Its good diner food! Had a great Sunday brunch. Been here more than once and the food is constantly delicious. The hostess came by and poured more coffee while checking on us. Waitresses are efficient and kind.

Holy menu! There is a ton to choose from and was a welcome sight after 6 hours of flying with a 1 year old. I had the flounder torpedo sandwich, I can say it was absolutely amazing. We ordered a kids spaghetti with one meatball and it was enough to feed two adults, so I would suggest if you have a little one to simply have them share your entree so you aren't wasting food. Cheesecake was great, and what little portion of the menu we sampled was delicious. The place was a pleasant surprise and our waitress was engaging and happy.

Great service and AWESOME staff. Food was pretty good; they have either beef or chicken gravy to go with the Disco fries. Glad that my waitress asked, now I think I'll ask every place if I can get the gravy on the side -- since usually it's too much gravy on the fries at diners. Our waitress was great and very attentive to our time here. Atmosphere is nice.

The pasta is gross and my friend got breakfast and it was gross too. Especially the grits. Just cause it looks nice, doesn't mean it taste good.
We came here to visit one of wife's old coworker! I haven't been to a diner in such a long time! I had got one of their lunch specials which was a chicken cutlet panini with fries. It came with a bowl of soup, the meal, then a dessert of your choice.

Visiting the area and wanted to grab a quick bite to eat. Ordered a dish and received another dish that was completely wrong because they had a new cook who. Please train your new cook. Their saving grace was their customer service.

Today. we went for my daughter's 14th birthday and a waitress got upset when the only thing I asked (politely) was if we could seated at a booth. She threw the menu on the table so loud when we got to the booth that even other patrons were startled and shocked. The manager and another waitress were a little nicer. I hope that this dinner will work on its image. I still left a nice tip.
I love visiting Ewing Dinner. Excellent place to visit. The food is very good . Friendly personnel. Ther waiters/waitresses are to the T with their services.

Nice and cool vibe. The sides that came with my NY steak was plentiful and quite okay. The steak was bland and slightly cool to the touch but was done correctly. Everyone enjoyed the service/food which consist of the basic but delicious wings and pork chops. I would stop by again if I'm ever in town.
Always excellent food. Have been here a dozen times over the past year for breakfast and the food is always excellent and comes out quickly. The scrapple is the best I've ever had.

I work 3rd shift a lot and where I work you cant take purses or phones in the building. These idiot's wont let me order without a debit card. They lost me for good. You can't make me give that kind of information over the phone...especially if I intended on paying cash...smh

Terrible experience. Waitress appeared angry when we came in. She was abrupt and rude. Coffee was cold. Did not come back to ask how everything was until we were almost done. Never go there again

This Diner is great. The food is good. The owner comes and checks up on his guests which I think is awesome. The prices are good.

Servers go out of their way to take care of you. The food is very good and the price is right. We always go home with enough food for a few more meals.
It's a great place for a good wholesome meal. The waitstaff are always nice and professional and the portions are always generous and enough for two meals. I've eaten there at least 5 times and always had a positive experience.

By far the best of the best. New Jersey is known for its diners and this is number 1. The owner Pete is one of the nicest, sincere people I ever met. He treats everyone who comes in like family and you leave happy and full.

Not nearly as good as I thought it would be with that rating. Waitress was unfriendly and forgot my soup. Brussel sprouts were mushy and terrible. Club sandwich was average at best

I visit Ewing Diner regularly. This past Saturday morning on May 20, 2017, the diner was full and I was seated near the opened door. It was a cool morning and a cold draft was coming through the opened door that is usually closed. I asked my waitress if the door could be closed because of the cold draft coming in. I couldn't take off my coat beacause my arms were cold. I ordered hot tea and it went cool quickly because the door was still opened. I put my food order in and waited a long time before my meal came. The draft coming through continued to bother me so I reached out to the manager, a man in blue button up shirt and black slacks. The manager told me no that he couldn't closed the door because the glass door chips when the move it. He said it was nothing he could do and that he was sorry.
My food finally arrives and a quickly got cold due to cold air coming in my direction. My waitress said they couldn't closed the door because the manager wants air circulating in the diner; this was totally the opposite of what the manager originally told me. The waitress offered me a slice of cheesecake for free. I just wanted to eat my breakfast hot. My food got cold quickly, so I had it boxed up. I didn't get to enjoy my meal so I asked for a discount off of my meal. The manager told me no, told me to leave my food and not pay or if I take the food and not pay the bill, he will called the cops on me. I told him I'm going to pay bill, it just needed to be discounted sue to the circumstance I had to endure.
I was embarrassed and appalled at the manager's behavior and attitude toward the situation. I was even more surprised with how the manager didn't make sure I was a satisfied customer and guaranteed my return to visit Ewing Diner again.
I will not dine at Ewing Diner ever again.

The inhuman portions you expect from a true New Jersey diner. Staff were great and patient with all of our obnoxious menu requests. All of the chrome is on the outside of this building. Chicken noodle soup was perfection.

I've never filled out a comment card negatively until tonight. The service was awful... Our waitress ignored the host three times when he told her to wait on us. When she finally came over she had an attitude. Our food was so/so, although the pork roll was burnt. Other tables who came in after us were waited on before us. Won't go back. Much better diners in New Jersey.
I have had food poisoning a while back, I waited a few months and went back and got food poisoning again. Came back months later, and got charged $2 for lettuce and tomato on a chicken parm, from a rude rude waitress.

They charge $4 if you share a meal. The calamari was so overcooked it was inedible. Everything else was just meh. Our waitress was overworked and couldn't give us as much attention.
