It's good to spend the whole day, but I guess you can make a short visit here when you enter the area free of charge. Even if you would just otherwise spend time and eat in a restaurant.
There are also many places to eat so there is a choice. There are many devices so you will probably find a suitable snare for everyone.

Nice, traditional theme park. Works better now that the kids are older. Ticket and food prices at amusement level. Nice to spend a day here, of course. It's a good idea to get there by public transport.

We liked Taiga and bought video with us after the ride. The ride was breathtaking and we screamed soooo loud :D

If you are going to ride at Hurjakuru (water rafting) it is better to have second pair of jeans with you, just in case! My t-shirt and jeans were so wet after ride.

Rinkeli is good if you want to take photos of the city from highest point, but it is windy here better hold your camera.

The oldest and one of the best amusement parks in Finland with a classic wooden train - roller coaster. Buy a bracelet for a child (or an adult?) For the whole day and just keep track of where he is.

Nice place to go with either children or teens to young adults, plenty of rides for everyone to enjoy. I would recommend you buy a rist band as this works out cheaper if your staying for the day and going on many rides. Expect typical Finnish prices at shops and when buying food and drinks.

Top Place! Fun enough for the whole day! Value for money also for the smallest of the family. Expensive Car Parking but free places are also within a short walk. You should set aside money for eating but do not own lunch box are not prohibited. Tuliaisliikkeet expensive but unimpeded access throughout the amusement park area. General toilets would be cleaner, and they should be more. Devices have long queues.

About Linnanmäki

Linnanmäki - A Fun-Filled Amusement Park for All Ages

Linnanmäki is a popular amusement park located in Helsinki, Finland. The park was opened in 1950 and has been maintained and developed by the Lasten Päivän Säätiö (Children's Day Foundation) for decades to raise funds for Finnish child welfare work. By visiting Linnanmäki, all customers can support Finnish child welfare work while having fun.

The amusement park covers an area of 10 hectares and offers a wide range of attractions suitable for visitors of all ages. From thrilling roller coasters to gentle carousels, there is something for everyone at Linnanmäki. The park also features various games, arcades, restaurants, and shops that cater to different tastes.

One of the most popular attractions at Linnanmäki is the wooden roller coaster called "Vuoristorata." This classic ride has been operating since 1951 and still attracts many visitors who want to experience its nostalgic charm. Another must-try ride is "Taiga," a modern steel coaster that reaches speeds up to 106 km/h and provides an adrenaline rush like no other.

For families with young children, Linnanmäki offers several kid-friendly rides such as "Pikajuna" (a mini train), "Karuselli" (a carousel), and "Saturnus" (a spinning ride). There are also several playgrounds scattered throughout the park where kids can run around freely while parents take a break.

Apart from rides and games, Linnanmäki hosts various events throughout the year that add extra excitement to your visit. For example, during Halloween season, the park transforms into a spooky wonderland with haunted houses and scary decorations. During Christmas time, you can enjoy festive lights and music while skating on an ice rink or sipping hot cocoa.
