Very quick and easy. I was able to choose the car I wanted with the help from some helpful staff.
Drop off was perfect. I dropped the car off at 4:30 a.m. The staff was friendly and awake at that time. By 4:35 I was on the shuttle back to the airport. Even the shuttle driver was so friendly. Thank you Enterprise for making my trip easy.

Although booking agent swore up and down over the phone that the rental office at Raleigh-Durham would stay open until our flight arrived and we picked up our car THEY CLOSED BEFORE WE GOT THERE! What up booking agent? It was a horrible experience and I will NEVER trust the guy on the phone again. We did not end up renting from Enterprise because no one was there. National saved our trip at 12:30AM in the pouring rain. Thanks National!

As someone who has had nothing but favorable experiences at Enterprise, this rental did not start well as I'll attempt to describe below:
1. The bus pickup at the airport terminal went well
2. However when I arrived at the check-in location at the Raleigh-Durham airport on a Sunday evening, I was surprised to find a line with approximately 10-15 persons in it and only 1 person working at the counter.
3. The counter person worked well and efficiently, but it resulted in a wait of about 20 minutes
4. Next outdoors, there were probably 5 people waiting ahead of me for their cars.
5. When they called my name, I was informed that the only car available was a large SUV which I could have for a $10 daily upgrade charge. When I said no, the person assisting me began walking approximately 150 yards to the car washing area.
6. In about 5 minutes, there arrived a "Jeep" which I turned down.
7. Then approx 10 minutes later a car arrived totally wet which I accepted and began my journey after attempting to wipe some of the windows so that I could see out of them
7. Next on the road I was suddenly confronted by a "Toll Road" and passed under a set of flashing lights obviously capturing my car on their cameras. I was surprised that as an out of state driver, I was not alerted to this type of toll taking technology and how it would be handled
8. Upon returning the car, I was treated very nicely and the woman explained that the toll charge would likely be forwarded to Enterprise and I would be charged at a later date. When I explained my frustrations with this overall rental experience, she offered me a 10% discount on a next rental at this location.

I hope this is an exception experience and that I will not have to return to National or Budget for a next rental experience

I cannot say enough good about my experience here.

I want to directly point out who made this experience so positive, Jason Dudley. After a long day of flying I was greeted with a smiling face and a warm handshake. He told me he wanted to make the experience as smooth and fast as possible, as it was late and I was tired.

Jason personally took me to the car and showed me around and showed me all the car s features and how to use the car. After we were done, he explained everything about the rental and explained why I should pre-pay for fuel. What a great idea! Pay for it ahead and they ll fill it up upon return!

Thank you Jason! What an amazing experience!

Agent tried to "upgrade" me to a gas guzzling Jeep. Had to raise a fuss to get econo car. I had to sign "rental agreement " stating I had read terms of agreement. The terms of agreement would only be emailed to me to read after I signed. Forced to sign or find another rental car. Agent stated that wife could drive at no extra charge. Finally, when I read the TOA it stated I was the only authorized driver. Not what I expected of enterprise.

Thanks Enterprise for leaving me and my daughter s...

Thanks Enterprise for leaving me and my daughter stranded from California. Booked a rental with my debit, flew into raleigh, nc and was driving to do a college tour in virginia after our soccer event in NC.my flight would leave the following day from Norfolk, Va.
Got to enterprise and they would not let me pick up my rental with my debit card because my flight was leaving out of Norfolk, Va and not Raleigh, NC.
I was on the phone with a representative when i booked this car on line following their prompts, disvussing my trip, and was not told this was a policy. I rent locally a lot and have never had any problems.
Waiting until I am on the other side of the United States to tell me that me and my daughter were stuck was the worst customer service I have ever experienced.
The "Manager" said he really wished he could help me but that was "above his pay grade".
I dont use credit cards and I shouldnt be punished for using the money I actually have available vs. living the American dream by living off credit cards that are designed to keep people in debt. Policy makes zero sense anyway, credit cards are easy to dispute and get away with not paying, my debit card is linked to my checking account, where all my funds go and direct deposits from my employer...
On top of just my personal experience, while I was outside on the phone making arrangements for a long bus ride to Virginia, I heard one of the girls yelling to the other guy moving cars to "hurry your ass up" and 2 other flunkies that were checking in cars were mocking the customer that just got out. While they didnt realize I was standing next to the side of the building they were working, I realized that this enterprise has a bunch of kids working there that have no interest in customer service.
You must do better if you want to keep loyal customers. they prob dont care that they ruined my daughter's day that i was trying to spend with before she goes to college, but maybe someone reading this will take their business to a more reputable company.
Thanks for nothing enterprise. I am so glad that my daughter got to see what jobs people who did the bare minimum in life have to do for a dollar.

