Located, with its 130,700 hectares, in the heart of the Central Alps, the Stelvio is a typical high altitude mountain park: about three quarters of its territory is above 2000 meters and reaches a maximum of 3,905 m on the top of the 'Ortles.
Thanks to its high average altitudes it is characterized by a succession of impervious peaks and vast glacial surfaces. The Ortles-Cevedale group, on the border between Lombardy and Trentino-Alto Adige, constitutes its geographical heart.

The Stelvio is a magical place that enters and stays in your heart ... You can ski, walk and cycle in the warmer seasons ... the 3 roads that reach the pass from Bormio, Prato and S. Maria (Switzerland ) are beautiful to travel with cars, bikes and motorcycles ... One of my favorite places.

Park full of paths suitable for everyone, with torrents and lots of water! Many places of the great war!

The walk that you can take towards Val federia starts from the end of the town of Livigno to arrive with a gentle slope up to the Federia refuge. The valley also crosses a stretch of the Stelvio National Park we saw the marmots and a spectacular flight of an eagle. At the refuge you can eat typical dishes cooked at the moment very good and at an honest price. The walk really deserves a bit of effort.

A bit of a tourist trap at the summit, but that won't detract from sheer joy of getting there (by bike). Stunning views.

Just past Trafoi there is a beautiful place called the three fountains, you can do a ring ride lasting about an hour where the trail passes under a waterfall and you get very little wet, also the landscape is beautiful

The Stelvio National park is a marvel. It is one of the few in Italy that allows you to see many snowy peaks. Rich in water and unique landscapes.

In the park, visited by me in summer, there are many spaces and activities for young and old. In general very well maintained.

The Val di Sole with its villages and parsini offers different but all beautiful panoramas. Cogolo offers many services, from cross-country skiing to skating to snowshoes. Residence Alice I recommend them to anyone who wants to spend a holiday in peace and comfort.

For me one of the most beautiful parks. The whole of Italy is beautiful and full of beautiful places but for me the Stelvio is the best.

Heaven . A dream ride in June. The whole climb has been sunny and up we have seen high snow. Perfect. The road was always very accessible. It was also very quiet. We are sorry that the North Side was closed. We will definitely come back for it.
