Fairmont Makati Review

Good location, service and selection of breakfast buffet as well as very accommodating staff. Luggage was delivered late though, had to ask them for it after waiting for it for a while. Bellman might have forgotten it as the hotel was fully booked? Haha

We visited the place during the Birthday of my wife (FEB 2018) around lunch time. I remember suddenly that this was a better experience over-all compare to our recent dinner in another hotel in the area.

Great experience staying at Fairmont Makati - the service was good but was informed however they had some form of a no 'Filipino' policy in terms of communication which I found very odd at reception. Amenities were great for a business trip with facilities that allowed you to unwind. Rooms seemed surprisingly aged for such a modern hotel, but everything was clean and the high ceilings gave the room a very nice ambience.

Location of the hotel is unbeatable right in-between Greenbelt and Glorietta in the heart of Makati. Felt safe walking around within this part of the CBD, with overpasses providing safe crossings

Restaurant on ground floor had varied options, and were very kind to accommodate my request for courtesy call to my room when accompanying colleagues arrived for reservation.

Swimming pool was under clean any thing els it,s very nice

The well-known hotel brand Fairmont here also holds the brand. Everything is on top, thoughtfully, conveniently, beautifully. Spacious comfortable rooms in good condition. Great location. Across the road are lots of different cafes and restaurants. Kaifovo to pool by the pool. There is a cool atmospheric bar in the lobby, beautiful jazz is played and it's always nice to sit here. PS: from the shortcomings: in the room I did not find a spoon for shoes, a rag for her and in the toilet there is no brush. Of course, I understand everything, it s not the tsar s business to get their hands dirty, but to call the butler each time in order to brush off the dust or clean the toilet before going out is also an so-so idea.

Very Bad experience during 4 nights stay at this property . Housekeep not up to mark ... flooding in the bathing area ... no coffee mugs lepta in room for first 3 nights and then finally I reminded them. And worst was in breakfast they put Ham in food and said it was a mistake as ham got mixed with the veggies. Don t expect this from Fairmont ...

Best hotel experience I've ever had. We booked a cheap-ish room here and they upgraded us to the Raffels next door. No idea why. Very kind of them, it made our holiday.

Top notch customer service, with extremely friendly and helpful staff. From the moment I landed, there were people trying to help me with the luggage and directions and such.

Free fruit plate delivered to the room, which was an interesting touch. The mango was great!

Rooms and spacious and very well designed. Comfortable beds and large bathrooms.

The best part for me was the Le Labo bathroom accessories. Smells and feels so good! I had to ask for an extra moisturizing cream for my toiletry bag lol.

As long as it isn't too expensive, I'll try to stay here on my future visits.

The hotel is clean and one of the newer ones in Makarti. The rooms are well maintained and F&B options are also very complete within the establishment.

The Gold Lounge has an excellent library with a good collection of books, mainly in English covering natural history, economics, business, science and Tech, philosophy and history. Also Philippines books and picture books. There is an excellent buffet from 5-7 and decent breakfast. The service is exceptional - deadly competent and super friendly. Great gym and jacuzzi. Rooms are well laid out, comfortable and maintained. Check-in and checkout very well run.

It s a great hotel however hotels in the Philippines overall are not on par with the rest of Asia.

I wish security checkpoint outside would warmly greet you and direct you where to go. Not everyone knows where to go. I also wish that they would tell you if i need to validate my parking ticket.

I love the ambiance of this place. The Spectrum restaurant is really a nice place if you want to eat an exquisite kind of dish. I love how they serve one plate per order.

Before you walk inside the restaurant you will have to sign up for health declaration form and then ask for your temperature.

Overall I'm satisfied of their service.

Had an issue with noise (ongoing construction). They happily reaccomodated us to another room and sent these macarons as a token of apology. It's a great location if you are looking to shop and dine out.

The afternoon tea in Fairmont Lounge is something that everyone should try.

Luxury hotel in an amazing location near Landmark and Greenbelt mall area with tons of restaurants and nightlife. Facility has a great gym, pool, lobby and service and the breakfast buffet is worth it!

We had a whole day seminar in one of the function rooms of the Fairmont Hotel. The facilities are great, the staff very attentive. Our chicken lunch was a bit dry(over cooked) but the taste was good.

This hotel is an excellent place to stay in Makati. It exceeded our expectations. Great customer service, nice clean rooms, wonderful amenities and a great location, as it is near many businesses, malls, banks and restaurants. We reserved the Gold Room Package and this has more perks than a standard reservation, i.e. lounge access, daily happy hour (unlimited drinks, anyone?) and an extra service at the spa with a spa purchase. It is worth the extra price and I highly recommend it.

The staff at all levels are professional, courteous and friendly, in the lobby, at the restaurants, at the entrance and at housekeeping duties. My only concern is that one day I asked for change with lots of paper money (Saturday morning, 3/23 at 6 am, in the lobby) and the woman behind the desk counted the money to herself then handed me the bulk of it without counting it in front of me for both our benefits. I changed money there and at the Gold Lounge and everyone counted the money to me after counting it to themselves. In addition, I used to work at financial institutions and this is standard practice. This hotel rep should receive additional training. Aside from that incident, everyone was exceptional. Special recognition to John and Angelo at the Gold Lounge. Sarah at the reception desk was very good at greeting us upon arrival, guiding us to the Gold Lounge for expedited check in. Thanks to the Fairmont staff!

There are many great places to stay in Makati and the Fairmont is easily one of the best. You will not be disappointed.

Great place, fantastic service, in the same building as the Mistral rooftop bar.

Not difficult getting a Grab, and if that fails it's usually possible to get a hotel car on short notice.

Stayed here on a business trip. Excellent customer service as expected of a 5-star hotel. Good amenities, outdoor pool not heated but isn't too cold for Manila weather. Strategic location as it is walking distance to various shopping malls (Greenbelt, Glorietta). Highly recommended for a short stay in Manila.

The hotel has an excellent location, situated just beside the Glorietta Mall Complex and nearby SM mall, Landmark and the upscale Greenbelt Malls. Rooms are nicely designed and spacious plus room service is amazing.

All staffs from traffic and parking aide to security to concierge to event support are all courteous and helpful. Superb.

Staff at the pool/gym desk was very rude. Also, check in is at 2..room wasn t ready.. tv doesn t work!

Great ambiance, decent size rooms (especially the suite), great toiletries (le Labo). The staffs are great and accommodating. Food in spectrum could improve a little bit more but over all, very happy with fairmont. Definitely a nice hotel if you are in the area.

Located near Greenbelt and The Landmark shopping mall. Lots of restaurants at Greenbelt. Hotel breakfast at Spectrum has good variety except the porridge and coffee ordered not hot enough.

Nice hotel located in the heart of business district

Quite New hotel with good trained staff. Pool is rather small. Rooms are large and well equipped. Breakfast selection is good. Not much restaurants to choose but since its just next to Greenbelt, that's not a major concern.