Great service, great car. When we got to the Enterprise lot (after 10:30 PM) there were still several employees at the counter, all ready and willing to help. As we were checking in, the rep helping us told us that there were no more reservations pending for the night and since their lot was very full, we could upgrade to any vehicle we wanted for $10/day.

There was an InfinitI QX80 on the lot, which we took. Sweet ride.

The care was comfortable, and drove nicely, the only complaint about the car (nothing to do with Enterprise) was that we couldn't get the navigation system to stop forcing directions on us, for a destination we never input. We could mute the instructions, but only for that trip, and they instructions were back to loud and insistent the next time we started the car.

Everyone at the lot both for pick up and drop off were extremely (and genuinely) nice and helpful. We had a really good weekend in Raleigh/Durham, largely because everyone we ran into there was so nice.

Great pickup and vehicle but couldn't get ahold of anyone to ask about 3am dropoff. Got there with fingers crossed and sat at the gate until we saw someone back there and they told us to go across the street. There should be clear instructions somewhere by that gate about overnight drops, especially if they're going to give you a business card but then not answer or call back. Otherwise everything was good. Easy to drop once we knew how and appreciated the shuttle at that time of night.

GMC Yukon Drop Off Fee (Charlotte NC)

GMC Yukon Drop Off Fee (Charlotte NC)

Good Morning Sir,
Thank you for providing excellent customer focus, excelling at ensuring smooth transitions for weary travels, and keeping your team performing at the highest level. July 2019 is a record for heat ever recorded on this earth.

You are great at leading and must not be overlooked for executive training. Corporate headquarters must elevate your unique skill or soon another customer will bring you onboard when their itinerary creates the opportunity to hire you. Please share this with your supervisor and team. Steaks cooked by me next time I visit RDU.

Now business out of the way, let s have fun. Need to drop on brand new GMC rental in Charlotte, NC. It is a wonderful vehicle, drives smoothly, and so comfortable.

As a disabled veteran is will challenge me too much to drive back to RDU on Monday. There is too much construction on I-85. I have arranged to depart from Charlotte after my family reunion this weekend.

There is an Enterprise location near Trade street in downtown Charlotte. I will drop off the vehicle on Monday as a change in return location. My body is just beginning to recovery from driving here.

Originally, I had planned fly here from Tucson, however the only flight available landed at 1:50 a.m. Not a good time for a disabled traveler to arrive, pick up vehicle, and get to lodging. It took me two hours after getting in vicinity of hotel to finally park in another location, walk around asking for directions, and even have law enforcement say there was not a Residence Inn in downtown.

It is co-located at the Marriott AC Loft property. I had parked right across the street from the AC Loft, but did not see the Residence Inn sign. All is well now. Vehicle is with Valet, I will drive it carefully, and purchase one from Enterprise Car Sales. This will be my third Enterprise car purchase.

Let me know what the drop off / one way rental is projected to be. I separate credit cards used when traveling because of the additional blocks placed by hotels, rental cars, gas stations, etc. Gas stations are the worst. If I only top off at a rest break putting $15 in tank, they will block $150. This forces me to go inside and prepay in cash. It is their methodology to prevent gas not paying.

Thanks again for everything, especially the additional insurance recommendation.

Recommendation: For adaptive vehicles, how about parking them away from main rental area as an option. This gives the drivers an option to familiarize control transition and new positions of controlling devices.

Team Enterprise,
Thank you for the goodness and support during this trip. Your representative addressed all my concerns when I called this morning.

Prime rib dinner cooked by me on my next stay at the Residence Inn (RDU). Plan for a November 2019 timeframe.

Enjoyed this Enterprise adventure! Totally amazing customer focused service with ample professionalism. Stay onboard with Enterprise, it always a smooth transition.

As an enterprise platinum plus member and someone ...

As an enterprise platinum plus member and someone who has been to almost every major US city's airport enterprise location, I can say with utter confidence that this is the worst Enterprise in America. Service is poor, when I arrived there was at least a half an hour long line to get a car, the car was old as far as rentals go, had cigarette smoke burns in the car seats and a maintenance light when on about half way through my trip. The worst part though was my return. I had pulled in first and the african american gentleman Jeff literally bypassed me and went to help the gentleman who pulled in after me. As he was walking in to get the other customers receipt, I asked him if there was a key drop. He responded in a rude tone stating to just leave the keys in the car. This airport I will be going to Alamo next time in hopes of better service. Good luck

Excellent staff. Often I have found the cars are not well maintained. My last rental, the car had a very bad smell of something related to popcorn+butter, which gave all of the people in the car a headache.

