Terrible customer service!

Terrible customer service!
The doorman is extremely arrogant and the bar staff is not better. Very pretentious place but even cocktails were just OK. I mean if you were in different cocktail bars in Europe you have something to compare with. This bar will not offer you anything very special except high prices. The behaviour of staff will put all your experience down.

The entrance is quite narrow with a staircase going straight up with 10-15 stairs. The seating isn't too bad they have low tables and a bit of room when it isn't busy but beware it can get busy fast!

However the service is great and would be a great place to take visitors or friends that haven't seen it before.

Tasty and unique cocktails, accommodating service, speakeasy atmosphere, dimly lit, each table has its own air of privacy. A nice place to unwind for a late night drink, but not the place to be if you're wanting to be loud or on your phone. I'm told they're open til 3am most nights.

I came here and i've been welcomed with a big smile from a brunette boy with glasses.

I lady came to ask me how was my day and what I wanted to drink.

The same guy with glasses surprised me with an amazing Negroni.
I do really Suggest this place!

The guy I guess is called Ottavo.
Well done ! Super cool place!
Really recommended

I like that ECC is hidden in the middle of Chinatown, where you would least expect such an establishment. From my experience it's fairly easy to get in on weekends too, if you're a group of 2-4 people. I've been to this place at least three times, and cocktails are consistently excellent, albeit over-priced for what you get.

I went on a Saturday night so it was the typical crowded west end vibe. Artisan drinks - all ice no liquor. Not enough seating.

However, table service is provided if you do get a table and there's a free clock room.

I really do enjoy this place. A lot. However, it gets very crowded and towards the end of the night it can get overwhelming with so many people in a tight space. I wouldn t knock it for that though. The reason why no 5 stars from me is I ve More

The door staff would not let me in because I had Pride sequins on. On Pride day in Soho. Was told to wash my face before I could go in. They don t want to associate with pride. Really in Soho on Pride day. You should be embracing Pride. I have been before on two occasions. Needless to say I won t be going again.

Hidden above a grimy China down breakfast join, a bouncer stands at an unmarked door.

Best to have a reservation here, as sometimes it fills up pretty fast, but they reserve tables for walk ins.

It's got a beautiful interior, 1920s speak-easy style but the cocktails, starting from about fifteen quid are pretty ordinary for what you're paying. It's pretty noisy and cramped after 8, so it's not the sort of place you'll go back to often.

Don't bother turning up without reservation. The door staff is super uptight and borderline rude. The have some tasty cocktails here. I have had pretty good fun times with my mates whenever I've been here. Staff are friendly and happy to help decide on drinks. They do also go off menu.

Host just decided to randomly charge entrance fee. When asked why, he decided that people are not worth respond and asked next people in queue to come in. I was a regular client and I am never coming here again... poor poor service...

The best cocktails we had while visiting London! This hip bar feels like a cool speakeasy. I would strongly recommend the Experimental Cocktail Club for a post show drink (near theater district).

Experimental cocktail doesn't mean it's good, be careful when ordering food, some of the portion are not the same size as said on the menu and even after complaining they will still charge you service charge

Surprising location, no storefront, we had to go before several times before understanding where was the entrance. Entered free, we did not leave our things in the cloakroom. Crowded place, like in the metro at rush hour. Very dark, forced to take out the phones to read the map. By cons the cocktail was very good. But once finished, have gone for a more spacious place. In the end, it's a place to see once, but where I do not see me spend evenings.

Well theres a surprise! A two storey cocktail bar tucked away behind a very small door! a wide range of cocktails make it up or off the menu, you choose! upper floor is quieter than lower. Two bars, one on each floor, so service is excellent throughout. Usual London prices.

Cocktails are good once you get them. Not that they took long to come once ordered but ordering in the first place was a bit of a struggle. All the food we also ordered came as we were about to leave a good hour and a half later, though it was tasty. Just need a few more staff members.

If a bustling bar & standing shoulder to shoulder & getting your drinks knocked over isn't your thing, this might just be the place for you, to have a quiet moment with your lady & enjoy her company over a good glass of wine.

This has a bit of a 'secret door' vibe as there's no exterior signage. Instead you need to 'find' the doorman and have him let you in. Cocktails were fantastic, but the interior was a bit dated. I'd go back, but I wouldn't mark it a must-do.

Just had a really disappointing experience in this cocktail bar. Looked more like student union bar. Not only is the cocktail menu on a Sunday limited to 8 or so cocktails the two we had were neither special or experimental! The waiting More

Have been here few times, always ok, last time is a downer. The lady at the bar was rude, the drinks were not served for a long time (and she brought them from another bar in the venue, although we were sitting at the bar she was in), music is very so so.
