I used The Equity Company to manage my rental property. They were able to find me a tenant and get the property leased almost immediately. They managed the property for eight years and all with same tenant. There were very few issues with repairs, etc and all were handled fast, cost effectively and to the satisfaction of both the tenant and myself. When it came time to sell my place, they also acted as my real estate agent. We received five offers within the first two weeks, all above asking price. As another testament to the quality of service, my previous tenant rented another unit from him and is still a tenant of his today. Would absolutely recommend.

Transparency would have been nice. When asked if they solely looked at credit score, I was told "no, we look at everything". That was a lie. Had I known, I would have saved the $40 application fee. If you don't have perfect credit, save your money and look elsewhere.

Andy Gilcrest from the Equity Company has been instrumental in orchestrating the sale of our investment property in the context of challenging times (Covid). For many years, Andy and his team have been our property management company and our go to real estate broker. We had a difficult tenant situation and being a skillful negotiator, he was able persuade the tenant to move without going through an eviction proces, minimal time null damages, find multiple buyers and offers within one showing, and getting the property in pristine tip-too condition for the new buyers to move in on time. This was a win-win situation and through the process Andy listened, was patient, and show utmost professionalism. We will use the equity company for future real estate needs. I highly recommend his firm!

The Equity Company has been managing our rental since 2004. We have always been impressed on how responsive Andy and his team, not only to our needs, but the tenants' too. We know that they truly care. We had some landscaping improvements done in May 2020 and he made sure that our tenants and neighbors feel at ease and safe. His assistant Julie took care of all the Homeowners Association's requirements and was communicating with us and the tenants throughout the process. We could not have done it without them. Andy and his crew at The Equity company are awesome. While stationed oversees with the military, Andy looked after our property. We were so impressed when we moved back into the area we kept him on. Professional and responsive! Awesome service.

We rented from Andy/Equity Company for a year. Andy and his team went out of their way to help us find a replacement home when the owner decided to sell and made the showing process easy and convenient. Any time we had a problem or question, we heard back very quickly.
We also wanted to make sure we received our bond back so we asked that any problem areas be communicated back to us beforehand. They accommodated our request, no problem. We couldn't be happier with the service and communication we received and were sorry to part ways. If the owner hadn't decided to sell, we would have gladly kept renting with The Equity Company. Highly recommend!

Over past 17 years, I've had rental property in three states. Equity Company was by far the best. Always responsive and easy to deal with. Not one of the tenants selected by Equity ever missed a payment. Great owner. Great staff.
