The service received excellent, we arrived very late and the receptionist was very friendly. The room clean and very comfortable. Modern
Cleanliness The place is very well located, close to the metro and the train station.
A somewhat old but clean hotel and good staff near the station of Sant
I love it mostly because it is close to several places to see the subway nearby and the views of impressive montblanc. Impeccable site somewhat old the rooms but muu comfortable
Good Hotel Near to the Metro Station & Local shopping mall...
Dissapoint it!! They over chargue me. I paid for a triple room with balcony, and they gave me a double bed!! Bad customer service!!
Friday in the forums that you think is the truth is not everything for your attention one day at home
good hotel On the outside it is a bit old, the first impression is very normal compared to the one on the side. Very kind personal. Pretty good for the price.
As for 4 stars, I would give 2, neatly clean but without food madness
Good spaces for group events and terrace with beautiful views of the city
In fact, there is a lot of need for renovation in the hotel. The chairs were read through, the beds worn out Basically everything is functional, the breakfast was good and the pool bar on the roof was a sensation. The location is also great.
We celebrated the company dinner was pretty good all ...
Conveniently located which is important because in Barcelona it just will not get boring! The hotel itself has everything you need for a nice city break!
Great location near two metro stations. Pool is nice rooms are large and clean. Restuarant is pretty yummy and they have a daily menu! Only reason I gave 4 stars was because the beds were so hard. Luckily the pillows and blankets were great making the hard bed more bearable. Checked in around midnight without issue, front desk always friendly and helpful. I was able to store my bags all day after checkout. Wifi works great.
Very good location between Sanz Station and Tarragona Station
Excellent place, very well presented, hygienic and pleasant. Go ahead, you can improve even more.
Amazing hotel near station and metro. Easy and convenient for the first time visitors to Barcelona.
Nice balcony view, overlooking the national palace and mountjuic fountain. Especially on the new year's night, you can see all the fireworks and light show around the National Palace from your room.
The staff is really helpful and the services may find everyone hospitable. If you ever visit Barcelona, make sure to drop your bags at Expo hotel. I am pretty sure you will carry more than just your bags when you leave.
Favourite person to contact - Andrea lazaro
Excellent attention from the Waiter, very friendly and fast.
Good view. Recommended
Very good. Very expensive. And no rooms for 3 people you have to separate a family in 2 rooms
Does not work ....
Dirty and the worst experiences was a cockroach in our bathroom ... never again !!!
In addition the equipment of the rooms is really poor for a 4 star hotel ...
Very nice hotel, with a rooftop bar and swimming pool. Clean rooms with balconies. Very friendly staff. The breakfast is limited, but the quality good.
Very nice hall, very nice corridors, crappy and old rooms, and expensive expensive. Not recommended.
strategically located hotel, good value if there are offers on their website. Very nice terrace with bar and a small swimming pool, overlooking the Montjuic hill
Very convenient if you are coming to a Fira convention or on a professional trip. It's also far apart from daily turistic traffic and close to many public transport systems
I just stayed a few hours for an event, but i enjoyed my visit.
Hotel located in central part of Barcelona. Great service from all the staff, tasty food served in restaurant. However they can make the rooms a it more cosy I think..Anyway great hotel, location and service is 5 stars
Clean and clean hotel close to the market There is a Wi-Fi but car garage is far from the hotel and at a price of 24 euros per night
Spacious rooms, good restaurant and very good service, good location next to the station but should soundproof the rooms by the noise of the bathroom next door.
At the moment I have been here only two days, so I have no way to give a full review ...
For each moso, the rooms are very beautiful and spacious, there is the possibility of closing the objects in a safe.
The terrace is very nice, although the outdoor pool is a little 'dear ...
The reception is very nice and is open 24h. Recommended
Hotel very well located if you go to the trade fair, as for the hotel It needs a remodeling, in fact the room that occupies seemed dismantled. The staff very well.
Very modern and beautiful hotel. Right next to a Barcelona station. Ramblas at 30 min walk.
I would not recommend this hotel. No Air conditioning after November 1st. Barcelona is still warm this time of year. Hotel could not accommodate us with fans.
I always choose this hotel when I work in Barcelona very close to Renfe and close to the subway and as an excellent hotel
Functional and very close to Sants train station. Everything works and the staff were all young but polite and efficient. Just don t expect any luxury
I have stayed at the hotel several times.
The location of it is excellent for its proximity to the Sants station.
The friendliness of the receptionists is perfect.
The rooms are quite small, and for a 4-star hotel, I think it has very little equipment.
The bathrooms are the worst point of the hotel ... they are old and the shower is a disaster ... it has some controls to regulate the temperature, which is really horrible, ... it is almost impossible to get it to the temperature you want.
The hotel is very old, but the worst thing is the HEDOR that gives off the channeling of the air conditioning.
2018: So, after the unpleasant stay in 2017 (see below), I now have to revise my opinion. This year everything went well with the reservation, had a large, clean room. Staff was very nice, friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the situation on the Terrazza has not improved, the staff is overwhelmed and therefore in a bad mood. But what the heck you can't have everything.
2017: I have been a regular and have e.g. always get the same room on request, which is not a matter of course. This year the same price and room category downgraded, although not evident in the description.
Check-in was also complicated, no details of my booking found even though I booked directly.
And now to the service, terrace staff has always been a bit overwhelmed, but this year it was even worse. Leave the terrace twice as no service was found responsible.
