Epsomedical Day Surgery Review

Horrible experience ! Authoritarian, Arrogant and bureaucratic nurse, giving orders to the doctors and patients ! Now I Understand why so many people take legal action against the NHS.

In 2017 the lung specialist lost my X Ray but made up for it by sending me to have a CT scan privately instead. The waiting time is dreadful at Cobham hospital. You may have to wait 1 to 2 hours at worst as far as I am concerned. Take the whole day off if you really have to attend this hospital, don't have other commitments that day.
Kingston hospital is fast, you are being seen at the exact time of your appointment, never over 5 minutes of your appointment time.

Had day surgery today and so impressed. Immaculately clean.Welcoming and friendly staff.Admitted then saw surgeon who was very jolly and reassuring. Staff had time for questions. Recovery was shared with other beds but curtains and single sex. newspaper's and drinks provided and top of the range biscuits even. Summary sheet of what had been done with details of what you can and can't do.Like a private facility but NHS.

This is a really bad hospital as I went there last Friday and they put me under so much stress as didn't take in to consideration about me having a needle phobia what I put on the form before coming and didn't take the time to read it all because they were running hour and half late and the staff were also quite rude to me and mum and I've had it rebooked for today and since being there last time it has stressed me out even more about coming back today

I had a cortisone injection in my wrist and the surgeon was very skilled as I have my old wrist back again! Free parking, professional receptionists and nursing staff plus literally 5 minutes sat in the waiting room that is spacious, clean and comfortable. It s worlds apart compared to depressing Kingston Hospital so I ll make sure I m referred here for any future ailments

I have had surgery and ophthalmic treatment over a couple of years now and the quality of care is always awesome. Always informed throughout any procedure and a true caring hospital. I have the highest praise

This is how local hospitals used to be and should be once again. Small, friendly, efficient and I personally have never had to wait long.

Temp checks, very efficient very covid aware and clean

Had day surgery for bowel cancer screening and although they were running late I felt the staff were extremely caring and kept me informed all through my treatment. The air conditioning wasn't working on the hottest day of the year for which they kept apologising but my concern was more for them than me as they would have to suffer all day.
Cannot fault any aspect of my experience and feel very lucky to be able to have this procedure available to me. Thank you all so much.

The appointment for day surgery was on time and everyone involved made me feel relaxed and cared for. The surgeon checked on my well being before and during the procedure and gave clear advice re my recovery. I would recommend to others.
