Very fun museum! A bit pricey but it's definitely a must see at least 1 time. The Nirvana exhibit was great. Years ago they only did music exhibits they now have movies and more pop culture. The sci-fi and fantasy rooms were neat! Really loved the horror room as well, nicely done!

I got to go here for a sponsored event so I didn't actually pay to get in. Regardless, this Museum wasn't really my thing. It was kind of cool to see some of the movie props but I was really disappointed in the Sci-Fi section because I couldn't find anything Star Trek related. The Marvel section was not too bad. I don't really understand why there is a Pearl Jam section but okay. I do like that band but it just seems kind of early for them to already be in a museum. I wouldn't have paid to get in.

This was a plan tastic place to visit. If you are using your city pass make sure to check of this museum out. Tons of hands on for the kids and a wonderful assortment of rock memorabilia as well as a fantasy and technology items. They have some original costumes from Star Wars as well as guitars from tons of musicians.

Fun!!

I had visited when it was still the Experience Music Project years ago and oh how much it has changed! Now the Museum of Pop Culture, there was so much to experience. We loved the Indie Games Exhibit as our son wants to be a video game designer. The Marvel exhibit was amazing and I highly recommend adding it on to your experience. We got a membership so we can experience all that is has to offer it's entirety.

It was my 2nd visit after 10 years, and it was very enjoyable experience again. I dont know too much about artists that the museum features but it was still very good. I was expecting to spend about 2-3 hours but I ended up spending 4-5 hours.

They had some exhibitions (horror films, hero, minecraft) when i was there. I also had a chance to watch some concerts by several different artists. I also enjoyed some documentaries by 1st floor theatre, and it was a good rest to have in the middle.

My 2 cent is to go to start from the 3rd floor where there is the sound lab. You can get into rooms with different instruments and tools to learn and make music. They tend to get busy so that you have to wait a long time later in the day.

Make sure to stroll around the building for other attractions!

Expensive. Very confusing on which direction to head. We were all over the place. Nice that you can just come and go everywhere but sensory overload that I was disappointed that it didn't have better flow. Great pieces!

The Marvel exhibit costs extra but is totally worth the price if you're at all interested in superhero movies or comics.

Don't forget to check out the Thrill of Horror Film, even if you've been already. They keep updating it!

There exists a shadow museum hidden beneath this one: The Museum of Unpopular Culture, or Mupcult. I prefer it. It is free and can only be accessed via complicated pagan ritual. Sorry.

It's a fun place! There's a section of movies, bands, horror, fantasies, and many others. They also had a special section for Marvel fans. They also sometimes screen movies in the JBL theatre

This is at the terminal stop of the sky train, and it is a short distance (1.8 mile) from downtown Seattle.

Lots of kid things to do along with photo opportunities at the music center for vacationers.

Visit here if your'e looking for the Space Needle.

One of the most pleasant and interesting museums. If you "nerd", take it easy without delay! Music, videogames, science fiction and horror in one place, you can easily pass two three hours.

Amazing collections of different pop cultures sides. From music, TV, film and even video games. Make sure you check what exhibitions they are offering since they are limited yet awesome. Just saw the Marvel one and it was amazing.

The museum was clean and fun. There were a lot of fun exhibits when we visited. All the pieces seemed well thought out and quality, as was the information about them.

The only con was the cost, it was a little pricy at $28, and then one of the exhibits was an additional expense.

Exhibits when we visited:
Nirvana
Sound lab
Holodome
Marvel Pop-Up
SciFi
Fantasy
Horror

Horror and SciFi were best, IMO, and Nirvana was a neat look at the history of the band and their influence.

I thought it is a museum about pop music, but after my girlfriend told me that pop is a culture, everything changed. The marvel museum was very nice! A lot of stuff from the movies, like Spiderman homemade suit!

Really enjoyed this place. You can spend a whole day in here and still have a bunch to do. There are different themed areas from film/tv to music. From games to tech. It's just a bunch of fun for everyone.

I have visited several times and have always enjoyed the MoPop. Their current indie game exhibit is very interesting, and it's a great place to take your geeky friends from out of town. It takes a little over an hour to see the whole place, and has enough diversity that there's a little something for everybody.

This is one of the best museums I've ever been to. If you're a local, it's well worth it to get the yearly membership. MoPOP never fails to deliver with its carefully curated exhibits. The temporary ones are unreal, and the permanent ones always have things changing around in them. The Sky Church is awesome, and the whole place is just an all around cool place to be.

The MoPOP has a lot to offer in a variety of different areas of pop culture.

I thought the collection of costumes that we're assembled from television and movies was excellent. It amazed me to see props from some of the classics being on display more than 30 years after it was captured on film.

Alot time went into the informational cards on the displays. It would take more than and single visit to explore all the knowledge the MoPOP had to offer, but that should not dissuade one from visiting.

Absolutely loved this place. It has a great deal of memorabilia from the world's of Sci-fi, horror and fantasy, each with its own section. The Nirvana room was pretty special for those who grew up listening to them. Lucky enough to be there when the Marvel display was on. Definitely recommend.

Perfect for the family. We got the February museum promo, and saw the Marvel exhibit. Allot at least four hours to fully enjoy the place, both inside and outside. Though not Gehry's best, the building/complex is a standout.

I will admit i am not much of a museum person. I was shocked by how much fun I had here and how interesting the exibits are. The museum is all about things that happened in my lifetime and interactive.
