This is a wonderful place to spend the day. My wife and I had a baby sitter for our kids and we did this park just the two of us. We had a blast! The staff was friendly. Prices were reasonable. We bought individual ride tickets and were told that they buy back any unused tickets. We acted like kids on the fantasy trail, crawling through tunnels and going through mazes. We rode the rides and they were fun. But the park itself is the real attraction. I would recommend this place to kids and adults.

Enchanted forest was a super fun "Storybook Village" type of amusement park. And their Ice Mountain Bobsled roller coaster is not to be missed! Although I would consider the parks be on the pricier end of the spectrum. Once you pay for admission into the park you then still have to pay more for each ride after....and things can add up quickly.

I am a former employee, I grew up going to this theme park believing it was a place of wonder and happiness. But after moving on and getting a different job, I realized just how horrible they treated their staff and how bad their business practices are.
I worked there from the age of 16-17, along with most of their other employees that I believe were taken advantage of due to their little to no work history. The HR is ran by Mary Tofte and Sue Vaslev, and lots of college kids that are more cliquey and I would say bullying rather than helpful. The waiter-styled dress code is very strict and not practical for cold weather nor summer weather, and when the HR team would make their rounds to check uniforms they would frequently refer it to fun shunning .
I remember while I worked there during a particularly hot summer it was a rule that employees could not remove their vests unless the weather was over 100 degrees, and even then you must be given permission.
Another instance was that FIVE employees were all fired within one day, the way they punish you is through something called point system where they tack on points and once you get to 7 you are on probation. They will give you points for nearly everything, your uniform, glittery fingernail polish, saying unprofessional phrases like okeedokee or even watching Sue s 7 year old grand daughter when no one else is. Such as Sue herself.
They fired my friend on the second to last day of the season, on the last hour of her shift, because she would walk around the park on her breaks. They had known nearly a week and a half in advance they were going to fire her yet they worked her as long as they could get their use out of her. There are more instances I could list but this review is already lengthy enough.
I still believe this place is excellent if you are a guest, but I highly do NOT recommend working here. And I would be very interested in what an official Human Resources worker would say if they were to see what it is like to be employed here..

I took my son here with my family when visiting from Nebraska. He had a lot of fun, but some of the storybook exhibits had animatronics that scared him. There are only a few rides where you use tickets, so unless you plan on riding them more than once, it might not be worth the bracelet. We got my son a bracelet so he could ride everything for free, then bought 10 tickets for us when we had to ride with him like on the log ride.

Really?!!! With all the great reviews you think this place would of been great, we were not impressed. Quite expensive for what it's worth. It smelt like onions and Body Oder in many of the areas like walking through the castle for instance, gross! The kids really didn't enjoy it much the only attraction that was fun was the log and bobsled rides. Everything else was a joke. As for food we didn't even want to attempt it. All in all we stayed there for maybe an hour tops. All for a whopping cost of $75.00!!! Worth going to , umm NO!!!!!

This is such an amazing experience, for the fact that it was one local man s dreams, and imagination to build, on the side, while raising a family and working. I grew up going here, and now take me daughter here to enjoy its special magic. We also have visited with the Girl Scouts as a troop with our raised cookie money, and was SO AWESOME. Thanks bringing so much MAGIC to the Willamette Valley. We love you so.

Absolutely a wonderful place for families. Super clean grounds, friendly staff. Decent food. A hotdog costs $2.50 and a personal pizza: $6 which is better than the Oregon State fair or a Portland riverside event. We arrived at 10:15 on Sunday July 4th weekend and had no trouble parking. The park was busy but not crazy crowded. It is located on the side of a hill in a dense forest with paved pathways and lots of fairy tale themed places for youngsters to explore. Children 2-12 will have a grand time unless they are the type that prefer video games and sophisticated Disneyland like rides. We took our 6 & 8 yr olds and it was non stop smiles until they pooped out at 4pm. Was a quiet ride home....! Oh, also met Mr Toft who started this in the 70's. Great guy and still working there.

Great for families with smaller children, but the cost for a full ticket day, is expensive; 4 adult tickets just shy of $200. Beautiful grounds, park like features. We satisfied our adult curiosity within 1 1/2 hours, and left. The owner-creator rides around the park on a scooter, so you may catch a look at him. It is a very cool park, I wish I had known about it when my grandkids were small.

This place is a must! Perfect for the 3-8 year-olds out there. Plenty to do for the whole day. Fun food. Rides are great. The one thing that I warn you is that the mountain roller coaster doesn't have seat belts in the pods! Us and our kids were bouncing around in those! Scary but exciting. Go check it out!

We are from Arizona and loved the Enchanted Forest. The weather was great, the park is cute, and even though a lot was closed down my 19, 16, and 13 year old children had fun. We did the icy mountain ride together, and finished the park in 1.5 hours.

Family friendly, clean and enjoyable stop on the way by. Best for younger kids (under 12). Would love to see hand dryers instead of paper towels and a little more interactive things in the haunted house .

Indian cave maze is awesome! Live Irish music is very refreshing, need more live input like this to help add soul to everyone s heart!

I didn't know what to expect, I hadn't been back to this part since I was six years old. I was pleasantly surprised to find I really enjoyed my visit as an adult. It does help to have a child along, for vicarious enjoyment of some of the younger skewing attractions.

It was clean, well maintained, and overflowing with creativity. Some of the exhibits could use with a little updating, but then they may lose some of the charm of the era it was built in.

Loved coming here as a child and now I get to bring my children here too. Enchanted Forest always felt like a place that was built because someone wanted to entertain children not just to make money.

So much fun here! The whole family had a great time exploring and riding the rides. We enjoyed the attractions and entertainment. The whole experience was just a little bit magical. Kids and adults alike had fun. In all honesty bringing a child does make it even more fun. Food was good, price was decent, parking was easy.

Waitress handled our large group with humor and flexibility. (Though it was still slower than I thought it should have been.) I had the Viking burger with fries and side salad - a ridiculous amount of meat, everything was at least "pretty good".

Enchanted Forest is a yearly family tradition! It combines beautiful theming with miles of hand-painfed art. It's like walking through the most amazing art installation you've ever seen. The rides are great fun, especially Challenge of Mondor. It's all a bit of a hike but absolutely worth it. Make sure you see one of their hilariously silly plays too! The new barbecue restaurant offers shockingly huge sandwiches for the price.

Really fun for the kids...a bit lacking in safety...and a bit on the expensive side..it would be nice if the entrance fee was somehow included with the ride fee..but still worth it to see my daughter's have so much fun

A fun place to spend a day with your children or even yourself if you're a kid at heart. It doesn't have the big thrill rides of much larger parks but that is part of the charm. The entrance price is a little steep but discounts can usually be found with an online search. Even without a discount, it is worth the price because them memories you make will be priceless.

If I had to rate my favorite theme parks, the list would go as follows: Disneyland, then Enchanted Forest. Both are extremely immersive and are just plain fun. Enchanted Forest, while definitely showing it's age, is well-maintaned and all rides are in good condition. I could give a long description, but I will make a list:
Bobsleds: Not for the faint of heart, but not reaching high speeds. The car will jostle you around, but there are many turns and drops. Recommended.
Log Ride: Not for the faint of heart. Similar to Splash Mountain at Disneyland, but not as extreme. You will get wet, but you'll dry quickly. Highly recommend!!
Challenge of Mondor: For the faint of heart. Similar to Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters at Disneyland. Point a gun at lights and score points. Fun!

Enjoy your experience!
