For fans of fantasy, sci-fi, grunge, or a whole new experience even if it's for a day. Especially during hot summer. It's very cool and nicely air-conditioned during Seattle's rare, hot summers. Not to mention the indie game exhibit where you can actually play the games, which the museum cycles in new ones. Pretty great place to hang out for the self-proclaimed geek and nerds :)

Great museum, lots to interact with, gave it a 4 because Paul Allen didn't have an exhibit for one of Seattle's best rock groups ever! Can you say Barracuda! The group, Heart! How could he not?

A very modern and immersive experience for all ages. The only downfall was the cost of the tickets, a little exorbitant. Free coat check and quick moving lines were a pleasant surprise. Special thanks to Jasper for helping us get into the Holodome when a spot opened up!

One of my favorite places. I try and go once to twice a year if not more. Look for the limited display areas other wise it all tends to be the same. If it is your first or second time you will have a good time.

Great place to visit! Its right next to the Space Needle and the Chihuly Garden. Its all about rock and roll, video games, movie props, a jbl theater, and recently added a Marvel studio room. Thats for 8 bucks more. There is a bar and a booth to check ur luggage and belongings. Been twice and id go back again.

Pretty amazing museum, my children ages 9 and 6 had a great time playing with the many musical instruments available. The video game section was also great showcasing the many different platforms and game makers. The marvel exhibit is worth the cash especially if you're into reading the comics and not just a marvel movie fan. We spent around 4 hours here as a family.

A little disappointing. It looks great from outside, and occupies a huge space, but seems to have exhibits that don't quite fill it. Obviously a must for Hendrix or Nirvana fans, but the part I enjoyed the most was the second floor where visitors can try their hands at various musical instruments and (my favourite) a mixing desk

2nd time here! Great experience. Buy ticket online for a discount. I would say to experience everything, reserving about 2 hours is plenty. Parked at Seattle Center parking lot which was $15 and we were there for about two hours.

A wonderful look at popular culture in music, scifi, fantasy, horror genres across music, film and media. Well worth the visit although some of the exhibits that aren't open and a private event meant we couldn't see everything.

Exhibits were curated creatively and the staff was super kind. There is an indie games section where you can play loads of indie games. We went in late and they gave us a return pass for the next day or two.

This is a must see in Seattle! It's an all age attraction once it embraces quite diverse matters. I'm very proud and lucky to see the Pearl Jam, Prince, Nirvana and Jimmy Hendrix exhibitions. It's so rich that is possible to spend hours and hours looking and reading the explanatory contents. So it better you go with time enough, it take at least 2-3 hours to cover the main attractions. They also have good attractions to kids, there's a scary movie area with some very realistic dummies they used to make the films characters, there's also a Minecraft exhibits and so on. Prices are OK, visit worth for what it can be learned from.

Super fun place to be, hang out, learn, and celebrate the music and culture that put Seattle on the world map. Make sure you visit Andy Wood in the Pearl Jam exhibit - love flourishes!

It's set up like someone's used Sci-Fi garage sale; some great finds but a lot of bric-a-brac. There's some cool special events, but it's always felt like the red-headed step child of the Experience Music Project

MoPop is a great place to go for tourists and locals; especially if it's raining outside. Check their website because they do get new exhibits replaced every couple of months. We bought their family annual pass.

A one of a kind experience. If you are an artist, musician, or generally a fan of pop culture, this place will delight and inspire you to create. It's sleek, modern, and has great exhibits. Something for everyone.

Very cool place! Definitely worth the visit. I came here during the Star Wars Exhibit.
The star wars Exhibit was amazing but they also had a very cool music showing including several rooms where you could try singing or instruments. But parking is very $$

Loved this place. Didn't really know what it was before going. Getting to see all the stuff from movies and TV shows that I love was amazing. They have different special exhibits on, I got to see the marvel one which was great. I thought it was very reasonably priced and would go again.

Edgy architecture, but far too expensive for what it has to offer. The exhibits are poorly curated, and the domain of popular culture seems to be limited to electric guitars and Seahawks, with a dash of sci-fi. Could be so much better with a little more vision, but expect Hard Rock Cafe, without the food.

Best food in town . The service was superp.Elevators were down for the startreck exhibit and my wife insisted on climbing two flights of stairs despite being on crutches. Could not have expected a better experience. Only thing lacking were some of the exhibits

Easily one of the best museums I have EVER been to. I wish the "Scared to Death" exhibit was bigger, but that's because I love all things dealing with horror movies! The museum was beautiful, every one was friendly, & the exhibits were perfect!

Marvel super heroes exhibition was awesome, with costumes actually used in the movies. Everything very neatly laid out and a lot of information. This was my second time here, I did go through the rest of the exhibitions and they were as exciting as the first time around. The indie game room design is great, but it could be even bigger and there could be more games. I'll definitely come again for the next rotating exhibition!
