Excellent staff and facility. Great communication from pre to post op. Had a tonsillectomy done here and was very nervous as this was my first surgery. After arriving I barely waited for anything. Had a consult with the surgeon and anesthesiologist to go over any concerns. The anesthesiologist even got me something for anxiety which helped calm me. Before I knew it I was awake and on my way home. They even call to check in on you the next day. Very happy with this facility. Highly recommend!

Both of my boys had surgery here and I must say, I am vary impressed. The gentleman on the second floor that receives patients is one of the kindest gentlemen I ve ever met, and all of the nurses, anesthesiologists, and medical techs were extremely friendly and knowledgeable. They really made us feel comfortable and informed every step of the way. The pediatric play room waiting area is also fantastic. Highly recommend this surgical center! And Dr. Murray is an absolute wonder to work with! Highly skilled pediatric otolaryngologist with excellent bedside manner! Very pleased with both of our experiences that far exceeded any expectations.

It's hard to talk about "surgical procedures" with a smile but I have to say that my 1 year olds' experience was very un climatic which is a good thing here. The staff was fantastic. We were well informed of what was going on and had aside from parent worry not a lot anxiety. Thank you for what could have been a very tough situation for our child and making it as easy as humanly possible

Incompetent nurse told me to show up at 5:15 am. I woke up at 3:30 am to go there and realize the place doesn t open till 6 am and the idiot misspoke. Then they lost power and lacked a sufficient generator to run the place so we had to wait till 10 when the power came back. Then after getting prepped for surgery I was told the room wasn t cool enough for surgery so i had to wait additional several hours while starving, tired, dehydrated and in pain. The doctors that perform surgery there are partners and have financial interest in you going there that s why they force you to go to this hell hole rather than a legitimate medical facility. If I ever hear a doctor say this is where they do surgery, I ll switch doctors and go see a competent medical professional instead.

They schedule everybody at the same time and make you wait all day.

I had septoplasty surgery on Feb 21 at this facility and I was very pleasantly surprised by the center itself and the efficiency of the staff. From the front desk to the medical staff, everyone went out of their way to be welcoming to me and explaining every step of the way. Obviously, staff is acutely aware that patients are anxious and don t do surgery for a hobby and that these occasions are stressful.
The center offers comfortable seating both downstairs at the initial checki-in as well as upstairs where the surgical suites are located. Doctors and nurses were incredibly positive, friendly and went out of their way to ease my anxiety. I m graced with an excellent ENT and he and his surgery staff were outstanding. I recommend having outsurgery done at Fairfax Surgery Center to anyone without hesitation. Kudos to all the people I saw that day. You made this experience a lot easier for me. Thank you for that!!

My husband had successful surgery at Fairfax Surgical Center. The entire team took care of all our needs and were a perfect guide through the entire process.

Watch out for questionable practices related to billing. Check your bills carefully. Doctors each own a piece of this business. My surgery was preapproved by insurance and Fairfax Surgical Center made me pay what was not covered before I could have surgery. They said nothing else would be due. Several weeks went by and I was shocked to receive a bill for more money. After many phone calls to center and to doctors office I found out that a code had been switched this code then caused more money to be due. Code was changed for no reason. Both codes meant the samething. They appreared to change it to get more money from me and insurance company. I am still fighting it.

Just found out the same thing happened to my mother-in-law. She is on Medicare. Surgery was preapproved, Fairfax Surgical Center said nothing else would be due. Now 3 weeks after surgery they are trying to charge her $525 more.

I was at Fairfax Surgical Center yesterday for a minor procedure to my foot. Before my procedure they were in contact with me to answer all of my procedural and financial questions which was very helpful. Once I got there I was extremely impressed with how efficient their operations were and how friendly all of the staff was. I was really anxious as this was my first surgery in 15 years or so but was reassured and taken well care of by all of the doctors and nurses on-site. I really appreciate everyone who tended to me and would highly recommend this facility.

The receptionist up stairs was rude.
But everyone else were absolutely amazing.

This place had very friendly staff but inside was like stepping into the past. The lights throughout the building were old and off color. I would hff have felt much better spending so much in a place that atleast appeared to be properly maintained.

Avoid this place. Totally unprofessional and careless. Staff don't know what each other do or contradict guidance given to patients and their family. They do not take responsibility for their inept handling. They cancel at the last minute after sitting on patient information for days/may be weeks. If you worry about your health, go somewhere else where patients come first.

I just completed cataract surgery on both eyes. It was an amazing experience; of course first and foremost is the clarity of my vision. I have worn glasses /contacts since early childhood, so seeing without either is miraculous. Although success of the surgery was a priority, excellent staff performance was equally important to me. I'd like to commend the efficiency, professionalism and friendliness of the entire staff, both at Capital Eye Consultants , as well as The Fairfax Surgical Center,. Every doctor, technician, and office staff employee was helpful, caring, and sincere.
