Great place tailored to all ages and open area out back is well designed for events and parties. Good steak and schnitzel leading to the real pub roots.

Nice place. Bar staff friendly. Good food selection

Great place for a family to eat and enjoy the afternoon, if I was too pick at anything it would be to add shade from the outdoor eating area to the playground and jumping castles. Both the jumping castles and the ground get very hot for little feet.

Way too busy. Over priced. Concrete jungle. Rock climbing and live music was good though.

Visited Monday lunch, not recommended. The place looks tired and run down, probably too big to keep clean properly. There's broken glass on the ground just outside the children playground. Lovely staff though.

Unbelievable entertainment for the kids. Real family pub. Live an hour away but will be back.

I travelled from interstate and called 1hr before heading to the pub I asked can I see inside the original ettamogah and have a beer inside I was told yes upon arrival I saw you can't get inside its nothing to look at spoke to the same girl on entry who said she spoke with me not happy after visiting the other ettamogah pubs and. No playground in operation outdated website.

Venue is good but claims to be family friendly but the only change table is in the disable toilet. I would have thought a place that size would have better facilities for parents

The only reason I'm giving this place a 5 star rating is because I can't give 10.
I absolutely love it here. The food is spectacular. The environment is completely family friendly. My kids have an absolute blast. There's not a bad word to say about this place at all. I strongly suggest trying the chicken snitzel. Omg yuuuuuum. I'm coming here every single week now.

Mexicana schnitzel was very good. Surf and turf was good as well.
Brisket and pork belly was really dry. Pasta in the barramundi dish was very bland however fish was nice.
Overall average experience.

Good for families on weekends. Good atmosphere. But like others have said. Too expensive. Food not as good as the Australian Brewery down the road.

Mother's buffet breakfast was terrible. Cold. Not nice. Not a huge range. Better off going to your local cafe. Service will be better with freshly cooked food brought out hot.

Visited on the 3rd of January 2019 to have a feed and a few beers with the family and all i can say the beer was the best tasting out of ANYTHING...!!!

I ordered the Parmy and it tasted like it was 10 days old and had been re-heated and served again.
Da wife had flat head tails and they looked and tasted like they had been in the freezer for months and brought from Franklins...
Terrible food...terrible service from bar and food service area...
Me and my family will NEVER RETURN and i will be letting all my other family members and friends know also.
I hope management read this feed back and change this.
Also, VERY expensive to eat and drink...sorry..but i will stick to my local watering holes in Penrith.

On Christmas Day Ettamogah manager did not allow us in, when we asked whether our five-year old could play for a bit in their playground area. Apparently, one could come in only if they pay $100 per head for lunch & $40 per child. Guess what Ettamogah management and owner/s not everyone can afford such expensive lunches even to celebrate Christmas. Great job at keeping Christmas spirit alive!

Impressive beer selection on tap and great kids playground and jumping castles.

Food was overcooked and oily. Very generous portions though.

It is very spacious but the people can be a bit rough in the evening...

Booked a table for 20 people paid $150.00 for the booking, arrived no table was even set up ready for us, had to move tables around myself. I wasn't told you couldn't get your deposit back in cash it had to be credit ( after I already purchased drinks at the bar with cash) Dinner was $120 so we had $30 we couldn't get back unless we spent it at the bar or on food, I wish I was told this during booking I would have just turned up and threw some tables together myself, I found the male manager rude when I spoke with him, he didn't seem to care we weren't told. The food took so long people had to leave before we could do the birthday cake because people had to wait so long for their meals half the the table were still eating. The food was not great at all, it was a busy night but im very dissapointed because last time I went my food was terrible very dry overcooked salmon, but I thought this time i'd give them another chance, would not recommend the food or service here.

Nice family friendly pub with a big outdoor area (under cover). Large children's play area, rock climbing wall, petting zoo, arcade area. Stage with live band, and multiple bar areas.
Can get very crowded on weekends, and there can be a long wait for food at times.
The food is pretty average pub style food, at slightly high prices, but is a good compromise if you need to combine reasonable food, beers, and kids entertainment all into the one place

Great service, quick service, food from ice cream to steak! Burgers are delicious and mouth watering, there is a rock wall which is fun and breathtaking which children from 6 can use.

Good food, cheap drinks. Super fast service, would definitely go here again.

What a joke! Yesterday (Saturday) I went to the Ettamogah for lunch and I waited almost 40 minutes to get my food and when I eventually got it was very disappointed in the standard, despite being one of the first people to order for the day! I understand this is a kid friendly venue but yesterday I couldn t even sit with my daughter and husband without being disturbed by a massive group of screaming children who YOU are meant to be taking care of for school holidays. The bathrooms were disgusting, considering it was before 12pm and there was no toilet paper begs the question of does anyone even clean them! Overall I was NOT happy as we left our meals half eaten, because we couldn t stand the unorganisation and messiness of the place. I even complained to the manager who was very rude. WILL NOT BE RETURNING!!!!

A good place to unwind and have fun over the weekend. I would recommend this place anytime.

