Was charged $400 for a simple car service on a Mazda Demio. Absolutely ridiculous price. I only went here as I work across around the road so I assumed it would be easier but cost me a fortune when I could have had the exact same service for $69 off a Grabme deal. Never going here again. After this experience the other staff I work with shared stories of being over charged through them.

CRITICAL please go to web page and read through a small window of my experience...most of the star ratings on there website are customers who haven't even bought a car...most comment on the look of the yard although have not purchased...in reviews click on lowest to gage a true formality of the quality of service to expect...honesty and integrity is what you can not expect..stone wall and being shafted off once they have the cash is a true reflection of the highest service ...they should be ashamed of there services truley ashamed...please feel free to contact me if you have had issues...the consumers guarantee act protects even after 4 years...never for 1 munite did I think I would be going down this track...although customers deserve to expect the truth...

Aggressive tantrum throwing car sales people. Don t walk into the lot unless you re 100% sure you re buying.

At the higher end of the range for second hand imported cars. Big yard with a good choice of cars. Mostly performance range or sporty models from European brands and HSV Holdens, along with a few American utes; the huge ones with monstrous towing capacity. Prices are generally expensive, with a few bargains that, I suspect, they haven't been able to sell as easily as they expected.

Initally a little skeptical when visiting and talking with the salesman there, however, I have had nothing but an AMAZING experience from the team at 4Guys. Stuart really put me ease going through all the paperwork, and explaining it. They even sent someone to come and pick me up from the opposite side of Hamilton, to take me to their saleyard to collect my car. Extremely happy with my purchase - a really good car at a fair price, serviced, new warrant, 3mths rego, and a full tank of petrol. Would definitely go back again and buy another car from there. Thank you so much!!

Andrew, our sales person, was so helpful, friendly and didn t in any way pressurise us. From beginning to end it was such a positive experience. I would highly recommend them to anyone who is car shopping.

Excellent service once again, I have brought several cars from 4 Guys and the service I received was second to none. I highly recommend thes guys as I wouldn't buy my car anywhere else as they always go the extra mile and nothing is ever to much trouble. The after sales support is only a phone call away as you are never treated as a number, this is a must for me as I feel like one of the family. I give them a 5 star rating without hesitation. Terrible service from the service department this week. One day fix turning into six.Condescending staff getting a kick out of our frustration and when asked over the phone where we can lay a formal complaint we are told it goes through who we're talking to. Asked if it would be taken seriously? "Nah probably not".

Our salesman Andrew was fantastic to deal with and Simon from the finance team also. Great service. Thanks for the little mazda demio, its great!

We have bought several cars from "Cory" at 4Guys and it is always a pleasure. Friendly, funny impeccable service, he goes that extra mile every time.
He probably finds us frustrating as we change our cars regularly but we wont go anywhere else. My latest vehicle purchased was a 2014 Holden VF in black. I love it so much. Cory went out of his way to do the changes that I wanted and even an extra surprise for me. I love this guy so much.
No one should go anywhere else until they see Cory. No1 for 4Guys.

What can i say? We came home with this, soso happy.

I was treated with courtesy and professionalism with my recent car purchase through 4Guys Autobarn.

We dealt with John the transaction was very easy. We live several kms away so most of the deal was done over the phone. After a 8 hour trip the hand over was seamless. One thing I would recommend is checking the fuel gauge as after our long drive was a bit disappointed that the first thing I had to find was a petrol station. Other than that I would highly recommend this company. Thanks 4guys.

Brought a car from 4Guys almost 2years ago now and the bloody thing is still falling to bits.
I have spent well over what I payed for it in repairs. #singlemother #worksfulltime #money is tight!!!
Lesson learned get a pre purchase inspection even if you think the company is "top notch".. Definitely would not go back.

