We had a company trip to Sea Palace in July and it was perfect! Great area on IOP, beautiful pool and putting green. The house is HUGE and great for large groups. The staff at EP was extremely helpful leading up to our stay as well. Would definitely stay again!
Can t say enough good things about Exclusive Properties. They have the very best portfolio of luxurious rental homes on the island. We live on the IOP, and many friends have stayed with them over the years. They rave about the homes, amenities, locations, and the capable and kind people who work for the company. Top notch.
Our house had a beautiful view and a great location. Everything in the house was new, clean and worked great! Lots of fresh clean towels and linens too. Best vacation house I ve ever rented.

If I could give this rental company zero stars, trust me I would. This was THE WORST company I have ever dealt with in my entire life. The way my boyfriends family & I were treated is absolutely disgusting and I would never want anyone to have to deal with this, so please read.
My boyfriends family are frequent IOP visitors therefore the amount of houses and realtor companies they have dealt with is very high. With it being SEWE weekend, the normal realtor company they use was booked with no houses, so they had to branch out with this company; WHAT A MISTAKE. A few days prior to the family weekend starting there was a family emergency. Someone in the family had a cerebral aneurysm; a tragedy to the family. Because of this the parents called the relator company asking if there could be a refund or if we could come a day later. The company then replied for us to save the "sob stories; that they hear this all the time" - wow what a great company we have here. They then stated that the children of the family (everyone is over the age of 21 years old) would not be allowed in the house without the parents being there. Finally it was agreed upon that since one of children was over the age of 25 years old she could be the "adult" in the house. We stated that Hilary (the one over 25) had a wedding dress appointment Saturday and would be gone from the house after 9am. The OWNER of the this company SHELLY, came to the house unannounced, let HERSELF into the house and began walking around (little did she know someone was home upstairs). After she realized what she was doing she left. She came back a few hours later when we were all home, and stormed into the house with hostility (we have this all on video). She threatened us with the police because Hilary was not home so we were breaking the law being in the house WE RENTED by being there with no one over the age of 25.

The house was in absolute terrible shape. There was mold on the walls, no water in the hot tub we paid to have access to, elevator was not maintenance since 2016 (WOW), no covers on the pillows, or mattresses, king size mattresses on full sized box springs, staples sticking out of carpet..
AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS. THEY ARE THE WORST PEOPLE I HAVE EVER SEEN.
Great Experience!! Property was better than advertised. Every question and request handled by a truly first class staff. Definitely will be using for all future stays on the island.

I love this place! Great Location! Very Convenient to downtown Charleston for shopping & dining and local fishing with some of the best captains around. We always use Exclusive Properties and have always been more than happy with our accommodations and the property is ALWAYS CLEAN! I highly recommend looking no where else!

Our group of 22 high school friends (Chix of 66) had a great stay at Sea Palace. The home is beautiful and the spacious accommodations were wonderful. We loved to gather on the third floor to eat and just sit and visit. The bedrooms were nice and plenty of bathrooms. Meagan and the others in the office were very receptive to any questions that we had and acted promptly when we had an issue with hot water in one of the bathrooms. The walk to the beach was easy and the pool was wonderful. We would stay there again.

I stayed at one of their properties recently and it was a fantastic experience from the moment we walked through the doors! We arrived at night & first impressions were tremendous because we didn't walk into a dark home.....all the lights were on, the heat was already on, and there was very calming music playing. Everything was great from beginning to end! We'll definitely be staying at an Exclusive Property again!

It was the best vacation ever! We can't wait to do this again. The home is large enough to accommodate our entire family with enough activities and space for everyone! We loved having a kitchen large enough for multiple cooks. We rented a few games for the yard and had "tournaments" throughout the week. We also rented beach chairs and umbrellas because we knew these northerners would melt in the South Carolina sun! We spent much of our time at the beach and when we were done with the sand and the salt we would retreat to the pool. I don't think life gets any better than that. Thank you for providing a perfect place for us.

We took our family of 10 (including 2 little ones) to Windswept. It is a spectacular home, with every amenity you could imagine. The decor, the kitchen set-up, the layout of the bedrooms, the pool-- all surpassed our expectations. The house was immaculate and Exclusive Properties was very responsive and excellent to deal with. We'll be back!!

