Being a glacier there are many streams thus several waterfalls

A place like this if there were not, we would have to invent it ... the mountain in its maximum expression ... fantastic place.

Paradise for hikers. Beautiful park, lots of wild-life, amazing hikes, a lot of WW1 history to be explored, glaciers galore, great mountain refuges. I visited Stelvio park many times and will hike there again and again.

Mandatory destination for bikers. When you get to the top you feel on the roof of the world !!! Pure show.

I visited both the South Tyrolean side, going up from Merano to the Val d'Ultimo, and the Lombard side, going up from Bormio. Wonderful woods, clean streams, the ideal place to spend the summer without dying from the heat, walking or even swimming in the lakes where the water, freezing, wakes you up immediately

Super mooi om naartoe te rijden. Met 48 bochten, op een weg die bijna alleen maar omhoog gaat. Prachtig als je boven bent. Waar het meestal een groot feest is, omdat het een heel geliefde klim is bij fietsers en motorrijders.

Truly a wonderful place with an almost lunar appearance. Difficult to reach, especially climbing from Ponte di Legno, requires a certain skill in driving. Possibility to have lunch in the shelter there

It was wonderful but unfortunately cold and still snow even the lumberjacks still hard at work, even in the reservoir almost no water