If you want to deal with a yard with integrity, honour and trust then steer well clear of these guys.
Had nothing but hassles with the car we flew up from the south island to
purchase, it was supposed to be serviced, groomed, reg & WoF.
- it wasn't serviced.
- the grooming was appalling (mold on seat belt, dog hair, food etc).
- they slapped a WoF from their own workshop on the car and it had multiple faults that would have failed a warrant at any other testing station.
-The car had traveled almost 1500km more than the displayed reading advertised (wasn't made aware of this, I discovered it on the way home) and the car had dents & scratches incurred in this 1500km, the photos advertised show the car immediately after its front & rear respray 15 months prior to us purchasing.
-Broken/missing interior parts
-Connector fault on the BCM wouldn't allow a second key (supplied one was on its last legs) to be programmed (unfit for purpose) and I had to take time off work to take it to a specialist repair shop 2 hours from home twice to have this remedied at my cost - they just fobbed me off with comments of - you have resolution, enjoy the car and not even an offer to pay part of the bill.
-Major battles to try and get money back out of them to rectify these issues - ended up copping a fair chunk of the bills myself which isn't how it should be when you're spending close to 50K on a vehicle.
Ended up communicating with salesman, sales manager and even the CEO trying to get them to do the right thing by this transaction and they just tried to fob me off - some payment was made for their errors but it shouldn't be on me to pay the remaining bills to bring this car up to the level it was sold to me at.
I will always steer anyone I meet away from having anything to do with 4guys - mistakes happen, we all make them, but its the way you rectify these issues (or don't) and deal with customers that people remember.

Fast forward 3 years, took Morph in for a WOF today. Yes Mum get's worried when anyone else is tinkering with her pride and joy. Not to worry though! They made jokes about it ( which was good lol ) and ultimately very professional and totally laid back! I worried for nothing. Thanks to the team at 4guys. I'll be back :)

Been there twice now with interests to purchase a car, first time completely ignored so just did my own thing and looked around at cars in the yard, a few weeks later come back but was given poor service with salesmen not taking me seriously. No explanation for this as they were well staffed. - Very rude, arrogant and had an attitude. Will not recommend or come here again.

Had to fit a new battery after 1 week, still got problems with check coolant light coming on, do not want to drive it any more waiting for it to break down

Spent 75 grand got ignored by staff for 30 mins as they looked down their noses at me and got sold incomplete used borla exhaust sold to me as new simon from sales made promise to contact me with car tuning service in ak still waiting and the car was covered in scratches

Had traded my Mitsubishi for a HiLux and was very impressed with the young salesman who attended to our questions and the mature gentlemen that sorted my paperwork.
I was going to award 5 stars but I wasnt happy with the other more experienced salesman being distracted by acknowleding other potential customers while I was speaking with him.
Be attentive at all times especially to the potential buyer you are asking questions to....

Horrible experience, salesman didn't know any of my questions and was completely clueless about cars... Then went inside to check something and never came out so I left and bought a car elsewhere, DO NOT COME HERE!

Took my son there to look at the nice Dodge cars. Ended up looking at a Ford Escape for us. Really nice friendly service with no pressure. Good selection of cars.

This was the worst place I have been to the staff will try fight you because we went in for a WOF and when we showed the WOF inspector that she was incompetent as she could not find a cert tag which was in the right place and about the tyres being stretched which they are not so all and all very unprofessional service and very incompetent in the skills to carry out a professional job

Very happy with the quality of cars available and very pleased with the estima that I bought.
I thought the grooming was certainly not up to the previous standard of cars that we have bought there before.
There was coloured insulation tape on the roof and the window and inside the door jams hadnt even been cleaned.

Purchased a car not even 2 years ago - have had the car serviced and looked after to try and ensure the quality and life of it. Every time I go to this place to be "looked after" I get slapped with a bill and a half with no communication, never confirming that there will be extra charges or constantly being told "thats cars mate". 6 breakdowns in 10 months isn't "just cars". On the most recent service got charged double without consultation or knowledge and was given back a faulty car (no fault light was showing when I gave it to them)- when asked why it wasn't fixed and what was wrong with it they said they could look at it but it will cost me more. Not impressed and now seeking legal advice.

I have brought a lot of vehicles from a lot of dealers and I would have to say 4 guys autobarn would be the top quick dealings and excellent backup service thanks guys

My first time visiting at the new yard. Wow, hundreds of beautiful machines to suite a wide variety of needs. Everything from imports and sports cars to general run arounds and people movers. I would definitely recommend people check out 4Guys if they are in the market for a new vehicle.

Excellent service....listened well to what we were looking for, gave us lots of options and provided great advice. We came back and purchased a vehicle from 4Guys after looking around and realising that their service was by far the best!

They're a bit more expensive but you get what you pay for. I thought they were honest and easy to work with. I knew what I wanted going in and the salesman didn't try to upsell me. I am happy with the car I bought.
