In 2019, the hotel was completely renovated and turned into a better hotel.

The room is very useful.
All outlets have USB and the bedside clock also has wireless charging and bluetooth speaker.

The pool is stylish and there is not only a swimming pool but also a pool for children.
Both the spa and Singapore are top class hotels, with jacuzzi baths, saunas, steam saunas and water baths.

I have been using this hotel for 7 years.
The staff will say "Welcome back" every time I arrive at this hotel.
This hotel is my second home.
All staff are gentle and provide great service.

Impressed and comfortable stay as can be expected ...

Impressed and comfortable stay as can be expected from Fairmont. Very nice and helpful staff from door man to front and mostly everyone I have met, and that met the 'Feel welcome'. Were upgraded to king corner room which comes with more space, two side of almost ceiling to floor window, bathroom with shower and tub, and little living area with sofa and table. Superb location in the same building of Raffles city and swissotel the stamford, share some facilities like fitness, spa, and restaurants together with the shopping mall at your feet! Shops and restaurants are all around, Chijmes, Marina square, suntec city, and more are in walking dista ce. Nearest subway station is city hall. Return customer and will do for the next time.

Staff rude and unfriendly. Staff wanted to change our booking to smaller room! Ridiculous! In the end we demanded what we booked for. Can you tell me how to sleep 2 adults and 2 kids in a queen size bed? The staff have no common sense! And is rude!!!!!

Was there for a wedding, and did not realized that...

Was there for a wedding, and did not realized that we could have access to the ballroom from Raffles City shopping center, and the reception was kind enough to point that out for future references. Also offered me a chair when I was waiting for my ride since I was injured and was on crutches

A group of us had dinner at Prego which is an Italian restaurant. We had pizzas, lasagna and spaghetti. The food was served warm within 20 mins and it was really good! One must try side is their bread which is free flow and mix well with the cream side or even the balsamic vinegar. Of course, the last must try dessert will be the tiramisu cake!

Will be suing this hotel soon, but thought of penning my thoughts here first.

Now, if humility goes a long way in getting anything done right, then it apparently stops right at the doorstep of fairmont. There was a service related concern which gave me cause to speak with the manager, who promptly called me the following day. To be honest, I had relented quite a bit by then, and had said i wanted no further action taken. that manager (Macarena) gave me her cell phone number and encouraged me to call or text her for any other clarifications needed. a while later, i decided to take her up on the offer and did--just that. I simply told her that, while i do not want anyone fired for the egregious incidents from the night before, I would have liked to at least just hear that waitress' side of the story.

A few things transpired thereafter which are, i don't know, way more deplorable than the original issue.

She essentially ignored my request--and when i finally spoke with the FNB assistant director, he flat out accused me on the phone of 'playing semantical games', and that i should not waste his time etc. etc. (???)
Finally, I made a personal trip down to the hotel--i had told concierge that i would like to speak with the relevant people, and that i would be waiting for them at the bar area. the next thing i knew, 2 security guards (I don't know their names, but the one has an extremely poke-holed face, and the other was a bit oversized) accosted me. immediately, they served me a PERSONA NON GRATA, demanded that I leave the premises or else they will call the police... which they eventually did.

i understand that legally, they have sole prerogative to issue that to anyone, even for no reason at all. but the short end of it is that, essentially, the management of this hotel is one that does not seem to able to tolerate any kind of negative feedback... and not only that, when you press them even in the slightest, they essentially pull out all the stops to throw you out simply to shut you up.

I will be suing them for sure, once i settle the false police report they made (the most ridiculous thing is that, they even cited on the PNG that they are throwing me out for the reason of 'not leaving when told'--something that only happened after I was served the notice!!) one other thing: when they confronted me, they kept on asking me-- "how can you call for any one to be fired?" (which i did after the fnb director completely ran roughshod over me on the phone), and also, "who are you to tell what is right or wrong?" so clearly, they are obviously pissed at me simply for the fact that I complained--nevermind what really is right or wrong. in fact, they even carried that so far as to claim to the police that i 'harassed' their employees by simply following up on my feedback.
but the only other thing i want to point out is this: if i didn't know any better, i would have thought that they are throwing me out unceremoniously for alleged 'harassment'.

Yet, if that were really the case, the question is: how come they dare not even put that on the PNG? (and instead had to settle with the lamest 'refusing to leave'). this can only mean one thing: even they must know how cynical this whole thing is (PNG's are in permanent font whereas police reports are confidential--they have cart blanche to say whatever they want with impunity)--even if just on the off chance of getting me into maximum trouble.

We are here now. Great room. Large, with wonderful views. Comfy bed. Best toiletries offering I have ever seen. Fabulous shower. Bad part: No place to plug in your hairdryer in the bathroom. No other mirrors or space to style your hair anywhere else in the room. Terrible mood lighting throughout. No decent lighting where there IS a full length mirror. How is a person supposed tp get dressed, put on makeup and get ready fpr their day without sufficient lighting and place to plug in a hairdryer with a mirror?? That s ridiculous! These hotels need to hire WOMEN to learn how to accommodate people!!!!

Not worth the price...didn't get any 5star service...

Not worth the price...didn't get any 5star service...waited for hr in taxi queue...no welcome drink or cold towels nor fresh fruits in room..rooms were pretty small with a huge mini bar in the middle of room...we were celebrating anniversary but no special treatment nor any special treatment for families traveling with young kids

Bed is nice. Bathroom is nice. 1) pillows not good, I got suffer stiffneck and my wife also said Is the pillow issue. She said luckily got bathroom tower is more comfortable then pillow and she throw her pillow to me and she slept with bathroom tower. Take note no carpark complimentary for staycation.

Great location and service. Years ago, I was coming to Singapore from India on a red eye. I managed to get a little internet in Chennai, and emailed the main customer service address for the hotel group to let them know I'd be arriving early and would appreciate if my room was ready. When I arrived at 8am, they came out to meet me in the taxi and whisked me up to my room. Somehow my email made its way from corporate to the Singapore team, and they were ready for me. Stellar guest experience, customer for life. This hotel is always fairly priced given the location and the level of service. Also, they have balconies and you can open your door to the air, which is a rare and wonderful thing at high end hotels these days.

I love Fairmont hotels. All over the world they give you a level of service that is outstanding. The staff at this hotel were very hospitable and accommodating. From check in to check out, my stay was amazing. Thank you for being you Fairmont hotels and staff.

Very nice hotel with the exceptional service. They have two breakfast buffets: one (more casual) by the pool, another on in Prego restaurant. The one in Prego is epic. The hotel is close to everything, could not think of a better location. I recommend getting a room on a higher floor and enjoy amazing views

We are planning a big dinner at the Fairmont and were very disappointed that they are not accessibility-friendly. I found it hard to believe that they do not have wheelchair ramps for their Stamford ballroom stage!

Nice and classy hotel located in the heart of Sing...

Nice and classy hotel located in the heart of Singapore. There are three MRT lines, East-West, (Green), North-South (Red) and Circle (Orange) within the hotel's vicinity. Hotel is equipped with a nice spa and gym facilities. Raffles City Convention Centre is located within the same compound as the hotel as this makes it a suitable accommodation option for convention goers.

Wonderful services and friendly staff, we were very impressed by the hotel s facilities and our beautiful room, not to mention the view overlooking the Marina Bay and theatres right in front of our balcony from 17th floor. We like to thank specially Mr Rooston Alh at the front desk for his courteous and excellent services!
