The Stelvio is a magical place that enters and stays in your heart ... You can ski, walk and cycle in the warmer seasons ... the 3 roads that reach the pass from Bormio, Prato and S. Maria (Switzerland ) are beautiful to travel with cars, bikes and motorcycles ... One of my favorite places.

The walk that you can take towards Val federia starts from the end of the town of Livigno to arrive with a gentle slope up to the Federia refuge. The valley also crosses a stretch of the Stelvio National Park we saw the marmots and a spectacular flight of an eagle. At the refuge you can eat typical dishes cooked at the moment very good and at an honest price. The walk really deserves a bit of effort.
A bit of a tourist trap at the summit, but that won't detract from sheer joy of getting there (by bike). Stunning views.
Just past Trafoi there is a beautiful place called the three fountains, you can do a ring ride lasting about an hour where the trail passes under a waterfall and you get very little wet, also the landscape is beautiful

Heaven . A dream ride in June. The whole climb has been sunny and up we have seen high snow. Perfect. The road was always very accessible. It was also very quiet. We are sorry that the North Side was closed. We will definitely come back for it.