I can't recommend this rental company highly enough! We recently had an emergency situation arise that meant we weren't able to use the rental the week we initially scheduled. Exclusive Properties bent over backwards to help us out with our unavoidable situation. They kept in great communication with us and spent a good bit of time finding new renters for the space, allowing us to recover most of our initial investment. Great new house. Quiet area of the beach. Great pool, kitchen and family room. The two masters overlooking are ocean are the best I have seen. Great first floor double bunk bed room for the kids. Huge well appointed kitchen. Elevator came in handy.
The houses are so roomy and elegant. 4 and 5 families (with children) can easily stay in these homes with the convenience of the beach a few steps away. Our house had a washer and dryer. Yes! No more trekking stinky laundry home only to spend your first day home doing laundry all day. The staff are so very wonderful and accommodating. Best destination vacation ever!
By far the worst experience I have ever had at any rental property. The owner of this company is satans spawn her self, she and her employees are the rudest people I have ever encountered. She entered house without notice or warning while my brother was in the shower upstair and she was walking around in the house. I Have rented many houses in IOP and never experienced anything like this. Disgusting moldy walls, numerous nails/staples were sticking out carpet that would stab your foot, elevator was very sketchy..

Our family used Palm Manor for a 60th birthday weekend. The house was beautiful and perfect for our whole family. Exclusive Properties was a huge help. They helped me find this amazing home, suggested and helped organize the catering company and even helped when we had a problem with the elevator. They were available when we needed them and I would definitely book with them next time I come to Isle of Palms.
Wonderful (Pandemic) Getaway!
We had an absolute wonderful time while in Isle of Palms. The team at Exclusive Properties were extremely helpful and accommodating leading up to, during and after the stay. The house is in a great location, clean and has all the amenities for a large group. Perfect!
AVOID THIS RENTAL COMPANY AND ALL OF THEIR PROPERTIES! THEY WILL LET THEMSELVES IN THE HOME WITHOUT NOTICE AND THREATEN THE RENTERS WITH THE POLICE.
I am at a loss for words regarding this experience and this company. Let me start by saying, my family is frequent renters of Isle of Palms and many houses throughout the states and other countries. That being said, THIS WAS A NIGHTMARE FROM THE BEGINNING!!!
We came in town for a family weekend for SEWE. We were excited to find this home with bedrooms for everyone and pet friendly . Once we booked they said dogs would be $250 each and they needed shot records and medical records of every dog? What?! Trying to pacify the company, we did so and paid dogs the dogs individually. Unfortunately the week of the booking my Aunt had a brain aneurysm and has been on life support in Columbia. They REFUSED to let us get a refund or come a day later.
Finally we were allowed in the house and the next morning we found the owner Shelly walking around in the home. She let herself in and was going through the house while we were at brunch, but little did she know, my brother in law was upstairs. Later when we expressed our discomfort in them in the home unannounced, Shelly showed up again. She was barged through the door with 911 dialed, threatening to call the police because we were not allowed to be there because my parents were not in the home with us. My mother was on the phone and we have video footage of all of these encounters as SHELLY, the owner told her she was lying about our aunt dying and they didn t care.
The house was DIRTY and unmaintained. Mold was on the walls near air vents and returns, and no water in the hot tub that we paid for. There was a lock box on the heat to the hot tub and all of the outside lights. The elevator had not been serviced since 2016, and there were no mattress covers or pillow protectors. The aminity basket was two dishwasher pods and some bathroom mini trash bags. THATS IT.
For the safety and sanity of your family, do not put yourself through this nightmare. No one should ever be treated the way we were.
My family and I have been booking holidays with Exclusive Properties for 10 years now, and we just booked another one for this summer. Every single home and vacation experience has been A+. This includes the property as well as the service. I personally book holidays and villas around the world, and I've not come across a more professionally run business. Organizing excursions, chefs, babysitters, sport equipment, etc.. has been so professionally handled. Anytime, there was an issue the EP team responded within minutes and usually had someone at the property within an hour, oftentimes it being one of the owners of the company. We will for sure be using them for the next 10 years having just booked our summer in Isle of Palms with them again this year.
