It is a very good hotel, close to the sants train station, excellent location, very easy to get around the city or make transfers to the airport or nearby cities.

This hotel was what expected by looking at the reviews. I would rate it a 3.5 star hotel. The pool was a lot smaller than the picture on the hotel's website and it was quite cold. Though I was impressed that the hotel listened to the reviews and added more lawn chairs. There was no issue of ever getting one for us. The rooms were narrow and long and a big musky smelling but running the air seemed to help.

It is a shame the status of the 4th floor room for the price they cover

We were in the hotel for a convention and the truth is that we liked, the service, the attention of the staff and the catering that we got to eat. Maybe the only thing I did not like too much was the coffee, but in general the facilities are light and clean comfortable

Good breakfast, clean and organized, staff very kind.

I have been in this hotel for four days and I did not like the hotel. I do not recommend it because the mattresses on the bed are narrow and feel the springs. The apartment is also dirty and the drawer has broken up and some things were not right.

It is great, the treatment of the staff is great, thank you very much for your attention.

Really not a four star but that being said it's a solid 3 . Staff super friendly and couldn't be more helpful. Free WiFi throughout which is a nice touch. Cool rooftop bar although the pool was shut. Would have been better if the website had let us know.

The un-refurbished rooms are a bit tired but we were offered an upgrade. For a price...not really worth it.

The air con was very effective and the noise from the street was fine.

We opted out of the breakfast (many places nearby) so can't comment. Good location, close to the station but a bit out of the tumult of main Barca.

Over-priced. Room with basic facilities and similar to a B & B hotel. Not up to 4-star standard.

I turned on the heater because there was a heat/air conditioner button, but when I asked the air conditioner there was no heat function, but it seemed to be broken.
Room is rather cramped. Wi-Fi disconnected well.
Friendly staff. Breakfast is delicious. There is a subway nearby, so it is good to go to sightseeing spots. Delicious Indian restaurant in front.

I was disappointed with the half board disruption which turned out to be a real buffala. cold and inedible food. no one who understands you and not to say that the rooms depicted do not correspond to those of the published photos. entry from four stars but all the rest is worth two. for the price you pay you will certainly find it much better

One m ... a terrace full of guiris drinking like Cossacks and three waiters who did not find out anything, nor we just had dinner, they served us a burguer (it was not worth anything) and my partner did not even arrive after waiting 45 minutes. ... ask three times for the account and finally get up to pay at the bar. Recommended if you want to put on bad milk!

The treatment of the staff towards the clients is unbeatable. The facilities are spacious. The atmosphere is cozy.

You have to admit that paying 56 euros for a four-star is great and if the mattress springs were not stuck on top of you, it would be the last night. I woke up completely sore and the train-hotel shower did not help improve the experience. The rest very well ... but what you are looking for in a hotel is rest.

All common areas after renovation look neat, hall, bathrooms, reception, etc. Convenient location. Tasty and hearty breakfasts. Bathrooms in the rooms spacious and comfortable, balcony and a nice view from it. A room the size of a prison cell and similarly equipped, only suitable for sleeping, the biggest minus. Reception staff very slow. They ordered us a taxi, after 15 minutes they came to say that the bus would not be there and that they would order a normal one, after another 15 minutes they came to say that there would be no taxi and that we would go to the hotel to catch on our own. They knew you were sleeping at the airport.

Very central location a minute from the metro 10 minutes walk from Espanya Square, excellent service

If you value your sleep don't bother staying here. The walls are paper thin so you can hear everything that's going on in the rooms beside you and above you. I don't usually mind a bit of noise but at 4am it starts to get a bit unbearable. You can also hear everything going on in the street even with the balcony doors closed. The highlight of our stay was when we were awoken by a bunch of drunk teens outside singing Rick Astley - Never Gona Give You Up at the top of there lungs. As I lay in bed thinking, is this a real life rick roll? My advice would be to definitely give up on the the Expo Hotel.

