Something confused here.
Parking disaster,
Had to bring someone there emergency. Streets with re li split parking spaces so that sometimes no getting through pickup trucks were blocked because they did not get through the streets. In front of hospital traffic jam.
This seems to be a permanent problem here. Staff situation as everywhere.

My mother was in station 14 for four weeks. Many thanks to all doctors and nurses. Thank you

I'm excited. Miniskus surgery, very friendly reception! Reassuring, very good treatment with the doctors and staff. I felt like in the hotel with coffee and cookies after waking up. Everything went well. I can only recommend. I felt very well looked after. Competence capitalized.

What an incompetent store. My mother was left standing for two hours in the recording. Only when she turned to the staff angrily she was finally taken. Then one day before she was released, she would be given an important drip and, to crown it, she was dismissed without the hospital taking care of the home care service, which they are legally obliged to do. If possible, we will never be consigned there. One hangs on life. Supplement of mine. My mother is not privately insured and yet she got an invoice from the juice shop. Lawyer is on.

With a cut in the thigh about 6 cm long and went deep into the emergency room down to the subcutaneous fat. After registration, wait 20 minutes until triage (initial assessment) ... 6:00 p.m. triage, now it is 7:35 p.m. ... and no doctor or nurse in sight ... Triage worker unfriendly, you will not be greeted once .. No flow of information ...

An excellent hospital. The friendly demeanor of the nurses and doctors was convincing and in every respect. Hygiene is also very important here.

In 2015 and 2019 I was hospitalized in the Protestant Hospital on ward 2 (ENT department). Both times a nose operation was performed. Here with me in the area one of the ENT doctors almost always transferred there and not without reason. Both the doctors, the whole nursing staff and others who have been there are very friendly and very accommodating. Even at the time of discharge, you still get medication for aftercare, which is not a matter of course in every hospital. I could not complain about the food either. At breakfast and dinner you could choose how much rolls or bread you would like to eat and at lunch you could choose between three dishes, one of which was vegetarian. In the hospital near me something is brought to you and if you do not like it, you have been unlucky. Parking is also not the problem, although it is at the front of the hospital directly rarely free, but there are two parking garages nearby, which can be reached with a maximum of five minutes walk. In addition, a shuffle car drives from one of the parking garages directly in front of the hospital (I think every 20 minutes), which is free for the patients.

So all in all, I was very satisfied and should someday in the years again an ENT surgery, I will always go back there.

Too small or too small toilets and they still stink like in rest areas and the blonde working in the information is always in a bad mood and the cafeteria I don't even say

Disaster emergency department:
My husband has been admitted to stroke by the rehab center.

Am currently after circular bodylift at Dr. med. Jandali at Station 15. A super friendly team, trying to make every effort to fulfill every wish, take their time and are all very nice. The food tastes great, you can not complain.

Otolaryngology department is said to take care of tinnitus patients. You will not be taken seriously !!!!!! If cortisone does not work you will be sent home without further ado. One would have to deal with it now and distract oneself. Impossible!! And that's called Tinnitus Center.

Really disorganized. I went there due to extremely bad headache. First it was said that an MRI is made, which was delayed by 3 days. Within that time, I was just given painkillers. Two hours before the MRI, it was said that an MRI can not be done because it is "not emergency." Well, that would be CT and one more nonsense, even though the night I got there I did an MRI After I did CT and that, I wanted to go home because you could not tell me why those headaches were happening, then suddenly MRI, so just rip off, I'm a private patient, I've renounced everything I'm entitled to, but mine I also had no desire to talk about Ibus in the daytime, and I would have managed to get it home at the same time, but on the second day I wanted to get away from a doctor and another hospital. In general, the parking situation can only be described as catastrophic, both for patients and residents. However, it is not the clinic that is responsible, but the city administration. Urban planning runs from very questionable points of view.

For obstetrics:
The family or single room is not worth mentioning. Comparable to winning the lottery or the exception to the exception. So high is the probability that you can see one of them from the inside. And if you get a single room with an extra bed for your partner, that can be changed the next day! Comprehensible due to the enormous crowds of pregnant women, but also absolutely unsatisfactory with fresh offspring and a need for rest.
Showers and toilets in the hallways take some getting used to, but are practical. Movement is good.

