The terrace with pool and cocktails on the roof is a luxury and with incredible views of all Barcelona. The rooms are fine, although the cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired, they are not sealed or soundproofed, there was a lot of noise outside due to construction and it was impossible to sleep more than 7. Very friendly service.

My room was very small. (Single standard). Similar to a closet. On their website, these rooms do not appear. It must be rounded to be considered with the qualification it claims to have. Otherwise well.

I stayed here for 8 days and absolutely LOVED IT. From the friendly staff at the front desk to the sweetest lady you ever met working the hotel bar. Perfect neighborhood to connect to anywhere you want to go in the city. If I come back to Barcelona this is where I d stay.

Front desk is very friendly. Check in time is flexible. But the hotel needs a full renovation. There are so many boutique hotels you could book with a little higher price but much nicer rooms.

It is close to Sanzeki Station and easy to access. The room is normal and there is a lot of dust on the entrance side of the hotel. The staff are all friendly.
The staff was excellent, I asked for a swan arrangement in my room for my arrival and they done and also put 2 little chocolates with them. Also it was my birthday and at breakfast I received a cake with a candle on and it was beautiful. Again the staff was excellent starting from the reception, the housekeeping lady and especially the restaurant staff. 5 stars from me and I hope I'll be visiting again.

Room is ok but with PAPER thin walls. You can hear next door release wind. The worst is the hotel receptionist who just shrugged her face when asked questions about laundry. No attemp to help. She didn t wanna be there obviously. 1/5 because of the service.

Internal soundproofing isn't great; aircon is good; building and rooms are generally a little 'tired'.
Two 'standard' rooms we tried weren't wonderful and neither would they allow a good night's sleep, the 5 upgrade was money well spent.
Staff are excellent; location and access to metro/train/bus, very good; sundeck is good; pool is also good, although small... circa 10x6 metres; breakfast good.
Excellent place to stay, friendly staff and help you with the information of the city. It is close to the Sants station that has served as a connection to many places in the country, it is very close to downtown and other attractions.
As tourists are used to it, you can easily check it if you show English in English or a reservation table!

Old rooms, ugly and in poor condition. Noises between rooms. The windows close badly and the traffic is heard. They do not clean the room and let's not say the glass and the terraces: a sample of lint of all colors. The staff serves the audience well, while they talk to each other or consult WhatsApp. Cheap tourist hotel, of poor quality that does not even reach the level of a hostel. Not recommended.
Another 4 stars I should have 3. I have left the bathroom door open at night and the smell of the room is emetic. The rooms are not what they seem. The staff is very friendly, I hope they invest the room money in their salaries at least ...

To begin the checkin seemed chaotic. 4 people at the reception to make 1 checkin and even then the process was quick. Booking 2 rooms for more than 300euros, I expected a 4 star hotel, as announced. The double room (they call superior!) Was expected for a 4 star. It was not superior as advertised, standard room overlooking the train station. The triple room (standard) was horrible. Worse than a hostel: dirty, sand on the floor, beds that came out of a hospital. One of the beds was very old and had wheels on the head! Spooky. I expected the standard room to correspond to a 4 star, hence the name "standard". But maybe it was better to move to "lower". Room "lower" would be more appropriate. A shame. Then there were tours of drunk students who made noise and screamed. They arrived drunk at checkin and so continued all night. After complaining to reception, they replied that I was unlucky with the day, which was an unfortunate "coincidence"! But if they accept groups of noisy young people, they have to be prepared for that and increase security. I traveled with my family and it was embarrassing to hear words in English that begin on letter "F" in the halls all night. We were agreed between 2am and 4am. The noise ended after several calls to the front desk and a night very underdone. On the plus side, breakfast was good. Also I do not expect anything else for the price difference. Not be returning.
Very disappointing! Small rooms, poor cleaning, no water in the room, poorly insulated rooms (both outside and outside alarms), there were only sunbeds for the individual, as the rest were empty. The pictures from the home page no longer fit!
However, the breakfast was excellent.
I was here for 6 nights so my bad experiences have not just been an accident from the hotel but their standard. I will never book this hotel again.

Overall the hotel was fine - if you dont need any luxury or any extra and just want a place to sleep and relax in Barcelona. The hotel it self is near to Pl. Espanya and actually in a really livedly area. It s a bit far from centar it self as it takes around 40-45 min to walk there and one hour to Beach Barceloneta (and therefor even longer to one of the other beaches). Therefor you have to take the metro (which is right next to the hotel), bike or taxi really often. It didn t bother us, we were there for one week and therefor it was okay but for an extended weekend for example I would choose something in the centar. The hotel had a really nice terasse plus an okay pool. A bit small though - but def better than nothing! When I read the reviwes (old ones) my self before I arrived I thought that they d fix a few things by now but no.
The hotel it self was really simple - and that s what it is. A few pictures, a blanket on the floor and a fake flower in the room could make a huge difference. The hallway was really dark and kind of creepy. The room seemed a bit old and had no tea/coffee area as every hotel I ve ever been in had. I could read that you have to buy a more expensive room - but honestly. Why not have that in every room. The mini bar was empty. There were no toiletbrush in the bathroom - why!? They have that even at public restrooms. The bed was on wheels, was noisy and not good at all. There was a fine balcony but with no table or chairs. Thin walls which made it loud and you could hear when people walked in the hallway/opstairs plus you could her traffic noise and people outside (we were on 5th floor). It was basically like being in an old apartment building.
It is definately not a 4 star hotel. I would say 2 if it wasnt for the terasse and pool (good cocktails!) - that makes it 3 to me. I really feel like the hotel has a lot of potential and I really dont get why the owners doesnt do a bit more to make it up to date and add basic things as a toiletbrush and tea/coffee area.
For the money the hotel was fine - but next time I will probably look for another hotel.
