We ordered from the New Ewing Diner twice, via GrubHub. The menu is very extensive, one of the most comprehensive menus in the area. Each section (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) features dozens and dozens of specialties. Suffice it's to say that the restaurant offers over fifteen different kinds of omelets.
The New Ewing Diner is the only restaurant in the area (comprising Hamilton, Trenton, Ewing, Lawrenceville, and Princeton) where you can get a matzo ball soup. Unfortunately, they don't add anything in the soup, not carrots neither greens, but still.
Our food was freshly made, the order was correct.
The portion sizes (spinach veggie wrap, Onassis Greek salad, Filet Mignon Sheesh Kabob) are on the bigger side.
The hours of operation are extensive. From 6 AM to midnight.

I go to New Ewing Diner all the time but the service today was terrible, the waitress Jenna proceeded to debate with me after I asked the manager for a coffee refill I had been waiting on for 15mins. The manager had to refill my cup while she kept arguing with me that it hasnt been 15mins. She kept going outside for a smoke throughout the meal and taking forever to get back to our table. Kept calling my son and I "dude". I asked for Chocolate Mousse Cheesecake, she came back with Chocolate Cake. When I told her it's not the dessert I asked for she said " No Dude you asked for Chocolate Cake not Chocolate Cheesecake" Terrible service.

My nephews and I went for burgers and fries, and a bowl of French onion soup. For the three of us it cost $51.00 bucks. We were charged separately for lettuce, cheese and tomatoes not to mention $5.00 for a bowl of soup. Not happy at all, I feel the bill was padded will not be returning. Thumbs down all around

When we went to go the diner it were little to no people there . The food was extremely high and my brother has autism so when they were taking long with the food he was getting restless and crying and slapping himself on the head . We get our mean and when my mom and brother walk out the waitress comes up to me and asks me how old is he and I continue to say he s four ma am and then she continues to say is he slow ? Who says that . When I went back to tell my mom she told the restaurant and goes off ( as she should ) and they only gave her the tip back ( $5 ) . The pancakes taste like cardboard and the eggs have no flavor and their dry

First time here stopping by to see a friend. Very good food, quick service, and three pancakes that could have filled me twice.

Slightly pricey, but with the omlete selection I will be coming back eventually

First time visit. Very good experience. The food was hot and fresh and tasted wonderful. The staff was present and welcoming. Overall a very nice diner. Prices were reasonable also. We will definitely be back when we're in the area.

Went to this place for the first time and it's a work crew outside placing a telephone pole just as you enter the parking lot and out comes the owner yelling about the traffic cones in his parking lot and a work truck parked in the lot. And he's using all kinds of profanity at the workers. F this and MF that!!! And as a first time customer I was in complete shock and I haven't even gotten out my car yet and I'm hearing this man disrespect the workers and it was totally out of line to speak to people like that. Safe to say I DID NOT spend my money in that place if that's the way he'd treat a person!!!

This place is wayyyyy too over priced for the quality of the food. The food isn t bad but it costs about $30 for 2 people to get sandwiches, whereas other diners you can get a simple sandwich for $5 at same or better quality. The staff is very friendly, but I just can t see paying gourmet prices for not gourmet food.

I worked late at night in the area for a little while until job placed me in another location. While here I would come in for random foods off the menu and all were pretty good. The tuna melt was one of the sandwiches that stood out to me and I enjoyed it from time to time. The burgers were pretty decent and nice size. I wish I could have tried other options on the menu while here. Overall good spot and the waitress was kind each time.
