We had the mc gregor Mac and cheese, also the buffalo Mac and cheese, they were amazing. The hostess/waitress was super friendly and helpful. Anytime we are in town this will be a must have.

I have a mixed review. The food we had was awesome as was our waitress. We also liked the decor even tho it was a little loud there. The problem was when we tried to order for pick-up. We were told we could order until 10 pm but when we ordered at 9:30 we were told the kitchen closed early - on a Friday night. That was a disappointment.
Great Irish Pub food. The place looks phenomenal inside and out as well as having a flavorful menu even being a somewhat large menu. A true Irish Pub restaurant that should be proud of their accomplishments. Everything was great and I can't wait to keep coming back and trying more of there dishes. I will update this post if I come across an issue with food or service although in the 3 times I have been there, I nor anyone in my party has had any complaints. The only one I had was seeing the bottom of glass of Guinness LOL.
This was incredible, down to my kids chicken strips, which were clearly made in house and perfectly cooked and seasoned. The fish fry was great too.
Although the traditional Irish food is very tastey, average items off menu were average at best. Service was very slow for a very busy weekend night. Server said it was because they were short staffed however, three tables that came in after us got served before us and our appetizer was cold.
St Paddy's Day was AWESOME!!! Great bands, Great food, and Ashley was our server and she was Amazing!!! The Green beer was ice cold!! Great job!!
Cool place, two of our dishes were served cold. Food is decent otherwise.
Great food! The employees worked very hard to please there customers. A must to go back.
Not particularly busy, but we had to wait for a table. We were ignored by every bartender at the bar. Fortunately we were seated pretty quickly and ordered a drink at the table. The food was good. Our waitress had to tell us about her busy double shift where a co-worker called in.
It was soo nice! It was clean and actually pretty inside! I was with a party of 4 and we liked it alot! My food was excellent. I chose the OReilly Rueben!! Terrific. I also chose the sweet potatoes fries!! Very good!
I feel in love with the place as soon as my two guests and I walked in!! I felt as though I was in a beautiful castle. The separate dining rooms added to the charm. The service was top notch and the food was wonderful!! I'm so happy I chose Erin's!!
great food, very nice beautiful atmosphere service was decent, our waitress could have been a little more attentive overall very nice place for brunch
Had the Irish breakfast and the Guinness cake! Tried the pineapple cider. Everything was amazing!
Best fish and chips I have had this side of the pond
Lovely place. Great exterior and interior. Huge place, love the decor. Service was good, friendly staff. The fish and chips though? I wouldn't recommend it. My 3 fish (more like 2.5 fish) were pretty dry and not very tasty. Fries and coleslaw was good though. I had some of my friends Ruben though and it tasted delicious. So I plan on coming back and trying more food.
All the food and drinks are good, but it's a special treat if you enjoy traditional Irish cuisine. Their Scotch and Irish whiskey flights are also a lot of fun if you enjoy tippling. The restaurant is quite large, so even when the parking lot is full there's rarely a wait of more than a few minutes.
Food was amazing. Service was wonderful. Will definitely be back!
Awesome bangors and mash. Great outdoor patio. A must stop!
Amazing food!! Loved the atmosphere. Waitress was amazing. Cool looking place. Highly recommend
Beautiful atmosphere. Clean everything. Food was tasty, also.
Lovely atmosphere and great menu selection. Wide variety of draft beer both local and imported. On the pricey side but the service is usually spot on.
The walnut burger was awesome, and the fruit was fresh. We'll be back.
Clean, like vivid clean. Distanced seating. Handicapped parking and building access. Good food. Great service. Drinks seamed a bit lite. Great atmosphere. Decent prices.
Great fish fry, great atmosphere. Would highly recommend.
Had business gathering here where appetizers were served. The Scottish eggs were wonderful
Food was great..
Just don't expect to leave full... I was done eating my shepherd's pie after about 5 bites... yes it was delicious but it was about the equivalent of eating one slice of pizza for 15.00
A great place for catching up with friends over drinks or some food. A very unique layout that allows for a somewhat different experience each time due to the varying themes/decor throughout.
When it comes to food, no need to wait until St. Patty's Day to get a thick juicy, mouthwatering slice of corned beef and cabbage. You can just come here!! Side note...I typically hate cabbage, but I can't ever seem to leave it behind with this dish. The juice they have it in makes it phenomenal!!
Don't worry, it wasn't a one time thing with this typical St. Pattys Day delight either. I've been here one year for St. Pattys and had it and I had it another time in October. Both times it was just as fulfilling as expected! I've tried other items off the menu that were great as well, but my heart lies with only one dish haha. The various other people I've gone with have always liked their meals as well. Enjoy!!
Do not order here on St. Patrick's day. We called our order in for pickup. When we arrived they were packed as if no pandemic was occurring. No masks (except employees) in sight. The food NEVER CAME. I waited the hour they told me it would be before arriving then after arriving I waited 45 minutes in the dingy back hallway for nothing. I asked to confirm that they had received my order and was told "no" with no explanation. I get that they are busy. But that is extremely poor service. I will not return.
Great bloody Mary's. The best thing I've had on the menu is the Reuben quesadilla, it was amazing!
The food and service were both great. The restaurant and bathrooms were clean and well - kept.
Awesome time! Awesome food!! Awesome ambiance!!! Our waitress Nicole was the best Made for a wonderful date night
Couldn't be happier with the ambiance, service and menu options. Great beer and drink selection as well. Highly recommend if passing through Madison, WI.