The nurses and midwives are all very friendly and try hard. Hats off on the run!
I only saw the chief doctor at the information evening. His focus was on numbers and statistics, and therefore too far from the actual birth. Also understandable due to the post, but it seemed out of place on the info evening between practical obstetricians and expectant mothers.

The senior consultant Dr. Heine is the opposite. Totally friendly, empathetic and definitely top in his field. Anyone who meets him will immediately feel in good hands!
It's no use if you only see him for a preliminary discussion. He says he speaks this and that with the operating doctor, but nothing matters.

Now for the special:
The first time the KS was waited for far too long, so that the baby felt correspondingly bad after birth. It's a shame if the midwife thinks you would only do that. "Yes, it just hurts and is not nice. You have to go through it. Others did it too." No, you don't have to. Also poorly sewn, which later had to be surgically corrected.

The second time it was not recognized that the seam was torn open 1 day after birth. And this despite the fact that I had described clear complaints several times and the stomach was already bulging unilaterally. From Dr. Meyersieck, who had also operated on me, was told me several times that he saw nothing and that was quite normal! That would recede itself!
Since no one could help me, I chose to be released on the third day.
Shortly afterwards, a surgeon in Hanover noticed the hernia with the naked eye. It was easy to feel without imaging. Took less than 5 minutes! Surgical correction was also required here.

Experience with the emergency room:
The doctor in the emergency room let me sign a volunteer statement for an ankle orthosis, without which I could not have left the clinic. Afterwards, the health insurance company refused to pay for the orthosis, since I would have voluntarily decided to do so.

Conclusion: Due to the racing that I had after every treatment in the EV, I can only advise against visiting. Friendly staff can also be found elsewhere.

I always feel that I am in good hands in the EV.
The nurses, physiotherapists, cleaning staff, the ladies who distribute the food and all the doctors were always friendly and attentive! A huge thank you at this point.
During the preparation for the operation, everyone with their relaxed manner took away my anxiety before the operation.
Breakfast and dinner are okay, the only thing not so great is lunch, which unfortunately was almost always cold.
For everyone who is upset about the parking situation, simply use the shuttle service that is provided free of charge.
All in all, the EV will always be my first choice. And once again my fullest respect and great praise to everyone who takes care of the patient's well-being every day.

The hospital is absolutely to be recommended. The doctors, the nurses and the cleaning staff are incredibly nice and competent. Should you injure yourself, you can be happy to be accepted there.

We got our son here in March 2016 and we were looked after here super. We also had a great family room where I could sleep with my wife and son.

Especially the beautiful delivery room and the good care under the birth were great.

Even if I did not expect it before - regarding the emergency room you really need God's blessing if you want to leave this hospital in better condition than you entered it.

Dr. Raffael Hinder is very friendly and accommodating - listen to the patient! He is one of the TOP5 in ENT category!

My neurosurgeon says they go to the hospital in Bochum. Those in Bochum say they have to go to the hospital in Oldenburg. In Oldenburg you are told that you have to go to the hospital in Herne. Spoiled for 2 days (hotel, meals, arrival) Without result ......

Why was there no tranquilizing tablets or sleeping pills when I asked for it, only Rescue?
Is not it more common after an emergency cesarean section, painkillers and narcosis, insomnia to hallucinations? The anesthesiologist sprayed the anesthetic directly into my face, I was again stunned for the emergency caesarean section. I kept up pretty well about two days after birth, but could not fall asleep because I was breast-feeding. Especially my feet and legs were disconcertingly swollen. I was in great pain when I was supposed to get up and hung on the drip, had not eaten for a long time. The birth was in the middle of the night, then I could not sleep in the background with excitement and restlessness in the background. My depression and hallucinations became stronger. Since then psychiatrists have been prescribing me neuroleptics and diagnosing me as "paranoid schizophrenics" - I believed them for a long time and was thus put in a rather dangerous position. As a young mother, I suddenly began to see ghosts and thought of journal reports, the youth welfare office, psychiatrists, at the child's endangerment, neglect and realized how fast you can slip even in such a situation. With these medications and the medical care I felt pretty associal. As a young mom, I could not really rejoice, trying to motivate myself. The diagnosis still shocks me - back then I was at k.o. and unable to act, had no power to defend or argue me, was glad if everything worked reasonably well.
I looked for a psychotherapist and felt ashamed when I told her I was schizophrenic. The Youth Welfare Office recommended that I seek a childminder if I became ill again with such a schizophrenic episode - what I read about the disease on the Internet worried me a lot. A childminder was out of the question for me, I was hoping for a nice daycare place.