Enterprise has a business model in the automotive rental industry that is very good. Reasonably priced, good customer representatives, a process that is efficient, clean solid cars; a consistent product. Their policy of pickup and return is real helpful.
My only reservation in the rating is telephone operation overall. Calls not returned occasionally, inconclusive menu functionality, sometimes interminable holds. An improvement here would make this a 5 star rating.

Best experience I've ever had. At pick up the desk attendant came out and checked over the car with us then we zipped right out of the gate. On return the attendant was very friendly and asked if there were any problems. Not that I expect all the attention but it was sure nice to get it.

When I rented my car; I pulled off the lot and something told me to look at my receipt because I remember the rep stating the tank was full and I noticed it wasn't. I had to call in about that. Then when I got to my hotel and parked for the night; woke up the next morning and had a flat tire. I had to bring the vehicle all the way back to the location. Usually they offer to bring you another car or tell you to take it to the nearest location. That didn't happen. Upon rushing I left a personal item in the car; I noticed it right away. I called the office and they stated they looked in the car and didn't find the item. I find that hard to believe. Very displeased with my service at this location. The only good thing was the rep who checked me out gave me a discount for my trouble. I really appreciated that.

Our experience with Enterprise at RDU was second to none. The staff was so friendly and kind and helpful. The SUV we rented was awesome. And the drop off part was so easy. We arrived to drop off on a very early Sunday morning and the staff / man who greeted us was so kind and personable- even at 6 am ;). We were so exceptionally impressed by the whole operation. And even better was the man who picked us up and dropped us off on the bus!!!Super staff and fabulous experience!!!

Fantastic experience. My customer service rep, Patrick, assisted me with finding the perfect vehicle for my stay in NC. It was a pleasure to drive and the whole Enterprise team was very friendly. Shuttle service was instantaneous, a relief as some airports cannot meet this demand. Highly recommend

Very disappointing. While some of the individuals working there are nice and cheery, the mode of operation leaves much to be desired. At the time of rental, we were told the Rental Agreement (RA) would be automatically and immediately sent by email and they do not give hard copy any more - rather strange but this is the procedure they are following. A day later, no sign of the RA. We tried to call their office and after an hour of multiple attempts and being automatically sent to various options, we were connected to a central supervisor who told us she could not call them, but could send an email reminding them. We ended up taking 2 hours of our scheduled activities the next day to go to the rental location and demand a hard copy. They said they are too busy to answer the phone and the email we and the supervisor sent went unanswered. The saga continued, but this is enough. We will not rent from them again, at least in this location.

I love Enterprise, but I wish this location had early drop off. They allowed us to return to National Alamo across the street, but it would have been good to know before hand. I had an early flight and it was kind of a pain. Will change to 5 stars if they either communicate this information up front in the future or allow early drop off.

I arrived very early to Enterprise (5am). Even at that hour the staff was extremely friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The vehicle was exactly what I expected and was perfect for my trip. Upon return, the staff was once again, very helpful and friendly. The airport shuttle is very timely and the bus drivers are fun to talk to. Would rent from Enterprise in RDU again.

Received car with leak in tire. Due to nature of rental we were unable to exchange the car prior to final return. We called Enterprise to see what the options were. Their only suggestion was to exchange the car which was not feasible. Our only option was to refill the tire 2x per day.

Upon return of the car, Enterprise agent was able to provide ~15% discount for our trouble and stated that there were other options that we could have taken to fix the leak even though we were told differently prior.

Aside from the leak in the tire, overall satisfaction was good and would have provided a 4 or 5 star rating if Enterprise had provided correct information the first time to fix the leak or if there was no leak to begin with.

No one ever tries to scare me into getting the Enterprise coverage or up-sell me in any way. Easy check in and quick trip to terminal on their shuttle bus

We had a really pleasant pick up experience in this Raleigh Airport location. However, we didn't expect to have such a terrible experience after everything was over. At pick up, the young man sold us insurance for the car to protect us from being responsible for damages (he said there was no real difference between the cheaper and more expensive plan) and even let us pick up a bigger car than we expected. We needed to drop off in Jacksonville at a location that was closed on Sundays but we were reassured that there wouldn't be any issues because the camera would see when we dropped off. After dropping it off Sunday we walked around the vehicle to check for damages (of which there were none) and then dropped the keys in the box. Monday night around 6:30 pm someone from Enterprise called and said there was a dent on the car and we were being charged our deductible- without providing any details of the damage or extent! We went back the next morning requesting pictures and they said they didn't take any because they had been too busy. It had already been rented out again. The workers at the Jacksonville location said they didn't have any proof and all the paperwork was sent to Raleigh.

