the pool but my cousin did n felt like people were letting other people come in because they didn't have keys and they would have to get out of the pool to let them in. This happened often. We asked the girl to clean our bathroom n run the sweeper because we were still in there n she act like she did clean the bathroom but didn't. We stayed here because of the dog but if I had to again I wouldn't. If your ok with some out dated stuff than this place is for you.

Pros: The location is nice
Cons: People at the desk were extremely rude. Room wasnt cleaned very well (There was used pillows in the corner of the room when we walked in). No masks. Hallways and elevators stunk like Marijuana most of my stay.
I personally wouldn't stay here again.

Centrally located. A lot of good shops and restaurants within walking distance. Small bathrooms, inappropriate guests in pool, not hotels fault other than no monitoring of this behavior from staff(which should be done, considering kids)