Great beer selection and delicious Irish fare. Recently celebrated a birthday party here with extended family and the staff was very accomidating by allowing us to have a private room and bring in a cake. Our waitress last visit was awesome. Try the Irish stew with a Guiness!
The food is always excellent. Still as close to authentic without traversing an ocean.
The staff and entertainment was amazing on St. Paddys day. The corn beef and cabbage, not so much.
Loved the different drink options compared to normal places and the food was awesome. I will return to try more of it soon!
One of the best places to enjoy Irish themed bar eats and drinks!
Jerry (the owner) is the best! I have not had better Scotch eggs. Not sure how they do it but the people here are always great.
Great place to watch some football! We were part of a wedding rehearsal so food choices were limited but VERY tasty! Lots of drink options!
Always great service and great food! I ve been to Ireland and their food at Erins always makes me feel like I m back in Ireland. Very authentic food!
Had cheeseburger topped with a brat. New experience there. Awesome chocolate cake for desert.
Consistently slow service. I've been here 5 times over about a year. I have yet to receive great service. The food is fair and the atmosphere is great but go when you have time to spare and can enjoy conversation with friends while you wait.
The food was excellent. Atmosphere was traditional with modern touches. Staff was very attentive and friendly. Every time I visit Madison, I make a point to stop there
We love this place! It is beautiful and has a great outdoor bar and patio.
Good service but food is a little over priced .... From other places with Irish food.
Great place to grab some lunch. Good prices and excellent food. I recommend the pastrami sandwich
Sweet potatoe fries were excellent! Ribeye steak was very good and so was the Jameson old fashioned.
Was there with a large group. Got us right in, excellent food, drinks were awesome. Service is top notch. Will eat there again when I'm back to Madison!
Just stopped for a drink. Great selection of beers on tap for my taste.
Food and service are good, great place to get a beer or drink. Great atmosphere and beer selection. Lots of private rooms to gather.
I had a great time at this place with delicious food! If you re coming in to sit at the bar during a week day, ask for Paul. He s a great server that makes really good recommendations on food if you re not sure what to order. They ve got the best Shepherd s Pie in the area too.
Food was properly seasoned. Atmosphere was warm and cozy.
Amazing food. Awesome authentic Irish atmosphere. A definite Madison must try!
Great selections of beer on tap including Irish brews. Excellant choices of entrees and sandwiches. Love this Irish pub!
Hard to understand the server, great food would recommend to anyone
Food was mediocre. I was skeptical when I saw they featured quesadillas. The main problem was it was very slow. It took forever to get out food on a Saturday night even though it wasn't busy. I will not go there again.
Great Food!!
Bangers and mash was incredible.
Best French Onion soup around
I will definitely go back.
It's really nice inside too!
Ample at best..............only way I would stop back is if I was on fire and needed a glass of water. Just saying!
Great food, lots of variety on the menu, very friendly staff and GUINNESS! Highly recommended!
Had a delightful shepherds pie. Irish beer and booze selection is lengthy.
The food was great. We sat outside which was very nice. Only downside, the waitress never brought the water I asked for and didn't come back to our table until she brought our bill, so I didn't have an opportunity to remind her. My husband was going to get another drink but since she had brought our bill, we just left instead.
What a beautiful pub! A lot of interesting bits of art and decor to admire. Great food and beer selection. I had the Shepherds Pie with a Black and Tan and the gf had Kai's Mahi Mahi. Both were very good. Next time I hope to try the Guinness Stew or O Dana s Bangers & Mash.
I was actually excited to try this place. The atmosphere is pretty cool and had so much potential. But our service was terrible. We ordered within minutes of being seated (looked at the menu ahead of time)them 45 min go by and we still haven't seen our waitress or our food. Another 10go by after I went to the front desk to inquire. The food ended up being cold and below amateur level. For the price I was hoping for higher level craftsmanship and flavor in the food. But alas... Not at this Irish restaurant.
Hardly anyone there when we went on Saturday for lunch and simple burger and chicken sandwich took a while to come out. Burger was simple and bland, soda was flat.
Check list for Irish pub;
1. whiskey? check.
2. beer? check.
3. food? who cares?
Great selection of 1 & 2 and the food is quite good as well. Not bad for an American restaurant posing as an Irish pub.
Tried this place before with a friend and I am addicted since then. I liked the good atmosphere and delightful dishes and drinks. Fantastic work.
The food is very good and the atmosphere is great, worth the price!
We have been to Erin s multiple times and have always loved it (we have even had celebrations dinners here, we enjoyed it so much). Today was definitely not what we have experienced in the past. We ordered for carry out Corned Beef and Cabbage (we ve loved this before), Farm House Stew and McGregor s Mac and Cheese. Each meal was charged an extra $1 compared to the prices listed online and there is also a carry out fee of $1.50 which I didn t see listed. The Mac and Cheese tasted fine but was less than the kids portion that we have had in the past when dining in. The Farm House Stew was okay. The corned beef, which we have had multiple times in the past and loved, was so off putting. The meat and cabbage were both just cooked but not enough to be tender as you would expect. It had red potatoes and only baby carrots that were not cooked. The worse part of it was the water that it was in-not a broth, plain water with no seasoning. Super disappointed. Hoping it was an off night but reluctant to go back.
Nice Irish themed restaurant and they have a good selection of different types of food. A little bit of something for everyone. They do have big screen TVs throughout and would make a great place to get together for a football game.
I love the environment of this restaurants such a fun place