Hotel cleanliness was reasonable, there was some noise coming from the other rooms ... the friendliness is not strong either ... we had to pay the stay right at check in (for me it should be all paid at check out) ... a little far from the center and is in a place that I consider a bit dangerous ...

Structure and furniture a little dated. Perhaps excessively small pool.
They are very helpful, pleasant pool and terrace. Possibility to relax and leave your bags in the hall.

Absolutely unacceptable that this Hotel doesn't have a gym. The breakfast are good , but with a lower variety, Some details with the people who make the cleaning, environment friendly amenities, good point. Not all the personal of the lobby are kind, the majority has bad education, unacceptable too. Remarkable: closer to Barcelona Sants station and tarragona. And the restorant in front is amazing

EXPO hotel barcelona is a nice and large hotel located centrally in barclona. The hotel has 24/7 reception staff and the staff is very nice and helpful. There is more activity and live in the hotel in summer than in winter, you can use the swimming pool and bar on the roof only in summer, then they are closed in autumn and winter.
Hotel is only 2 minutes from sants train and metro station where you can take metro for all of barcelona and train to most cities in spain.
Overall rating is fine, but the hotel needs a bit of upgrading.

I arrived late at night, but it was easy to understand because I saw the building of the hotel name as soon as I went to the taxi stand of Sants Station.
There is a big supermarket next to the hotel, which is convenient.

I think it would have been better if the outlet was next to the bed.

When I moved the chair of the room, it made a sound on the floor quite a bit, and the sound of the other rooms also made it.

The hallway was dim, and it was the corner room at the very end, but after opening the key of the room, the inside of the room was dark, and it was difficult to see where the key was inserted.

There were pot and refrigerator and was convenient, and there were only two water bottles on the first day.

The only thing that is not bad here is breakfast. Old hotel with old furniture. Nevertheless, it's pretty clean and has good location.

Windows and walls are poorly isolated. You can hear conversations on the corridor clearly and the construction work across the road. Such a turn off.

Place very well connected with metro station, tourist bus and taxis. The Hotel really is not a big deal. But the very friendly staff

Inexpensive hotel with a reasonable value for money.

Very nice bar and restaurant. Has a nice pool and lounge area at the top of the building. The rooms had air conditioning and heating The sockets were a bit loose but they worked.

Home cold room very veillote, shower impossible to manage (we were 3 and we all galore and wasted a lot of water, not cool #ecology). For a 4 star we are very far!

If you can avoid it, do not stay at this hotel! I had never seen a 4 star hotel with such old and neglected rooms. I'm surprised that in the evaluation of Google go from 3. Dirty walls, door frames peeling, an old bathroom with bad smell, uncomfortable bed and pillows. It has nothing good!

Great place to stay. Friendly staff and very helpful. Upon my arrival I left my phone in one the local taxis and the hotel did everything to ensure I received my phone back. Very grateful. Thank you x

The room on the 9th floor is unpleasantly loud from the restaurant on top.

Small room, poorly appointed with old-fashioned decoration. Hotel very noisy, unworthy of a 4 *. Only the comfort of the bed and the quality of the breakfast are correct. I do not recommend it.

The only good thing is the location, walking distance from train station. Since we arrived late at night and only stay one night, so I picked this hotel. But the room is nothing as I expected. very outdated, looks dirty and bathroom is not clean either, worse than motel. my room on 9th floor looked like an unfinished room, I suspected that room not suppose to rent out. so disappointed...

Room had a smell. Room size is good, bed is comfortable, and amenities are nice. Room decor is very minimal and basic. Hotel location is also good within walking distance of shops, restaurants, and mass transit.

Very noisy! Cars, bikes, sirens, people in the next room - you can hear everything. You can also hear them moving the chairs as marble (?) Floors. And hear them walking. Room is ok, not the cleanest. Definitely not a 4-star hotel in my opinion location was good. Would I stay again - only if no other was available to stay.

Selected as it is very close to railway station. Clean up and tidy however didn't control very loud American women when asked to close to midnight.
