Esplanade - Theatres on the Bay Review

Very interesting building, looks like Durian. There are free shows and great views of Marina Bay. It is the center of performing arts.

Great place. Cafes, restaurants, mall, open air theater.

Little one performed at Recital Studio on his cello and the atmosphere is awesome!

A beautiful building, recognizable architecture, illuminated in different colors in the evening. Convenes a harmonious ensemble of the center of Singapore. Various events take place there, but I myself was not inside.

Marvellous architecture. Singaporeans are obsessed with durians too! Must visit.

Esplanade has some really beautiful view from the top of the building. Do not miss the view of the city from the top during evening times.

I love the design of this building. It's looked extremely elegant, especially at night.

Must visit during late evening for live concerts & to see city sky line specially on weekends.

Only complain is that there was not enough toilet cubicle. Other than that, everything was great.

Architectural design according to durian shape. Deeply oriental culture, the layout and design inside is also very subtle and creative. If you arrive at the right date you can watch the concert for free.

Must recommended if you are going to visit Singapore. Great place, Very pleasant and beautiful. I was there to attend the Pakistani food festival and loved everything about the place.

I didn't have the change to get inside. But for you who enjoy walking outsite of this place.. the view is so amazing.. specially afternoon and the early of evening. All the lights seducing. And when you walk many of the residents here are enjoying the exercises. Cool place to hangout.. recommended.

Excellent facilities, very well laid out. The only issue is that during intermission of shows, the lines for the bathrooms and food gets ridiculously long!

Located above Esplanade MRT station. Very strategic and convenient for enjoying walk around marina bay

Great place! Great Location. Always some free stuffs going on there. Check their website for free and other events. Nearby MRT esplanade and city hall. Area is surrounded by a beautiful park. Toilet facilities is inside the esplanade and in nearby City Link Mall. If someone comes here, visit to Merlion Park and Singapore River is a must.

This architectural icon, with its distinctive twin shells, houses world-class performance spaces complemented by a comprehensive range of professional support services.

One of the must go places if u are visiting Singapore. Free and paid performances are available. There are also many restaurants there.

An incredible venue, right in the heart of the city. Next to beautiful views of Central Business District and the Marina. Esplanade in itself is a beautiful building and becomes the backdrop to so many touristic photos.
The concert and Theater halls are world class and the best in Singapore. There are many shops, cafes and restaurants at this venue, making it a very practical and complete venue.
There is also an outdoor theater next to the water, which creates such a beautiful atmosphere. There are always different cultural or arts showcases going on in Esplanade.
Very big parking space, means that even if more than one concert is happening at the same time, you will always find parking right at the venue and will not have to go looking for parking in other areas. Highly recognizable venue, especially as the Formula One race happens around this venue.

Come soak in some art, music, and gain some knowledge at the library. Restaurants, bars, poster shop, even a record store selling LPs! Always a pleasure being here.

There are free performances and activities for the public as well as ticketed performances. The place will be easily appreciated by those who are into performing arts as there is a public library dedicated to that (theatre, dance, film and audio). They also have visual installations which is changing periodically.

Compared with other buildings, it is slightly inferior, and of course it is already beautiful.

Actually, we were here to Pip's Playbox that located on the 4th floor. But there were balcony with garden and we could see scenery around Esplanade such as Merlion, Marina Bay Sand, Singapore Flyer, etc. Amazing. Too bad it was raining so we could not be there for longer time.

A perfect place to relax. The lights and the view are so beautiful.

It's a nice place to walk through if you're heading to Marina Bay from the underground links. The underpass section by the carpark has exhibitions that change every now and then, so that's something budget tourists can do. There's a public library branch that specialises in film and music. And a roof top garden that has a view of the bay rarely seen by the tourists' eyes.

An important place for performances in Singapore. Sadly, a terrible space for visual art.

Beautifully designed and build that blends in to the surrounding. One of my favorite spots to visit and chill. Tourists also likes to visit the place as well.

The show is beautiful, regarding the bar they charge you 20 dollars including a drink, the view is perfect to capture the architecture of the hotel, but the service leaves a lot to say .. lousy !!!

Beautiful place. You can walk enjoy walking, architecture around, lovely Singapore weather. You can take brake time and enjoy meals, coffee, drinks...here you can find good choice restorantes, cofes with stunning wiev. And you can enjoy every evening music fountain laser, lights 13-15 minutes show 20.00 & 21.00. Show not some wow...or fabulous, unforgettable, but beautiful light show. Music little bit to loud, fountains to far you can see and hear good. But light, laser show ir good, looks great. You can relax, stay here and enjoy all what you can see around, people, both swimming in river.
