Despite pre-calling we weren't advised of allowed numbers for their outdoor venue, staff were rude when advising of requirements. Not planning on returning.
(Edit: friends wanted to meet at the Ettamogah tonight, had an ok experience. However many tables outside had groups of more than 10 with seemingly no policing)

Fantastic layout and service considering the volume of people the hotel sees on a daily basis.

Good and generous pub food. Ample parking, good sized rooms for a get-together and decent service at the counter.

not a bad place but food is too expensive and the quality does not justify the price

Food was barely warm when we got it, for the price of it all it was a let down. Should have gone for the woodfired pizzas instead. Kids had fun in the play area though.

Stopped in for a drink with friend. Large venue with plenty of seating and entertainment. Great for kids as there's plenty of play areas.

Attended a family function (20 guests ) Sunday ....VERY BUSY ... we weren't worried about the wait ... however the food when it finally arrived was the worst meal that my husband and I have ever had ... inconsistent timing of meals across the group .. ranging from 20 minutes to 1 hr 15minutes ... steaks were cold ... Caesar salad was just iceberg lettuce with a sprinklING of cold bacon bits and cheese .. another not what they ordered ... seemed like leftovers
Very poor value and 80 of our meals were wasted ...
I would not go back

Lots of kids around and no where to hang with like minded adults. Way to over crowded unfortunately for my liking.

Good pub for people with familys. Has a playground, rock climbing, arcade anf good party area outside.

Music was great bit no one was able to talk the whole night
Kids wete upset because it was too loud

Service good, order a t-bone steak it was like eating a rubber boot and the rest of the family's food wasnt eatable bad experience!!

I just wanted to thank the team at Ettamogah on Saturday during the day for making my daughters birthday so amazing. We made a table booking and despite getting a table we didn t want, we were moved to a better location with the help of Sarah and the manager (I think her name was Robin). Despite being busy and looking like they had 1000 things to do, those two helped us whenever we needed, from cleaning tables to even bringing out our cake. We were only a booking of 8 but it s good to see staff actually caring about all guests, not just those who pay to go there, you don t see that very often these days.

Pink Ribbon Ride, good spot for the start. Thankful to them for supporting the ride, but don't think I will go there for Friday lunch again, we went at 13.30, so after the rush and it still took a while to get our food, I do know it was school holidays. Goid for families. Food was good, no issue there and they are COVID safe.

Awesome place to visit, very family friendly, great entertainment and food is good. Love the environment and good feeling you get from sitting in the outdoor area. Highly recommended

$40 for a low and slow Bbq platter, which is a reasonable price, however the meat was terrible! None of it had any smoke flavour at all, was way overcooked and bland. I doubt any of it spent much time in a smoker at all, I can only assume it is all pre cooked in an oven or something similar. This type of cooking is an art form and takes skill to get it right, This was a huge fail. Slaw was nice..

It's a Woolworths pub so not a lot to say. The food was better than I expected it to be. It's a very busy place on Saturdays so I suggest you book a table even if it's just for 2 to 4 people.

Great place for family's, plenty of kids entertainment in the family room/beer garden.

This is a family favourite with live music and weekly specials. Food is delicious and relatively quick....There is a big focus on child entertainment so your kids will never get bored.

Good atmosphere. Came there at lunch time and it took ages for food to come. Good food too. Plenty of parking and family-friendly

A great place to go if it's not too busy. Can tend to get overcrowded if there's UFC showing or a band playing, and the playground tends to have hoards of older kids running about... not so great if you have little'uns!

Pretty sure I got more food poisoning last visit. The food tasted result good though and the place was really busy but had pretty good turn around times

Ettamoga Pub is a great family pub to have birthdays and have some drinks if your sober go to ettamoga

Fantastic meal. I had the barramundi. Cooked very well. The service was great. Recommended for families too.

A little suprised, all i remembered was a concrete slab and not much happening from my previous visit which don't get me wrong was a long time ago, it is now very inviting and child friendly. Well shaded kids areas secure as long as some other kids parent doesn't let yours out and the arcade is a ball of fun. Could use some maintenance on some of the machines but kids are kids and so are some adults, i can imagine its difficult to maintain.

Large open pub. With a vast range of games and activities to keep even the most energetic big kids occupied. Great for events for the sheer size. Bar wait times can be a little long given the numbers of people passing through.

Good food and cheerful counter service staff. Enjoyed the breakfast and coffee which was priced well.

Waited for over an hour for my lunch before asking for my money back. Bar staff were great but the bistro was terrible. Will not be back. First time last time.

Visited with friends a few week's ago. Really disappointing. Despite being winter it was a lovely evening but we had limited outdoor options...either sit in the noisy undercover area where the only heaters exist, on the exposed verandah area where it was too chilly or the semi enclosed area with the smokers! So, we went inside. Well...what can I say...the tables were shabby & unclean & the atmosphere matched it. Felt like i was in a bad rsl bistro. We found a seat though and ordered some drinks but 10 mins later we were forced to move as smoke from the open air bar wafted into the dining area.

Food is expensive but it was enjoyable. It was the only goid thing about our visit but i could go elsewhere and get waited on for the same $ in a place with more class.

Yet another establishment in this area struggling to decide what kind of venue it wants to be and likely failing to please most.

What a fantastic day! I only just left the venue but couldn t wait to let your team know how good today was. We came to the venue to celebrate Easter, and little did we know you had activities planned! The Easter Egg Hunt was such a good time even for the parents, the two staff helping were so involved and great with the kids. The Easter Bunny was the highlight of the day, with the kids absolutely loving them! Can t wait to see what else you guys can do! Happy Easter!

I was very disappointed on Sunday at the service I received. We were sitting near playground and someone broke a glass near the kids. I went up and asked the first staff member I found to clean. Her name was Isabella and I was told I have to ask someone else because she was running a function and was too busy. Annoyed, I walked inside and spoke to a manager on the pass, I believe her name was Ashleigh. I was told I have to wait 5 minutes for her to find someone to clean it. I went back to the area and waited 15 minutes, so I decided to pick up the glass myself, until a lovely girl called Steph saw us and ran to get a broom immediately. She apologised to us and was very kind. She is the only reason I didn t rate 0, as to put service above safety is not ok.

This place is huge! Lunch menu is good and the food is pretty dam good.

Friendly staff love the steak the lamb shanks were great classic pub food

This place is great if you're a cigarette smoker because there is no real smoking area basically all the smokers are smack bang right in the middle of the whole Centre so if you feel like a dose of cancer visit the Ettamogah Rouse Hill

Great place for adults and kids great food options and drinks although I would say slightly too expensive.

If you're seeking a place to take your young family for a well earned lunchtime meal: this is the place for you: friendly staff and very reasonably priced food!

Good variety of meals on the menu, kids love the playground area which is undercover, lots of parking and indoor and outdoor dining areas

Great for a family outing and kid friendly lots for kids to do while mum and dad relax