I found the quality of the food was on a steep decline a while ago and hadn't returned for a few months.
They have since changed the menu and all the good stuff is gone. They have reduced their schnitzels to about 1/2 dozen boring varieties now. Which is a shame as that was what made the Ettamogah a few years ago.
$12 Bruschetta was bland and overpriced.
$25 Chicken main was okay but I still think it was overpriced for what it was.
$9.90 Kids meal was the best value although the calamari was again bland.
Soft drink was almost more expensive than a beer.
They have a free jumping castle and playground for the kids which is a god send for us but unfortunately when the kids scream they want to rock climb you're going to have to fork out $15 a person - a complete rip off if you ask me.
There wasn't as much of a crowd as usual for the beautiful Sunday afternoon that it was.
We will no doubt return there again - more for the kids entertainment while we eat.
However I'd much rather spend the same amount of $$$ to get a decent meal in a nice restaurant.

Nice food and nice courtyard. Had not been here for years they have done a good job of the renovations. Great for kids.

This is a great place to bring the family and friends. There is plenty of space to cater for different kinds of occasions.

The food is good pub / bistro style that comes with quick service.

There is plenty of amenities to keep you comfortable and entertained:
1. Covered outdoor area with water spray fans to keep you cool.
2. Arcade games throughout to keep the kids and young at heart entertained.
3. Rock climbing wall
4. Live singer during lunch

This is always a local favourite.

Absolutely had a very pleasant and enjoyable experience on Sunday afternoon with friends at the Etta . Food was quickly served friendly staff all around doing the extras with doing the best cleaning jobs to keep Covid SAFE . I made sure my friends took take away food home as well and those rips so soft absolutely fell easy of the bones were so yummy that they now like to see take away service offered through Uber eats or internal delivery service would be awesome .

Kids enjoy it, good food, good entertainment plenty of space for all.

Well established function areas. Very accommodating with a functional bar tab with bar attendants focusing on function areas, sometimes more than one. Which most places I've found neglect.
Kept tables tidy and UN cluttered. Food was really great and affordable.

Great venue for young families. Has so much entertainment for kids. Food was your standard pub food but with added woodfire pizza menu that was great.

This place is my favourite with my family , friends & neighbours . but last night i was for my sons birthday . waited for Mains to arrive until 9pm . went to see the kitchen staff/Management . No one have any idea that more than 20 customers who paid full price . waiting for more than hours to get their food .We understand things can be wrong , but handling the situation & the attitude with the management wasn't pleasant at all . Management controls the customers who wasn't complain to their favour . such as management was response positively , customers was nice to them . In a situation how will be the customers will nice that refused give any extra such as take away boxes or get their meals before the children go to sleep at 10pm . I received a $100 voucher because i was raised to management the problem . But the Management accused myself that i have been rude . Wasn't rude , as i address the situation with directly to the management & return attitude doesn't looks good as customer service from the Manager at the counter because i raised the problem (No name badge Refuse to give the name .mention as her name after requested 4 times) . when i advised that i will take further action she advised she is the management happy to sit & argue with me in later day (what a shame your attitude rather you should be more polite & friendly as customer point )

Secondly - Security was present admitting that there are cameras all over the place to scare me that get out of the problem . Security person didn't had problem that he was having his stake(Dinner) on time while he was working & eating in front of the customer at the bar counter in main entrance .( senior management should check the cameras rather he scare myself ) As mention things can be go wrong but experiencing of behaviour of management a customer service point was terrible .

i believe all of the customers you had patient should com- pulsate , rather they com- pulsate to me because i spoke to them to the correct point . But they accused me that i was rude . Waiting for 2 hours , kids are crying for bed , having a very bad attitude (such as management act there hasn't had any problem) no say Sorry even . How could Management expect customers needs to be patient .customers are not to be treated as workers any situation .Which they control the customers , which i dont think in customer service point its a good ethical way .

Attention Senior management that needs to advise or dismissed to the female manager last night . This will bring you bad experience Employing such a staff

Wonderful... I had a great night. I enjoyed much the food and the drinks.

Extremely poor customer service and management. Trying to enforce the consumer to drink alcohol, as opposed to swapping it for a much cheaper substance of postmix soft drink. After doing it since the promotion started.
Last time we go here.

Terrible food. Chicken wings were only the middle section with the two bones and tasted like they came out of the freezer and into hot oil. Couple still seemed half frozen. People smoking in the main area while people trying to eat. Over 4 hours for tables to be cleared of plates and glasses. Just not a pleasant experience.

Good Pub, Good Food, Good Customer Service. A little on the pricey side but nothing too major

Good atmosphere , good entertainment, great for the kids (6&10) if you dont mind your kids badgering you for money for tokens to play the arcade machines .
The wait for food was acceptable, considering the volume of patrons .
The rare beef burger was good apart from it not being rare and the chips soggy and cold
And the Americana fries definitely need a re-work , we enjoyed the chicken wings.
The general consensus at our table of 6 adults was that the food was of average quality for the price .

Pretty busy place on the weekend worth a visit good atmosphere all around.