Emergency room on Sunday evening: The lady at the registration desk had no smile at all and no trace of friendliness. Thank goodness the doctors and helpers were great and the complete opposite. Super nice and friendly to my son and me

Simply impossible!
I had a nasal bone fracture - after a day the plaster almost fell off so I called and I should come over! While waiting, the plaster fell off and was in pain! No sign of life for an hour! No treatment nothing!

Super nice staff !!! From admission to release, I felt cared for by the nursing staff very well, friendly and competent. A fat plus !!!! Unfortunately, there was no thought of peace. Units directly below the windows start every 3 minutes - around the clock. Undisturbed sleep: no indication. Since the management should urgently think about a noise isolation.

Never Evangelical Hospital. When asked if you could get 1 towel: "we don't have it, it has to dry like this". The bathroom floor was thick with dust. According to the patients, very little is cleaned.

I can only thank all the doctors and everyone who dealt with me. I felt very well looked after. That is not self-evident. Thanks a lot

My experience with the Protestant Hospital Oldenburg is consistently positive. Everything was fine, doctors and nurses were really friendly and helpful In the end, I was really speechless, how fast all the examinations were made and that I was able to leave the hospital without serious findings after only 1 day instead of the forecasted 4 days.

Very great, dedicated, professional team in accident surgery. Station 14 is highly recommended. I felt very well in my 14 days stay. A big compliment and thank you to all!

Staff is nice, but it is not hygienic. I'm on a Saturday here to schuch and the beds are pulled in the room, cleaned and occupied (according to the staff, it would be out in the hall too unhygienic, since it would dust everything). From the door you can scrape the dirt off. Personally, I find it very unhygienic.

Slow, impersonal and getting old. Exhausting when dealing with this hospital.

Unfortunately, you have to wait in the emergency room until someone comes over to the toilet to get the switch. In addition, they wanted to do a CT, because they grabbed the wrong patient with anaphylactic shock, that's actually not necessary.

Depending on which hands you have to go, you are in good hands there. The waiting time before a hospitalization is simply catastrophic and should be better organized.

Today is a Sunday, but there is an ENT doctor here !! I'm so happy.

Patient comes to the ev. Hospital due to a skull bruise. During her stay, her right arm swells and turns blue in places. On demand comes the statement "That can not be bad". After 4 hours waiting in the later stages finally discharge papers. One day later check-up visit to the family doctor because of the swollen arm. Blood test done. Diagnosis: Increased D-dimer values. Suspected thrombosis. Immediate transfer to Pius Hospital. Conclusion: insufficient and grossly negligent.

Bad experience (neurology) very long wait time, bad handling, rude, never again.

From February 25th, 2020 until today, March 6th, 2020, I was on station 15 in the EV. Can only say super nice doctors, nurses and nurses! Not to forget the cleaning lady and the ladies who hand out the food. I felt very comfortable there. Greetings and again a big "thank you" to the whole team.

The doctor was not exactly talkative. Was so processed. I did not go because I wanted an op but that helps me. But there I did not get any help. I will not go there anymore.

This review is based on experience gathered at stations 25, 26 and the delivery room from the current time as well as from 6 years ago:
Meanwhile, my second child was born here and just like the first I am absolutely thrilled with the care, the friendliness and the competence of the midwives, the doctors, the nursing staff as well as the whole service staff!
Despite the challenging and strenuous shift work (at least the most) remain very professional and reliable.

Doctors and nurses do not know what the other is doing, one is not talking to the other. Patients are not held out until the evening.

Here you are treated with a heart. It was a few years ago, but in this hospital I was always treated like a human and not like a number.

Have my third child here and can really only say good things. Great midwives, very nice nurses, breakfast and dinner buffet is great.

I was released after 4 days yesterday. Had a terrible earache before. The doctors were very nice, and the ward staff were also helpful.
I also came as an emergency patient and spent 4 hours in the emergency room, but only because there was no free bed. The ambulance made me wait 2 hours later
already treated. Don't condemn the emergency room just because you have to wait. You know that seriously injured people simply have priority. The End.

