One of the most fantastic places ive been in my life, love the view and the roads
Although we lived in the National Park area and drove along the Stelvio-Joch road, but I can not say much about the national park. It is a nice area with many hiking possibilities.
My opinion is mainly about the possibility of overcoming it in all possible directions, with a huge number of stops to take pictures, admire the views and I enjoy them every next turn like a child. A drawback is the huge traffic on it, be it car, motorcycle or bicycle. You should be careful and always have your eyes around your head at all times. The views, however, will pay us back for devoted attention and we will not make problems for ourselves. Although I know a few more crazy routes, I consider this route to be a must on mountain routes in my repertoire.
A place for schist that do not look for difficult things.
Tracks well maintained
The area visited is the one above the village of Can during the deer breeding season, going up there are the remains of the trenches of the first great war, it is very easy to come across high-altitude animals such as deer, roe deer etc.
Although Italy was suffocated by the heat there the sky was clear and the air was sparkling
A beautiful park for those who love hiking, immersed in the woods you can walk on wide paths also suitable for those who do not want to trek spinto.Per those who love the photos an excellent opportunity to snap, especially in particularly clear days.
A beautiful place for a walk outside the city. A super clean lake with a lot of trout that can be seen hunting for flies. You can easily make a barbecue. A restaurant is open during the season. A place worth recommending. :)
Park with spectacular landscapes and environments. Suitable for walks, bike or any other mountain sports
Nice but Bormio 2j000 towards santa.caterina no refreshment points are encountered.
The places and the panoramas that can be admired from the Stelvio National Park are, in my opinion, the most beautiful mountain panoramas in Italy as they are of extremely varied typologies for example there are Himalayan glaciers (in fact inside the National Park there is the largest glacier of the above type in Europe) and quiet grassy plateaus, a paradise.
We left the wk at the end of August to discover the confinal tour located in the Stelvio National Park. The journey in stages between the various shelters present, wonderful alpine landscapes of glaciers, valleys and woods. The Stelvio park is also rich in history, roads, military mule tracks, trenches and military villages.
Landscapes, fauna, flora and history ... priceless !!
Heaven! The only thing missing is a Bruckner symphony, but that is playing in my head.
Pure nature .... walking along the paths you have time to free your mind and enjoy what you see.
It is a beautiful park among glaciers and wonderful woods a unique experience
If you have the time and you like the mountain it is the right place
We had an epic bike ride up and over stelvio pass. The pass is very busy with a lot of tourists and small shops, it was a great experience. We were very happy we were on bicycles though since traffic was moving very slowly and there seems to be a constant shortage. Lots of places to eat and purchase souvenirs.
Beautiful places and kept very well. Although my visit was in the week of August, I did not find the large crowd
The highest paved mountain pass in Europe. The roads are breathtaking. I was here in the Passo della Stelvio in 2017 to cover the Giro d Italia. The snow was still 3m deep. The crowds were amazing. And the stage was amazing. Definitely will come back to cycle on these roads sometime in the future.
P.S. the pictures are from my coverage of that day s stage.
Beautiful place. Funny tracks and nice people. Then what to say about eating, fantastic
Yes it is the Trentino side of the Park, Val di Rabbi. Place with attractive nudist excellence as example the waterfall of Saent. In winter, you go with snowshoes or cross-country skis for kilometers. 60 around the slopes.
A passage on the Stelvio pass is a must. There are no other words to add
Val di Rezzalo presents priceless landscapes. A simple walk leads up to the church of s. Bernardo and the small town with the only farm house in the valley. Wanting the path leads with a few more hours to Gavia
I think there is not much to say ... The road to get through passes in the midst of wonderful valleys, and when it comes to the road that climbs up the final ridge, it is an indescribable sight, whether to do it (maybe on a motorcycle, but beware) !), But also in the car, because every curve gives fantastic panoramas from every angle. Impossible not to go there at least once! On top then, in addition to being various hotels and restaurants, there are hotdogs that speak for themselves;)
One of the most beautiful parks I've ever seen ... pristine nature and very beautiful excursions. The park is very large and you can visit from many points ... the Trafoi area is recommended. We have been on the Stelvio only for a small excursion ... we will definitely return to undertake one of the many challenging routes.
What to add over? The nature is magnificent, the landscapes are beautiful, the climate is ideal.
You get to step loon July 10 and find ancora2 mtv snow, streams of clear water and very cold 15 degrees is dream
Fantastic is an understatement. It's always a thrill to go back there!
For what I've seen, the marked and controlled routes are very well maintained.
Untouched nature
Right degree of difficulty.
The only demerit is the distances not always marked, fundamental if more paths cross.
Composto da posti meravigliosi. Ricchi di flora e fauna. Numerosi torrenti e fiumi e passeggiate gradevoli.
South Tyrolean culture and tradition of excellence without. And absolute tranquility
Too much traffic, too many people, gives quieter places
Really impressive. Very beautiful many hairpin bends or unclear. But I did not want to miss it.
Excellent but above all availability and friendliness from all the staff. I also enjoyed this holiday for the beautiful area.
Amazing area for hiking in the Atlantic Alps. warmly recommended
Excellent shuttle service that still penalizes the hamlet of Piazzola di rabbi
What the hell should I write about the Stelvio National Park? Since I have to surpass the 200 characters to reach the goal I will send you to fanc ... joke! The park is beautiful but the inhabitants less. There are many pine and fir trees. Everyone is unpleasant, especially the pines. I broke a life instead of reading here and as Bart says: take the sock!
One of the most beautiful places in the world, between Alto Adige, Lombardy, Tyrol and Switzerland Romancia.
Fantastic, home of summer skiing and the view is breathtaking
Spectacular position 360 degrees .... Uncontaminated nature ... Gibetti, marmots, deer, free to admire it. Beautiful snow .... walks snacks and excellent CLEAN air
Beautiful place surrounded by nature with all the mountain flora and fauna, there are some views and views that will leave you breathless.
Very quiet beautiful area. You can walk there and you become calm yourself.
An oasis of peace if you are not really on the Stelvio Pass. The Martelltal is off the Marteller hut really highly recommended.
There is little to say. Beautiful place, cared for and even simple walks suitable for children.
Fantastic mountain group with a large glacier in the middle and many valleys and mountain peaks around. A super place to draw between the reef.
We drove the pass north from Bormio very early. A stunner with the roadster in brilliant weather.
A fantastic place we stopped at the Dorigoni Refuge
The impressive views, but the buildings could be more careful
Beautiful area. Frenzied rock formations that you can view from close to the top.