We are very upset with the lack of transparency during the sales process and the lack of professionalism during this damage process. Enterprise was not forthright with their drop off policy. We were never warned by any of the sales team not to drop it off on Sunday's or that we would be responsible until the following morning.

Lesson of the story: NEVER drop off after hours. Or better yet, do not rent with enterprise.

Everything was great with check in and the car . The treatment I received when I returned the car was the worst. I rent a car every few weeks for a week time frame for work. I am platinum member and always got amazing service at ever branch except at Raleigh Airport. I asked for a ride to my hotel 1.5 miles away I was told no. Enterprises advertise that we will deliver you a car, pick you up or drop you off. This branch said to take a Uber - Not about the money of the Uber cost but about taking care of loyal customers- I will no longer rent from Enterprise and already sent a memo to my 40 employees that travel - if anyone submits expense report with enterprise we will not reimburse them.

Picked up from RDU, car was clean, smelled good and full tank of gas. The line was a bit long as they are taking care of Enterprise, National, and Alamo rental consumers all at one location; National. Great service, pleasant folks even though customers were rude to them. Happy to be a Emerald Guest & Enterprise preferred.

Our recent experience with Enterprise was nothing ...

Our recent experience with Enterprise was nothing like we experienced before. We rented a truck from Raleigh/Durham airport this past weekend. The 1st truck was dirty inside and out so we switched to a different truck that was clean on the outside but not on the inside! At that point it was too late to change because we had to get to Greensboro by a certain time.
I had to sit on towels the entire time we had the rental due to the seats being so soiled with appears to have been chocolate or some other type of food stains. The arm rest also was heavily stained with food. Inside the console there were left over Starbucks trash along with food particles inside. We had to purchase fresheners to place inside the truck to try and knock out the food smell that flowed throughout the truck, especially when the A/C was on.
I rent from Enterprise quite often and I am a Plus Member, I am really considering renting from another company if this is the way they are delivering their product to their customers.

The customer service from the front desk to the guys that checked us out was great. I think the problem is with the employees that clean the vehicles up! Maybe try paying them a little bit more so they will care about cleaning the vehicles well. Maybe shampooing the interior of the vehicles that are heavily stained before renting them out so quickly!!

Check in was quick and easy. Staff was very professional.
Car was clean.
Turning in the vehicle was also quick and easy. They had asked if they could send me the receipt via email and I stated that would be okay.
However, when I received the invoice via email there were over $200 in extra charges that I did not agree with.
I called the office right away and they had credited my account with no problem at all. Staff was great.
In the future I will review my contract a lot closer.

The last two times that I have rented a car there were not enough counter staff available to assist. This past week there was only one clerk available. He was a very nice young man and could only do so much.

Once I got to the counter, the paperwork was quick, and the employee who took care of us in the lot was efficient and very personable.

Dropping off the vehicle was very quick and I was able to get on the shuttle within minutes.

Great people are working at pick up center. Attentive and accommodating. However it was hard to find return car place and address. I drove 3 times in and out of airport. Google show address for Enterprise shows 1008 Rental Car Dr, but you can not drive in there it is pick up place. Return place across the street 1001 Rental Car Dr are not shown and the road sing was obscured by overgrown bushes. I call for assistance with not so great result. Would be nice if inside car put small card with addresses and phone numbers.

When I went to pick up all their systems were down so all the info had to entered manually which led to delays. Then I called Enterprise a few days later to extend my rental. The 1-800 customer service rep couldn't extend my rental as they had RDU airport location listed as a branch and not an airport. I tried to call the airport location 10x and they never answered. Eventually I got it extended through the 1-800 rep as she sent RDU an email. When I went to return my car the amount was over $100 more than it should have been. Eventually they corrected it but again this delayed me. Overall not a good experience with Enterprise at RDU.

It was the fastest check out for a rental car that I have ever been through. The bus drivers are super friendly and extremely informative about the ongoings and closings of the other rental car companies. Again I have to say the experience I've had today was truly awesome. And I came to drop off a car with not very high expectations. Not that I've had bad experiences but, I didn't think it would be the best experience in the world. And I must say., That I literally went in dropped the car off and I was done. Happy Days.

We landed in RDU and headed to bus pickup to get the car. Luckily I spoke to the National driver who explained to me that Enterprise was now set up with National and Alamo all in the same spot.
Once there we had to stand in a line to get the car, which was fine.
The car we received was not clean. The interior had some sort of beverage stain dried on the doors, dash and counsel and the trunk was stained with what looked like chocolate (I hope).
It does not seem that any extra cleaning precautions were taken to reduce the possible spread of Covid-19.