Now for the downgraded room:
2 single beds, 1 chair, 1 desk that cannot be used because it has a TV on it. That's it
If you book a room at Expo Hotel Barcelona, it doesn't matter how far in advance you book you may NOT get a double bed. Double beds are "subject to availability" here on the day, and cannot be guaranteed until the very day you arrive (lottery hotel...good luck!). Most absurd thing I have every encountered, they are happy to take your money in advance though in full. Also it says nothing about this ridiculous rule in their emails or booking confirmation
Amazing place. Very nice service
Recommend it !!!
You can walk in peace because you can see in front of you when you get off at Sants Station.
Did you renovate a super old building? Inside is super modern.
I went to July so I was looking forward to having a swimming pool, but the swimming pool like a bath on the roof is apologetic.
Well, it might be good for a minute while sunbathing.
The Catalunya Museum of Art is about 2 km away, and the fountains that light up on weekend nights are also beautiful.
I was disappointed to imagine the breakfast of a tropical country resort hotel, but it was very delicious. Bread and ham. Especially cheese ...
However, the room is safe. The floor is just P tiled in concrete, so the sound of walking on the upper floor and the sound of dragging on a chair are harsh for nervous people. Also, because the room is a bed of eel bed, it is not suitable at all for relaxing in the room. There was only one chair in the room like a chair in the conference room, so I asked to add one, but it was pleasantly responsive. There is only one room, but if you only go to sleep, the response of the employees is very good, and the location of Sants Station is also pleasant. Oh, it is convenient because there is a stop of City BUS (two-story tourist bus) at the station.
The hotel is situated, a very short distance from the airport, it is a simple transfer from the airport by train to Barcelona Sants, from here it it a 3 minute walk to the hotel.
The Hotel reception is clean, light and cool.
You are greeted quickly by members of staff who are all very courteous, and extremely helpful with recommendations and advice for tourists, making your visit to Barcelona that bit easier.
The rooms are well equipped, comfortable and very clean.
Good Modular Meeting Rooms
The food well
Nice hotel and very good location, but the room is a bit small.
Slow service and checking, single windows -> all rooms noisy from the street
Nice hotel with a swimming pool on the roof near the train station
This is a basic hotel, but location was great. Close to the Metro, shopping centre, and short walk to many places. Lots of great places to eat close by. Shower over the bath is a very tight fit, but rooms were clean. Cleaning of rooms was a bit hit and miss at times, missing such things as toilet paper sometimes. My only real complaint was that i was part of a group of 130 people that stayed there for nearly 2 weeks and they wouldnt store my foldmup massage table for 7 days while we traveled even though we were coming back for a further 4 nights. Their final reason was that there was a level 4 security alert in Barcelona. How that made any difference to sorting bagage for 6 hours or 6 days i dont know, but they made alot of money from our group and offered no assistance.
Nice, good location, everything as described, friendly service.
It feels like you've thrown a bed in the warehouse It's very humid and you have to spend three days but you can stay ... The bed is too humid to cover a dry bed
Just arrived at 9:30 am. Check-in is a miserable 3pm. Regardless no attempt has been made by Expo Barcelona to accomodate me after a long flight from the US. Last time I stay here.
Right ... never take rooms in front of the elevator
I loved the concept and its very comfortable facilities
Nice hotel conveniently located near Sants station.
Because it is in front of the station, the city bus subway, the national railway, and the red sightseeing bus stop nearby. We went to Guell Park by bus 27, Sagrada Familia and Sant Pau Hospital by subway. You can go to all parts of Spain such as Madrid. Nearly all of the city and airport were accessible in one t-casual. The rooms and bathrooms are large and the marble floor is clean. Power supply and storage are perfect. The first floor is Mercado supermarket. On the high floor, it was a room overlooking Sants station, so we could drink cheap and delicious wine while watching the station. Breakfast is also recommended with lots of fruits. When there was a Japanese tour, it happened by chance, rice and hot meal. The front desk, restaurant, and cleaning are all kind. Aura, Gracias. is.
I really liked the hotel, it has a nice roof with pool and restaurant perfect to chill out.
Prime location a few steps from the station, the metro and a few minutes walk from the Arenas shopping center and Espanya square.
Clean and comfortable room with large dressing room and balcony. Pleasant and unobstructed view. The only downsides if you have to find any: the average soundproofing and the slightly outdated bathroom.
Clean tidy rooms, small pool though. Nice bar on the rooftop . Good positioned .
Very central hotel, in my opinion it needs a good arrangement, the rooms need to improve, otherwise well. Expensive breakfast.
Clean and tidy hotel. Central location, close to metro and train station.
All perfect. Clean, accessible, well located, excellent attention and services.
Great hotel with good service. Is in the center and everything within the city is very accessible. The bed that I had was not great but ok for a couple of nights.
The room does not correspond to a four star. It's all very old.
Only the common areas are good.
As a positive its proximity to the station and the staff.
a good solution for those visiting barcelona, excellent location very close to the sancts station and 2 steps away from the Tarragona metro station, from where you can easily move to all the places of interest in the city
Very good location. Big Supermarket is 10 meters away.
Excellent in everything except $$ very expensive ...
They clean the rooms everyday and offer free breakfast.
Very nice hotel, it is clean, close to the subway bus taxi and full of restaurant next to the hotel
Cozy hotel, great staff, very clean and very well organized! I don't give 5 stars simply because in my opinion it needs updating. But I would gladly return.