1a hospital! After my mother (82 years old) after a serious accident already 4 weeks in another hospital and there it was a single disaster, we asked for transfer to EV-Oldenburg. What a good idea. From beginning to end we are FAST only nice doctors, sisters, physiotherapists, carers ..... etc. encountered. Except for one exception. My mother was first placed on the neurology ward 31, where an incredibly bitchy unbearable doctor (plump, blond and long hair - name unfortunately not known) had service and 48 hours really rude and inaccessible to us showed.
But this was really the only drawback in 3 weeks. My mother was then nursed for 3 weeks at the geriatrics ward 17 and was really well looked after. Lovingly cared for and everyone had a nice word.
Should someone from our family have to go to hospital again, it will be the EV in OL. We also like to take the 1 hour drive from Nordenham on us.

Since one is ordered at a certain time to an OP appointment was increasing and then you sit 30 minutes later still on the station and waiting for his room. Only on request, you will learn that only now the visit is made then someone will certainly dismiss and the room will be cleaned. Before you move the room then. Emergency room is so ... I had a kitchen knife on the foot and I had very heavy bleeding with a very deep stitch injury. At first, when it was little going on, it was quite fix ... Then the misery started with the X-ray and then continued later with miserable waiting times.



The emergency room of Pius was there clearly fixed, but unfortunately they have sent me to the Protestant because Pius has no accident surgery. Very regrettable, because here it made a much better impression.

In the afternoon a visit to an administrative employee, one had
"already" stated that I am a private patient and I received a visit from Prof. Lebiedz offered ?? But rejected by me !!
An hour earlier I had been informed of the release date for Friday, January 12th, 2018. In the afternoon I received the first sensible treatment, risedronate, glucosamine hemisulfate.
Friday morning no breakfast, staff had advice that I should mirror, then breakfast and without another visit around
Released at 10 a.m., promised blood test was also no longer carried out ??
So a haphazard mess and I can definitely not recommend this station with the line!
The final report was also a joke, I would never eat the wrong food or eat meat, I never said. I eat meat, fish and lots of vegetables. The doctor should have listened better when recording and not planned his free time ??
I have nothing against disabled patients, but a Zimmer partner
who was restless all day and always needed help was very disturbing for me. Full lighting all night and the night nurses in the room all the time because this patient couldn't help herself
so sleep was out of the question !!
Something like this is a chaotic planning and I will not recommend the hospital.

I was allowed to give birth to my son there in the middle of March ... It was the best decision to go there and the others in Oldenburg looked at us before ... Great maternity ward and great midwives like sisters ... So, if again iwann what's up EV again and again ... Thank you dear

Delivery room, maternity ward and gynecological department m. E. n. Highly recommended. I was a "special" case with the birth of our child, but - as required by the Hippocratic Oath - was treated very warmly and professionally. I would like to express my thanks again! <3
Midwives, the nurses and the doctors are all very friendly and the climate is comfortable. I stayed on the maternity ward longer than was necessary because I felt very comfortable and was able to concentrate on our little girl. The birth was comparable to the birth in a birthing center. The delivery room is like a small island in the entire hospital - "managed" by very dear midwives. That made me particularly happy.

After 6:00 p.m., even as a patient, you can no longer enter the hospital. Allegedly these are the house rules during the Corona period.
Very illogical, until 6 p.m. there is a lot more going on outside the door and the risk of infection is much higher.

It's a shame, especially in the evening when it cools down a bit outside, you don't have the opportunity to go into the fresh air for a while.

If you stay here for a week it might not be that bad, but if you have been through a month like me, that's ...

From 09/10/20 to 09/17/20 I was treated in the Protestant Hospital, Ward 17. The nursing staff is very competent, patient and friendly. You are in good hands at station 17.

Our 100-year-old grandmother is currently in ENT after surgery. She was taken so caring and competent in the emergency room and now she is very well looked after there. The nurses and doctors talk to her slowly and quietly, she is simply well cared for there and it is reassuring for us as a family to know that there is such a medical competence center in Oldenburg! Many thanks to the named staff!

I was in Ward 23 for a week and had 3 aneurysms operated on in the head.
I felt that I was in very good hands there, and the nurses on the ward were very nice and courteous.
Should I get something like that in my head again, always go back there
