The Home Place Restaurant Review

Such a shame. I used to really enjoy this establishment. Sadly the anemic pizza I got when I opened the box today resembled dominoes on a bad day. Down hill at best. Hope things turn around.

They screw up in drive through alot.to many kids and not enough supervision

Pizza crust is awesome. Grilled chicken is seasoned to perfection and made with real chicken breast.

Customer service was lacking. Maybe because it was really busy. One order was wrong item & informed servers & was provided. Hot turkey & mashed potatoes & gravy was very salty and turkey tatsted a bit weird. Ordered bacon with a meal & not given. Asked for plain toast & still had butter on it. No check in to see if we needed anything.

I've been going to this restaurant for as long as I can remember. Love the taco salad. and the sandwiches, burgers...everything pretty much.

Good food, place has lots to offer with traditional family restaurant, pizza & lounge.

Service was fast and friendly. The hot chocolate was amazing. My friends and I were all impressed and happy with our breakfasts. The pancakes are huge!

Guest service has always been good but it has gotten even better. Great diverse menu options.

Good food, good prices. There is one server there however that we hope we don't get every time we go. An older female who has a horrible attitude.

The food is good, prices are decent, not many options for Vegetarians or Vegans but obviously you cant cater to everyone, that being said its a good family restuarant.

Perfect ALL AMERICAN home-style food. Everything is good, and there is something for everyone. A perfect slice of Americana!

If you enjoy the buffet all-you-can-eat thing this place is ok.

Ok breakfast. Food was fine and price was good. Nothing out of the ordinary. Appears to be a popular spot for locals.

Bar doesn't open till 2 or 3 pm! You guys crazy? Besides all that the cowboy with jalapenos on the side is my favorite. 3 stars for not opening ur bar ealier

I love this place! The pizza is the best in the valley. And WAAY more affordable. For the price we get 2 pizzas in stayton we can get 4, and drinks, and wings at Home place. And it tastes better! Plus, all the people working there are super kind.

The food was great but the service was horrible. The staff seemed like we were just a problem, not a paying customer.

A good spot for a variety of great eats.
I highly recommend the cheese and bacon French fries...
I never feal as relaxed here. Maybe need friends with me..

Shockingly good. Best pizza around. Hubby and I went for a drive. We thought, hum pizza sounds good. Boy were we in for a treat. Great crust, great toppings and excellent experience. Easy order, got our special request perfect, it was on time and the take out window was easy peasy. We will go back.

The pizza wasn t very flavorful. The wings had a good flavor but were very soft. The drink order was incorrect.

Great home town restaurant and hands down the best pizza in town.

Food s OK, hash browns are not flavorful they taste steamed. Server was sick and coughing all over and sniffling but apparently the management feels this is acceptable for a food server to be sick with snot dripping and phlegm spewing evertime she coughed.

This is a restaurant that we frequently go. It is clean with a friendly wait staff. The food is well prepared and cooked to order. I am a fussy person about what I eat due to diet restrictions and they never have a problem with my special requests.

This place really should be reviewed 3 separate ways as the dining, pizza joint and bar are in different areas of the restaurant. My review will be on the pizza itself and the dining area.

Pizza: First, this is the only late evening pizza place, that I know of, in Silverton. The other take and bake places close at 8 weekdays. Second, the pizza is about the same price as the others. And lastly it IS good pizza. Thin and crunchy crust. They dont skimp on toppings. Its friggin great.

Dining area: I go here all the time, mostly with my mother. Shari's type menu. Good simple food. The fireplace and design make it cozy. I have never received sub-par food as other reviewers described. It's not the best food ive ever tasted nor should it be. It is delicious, the service is just fine and the prices are fair.

Silverton is a small town. And The HomePlace is a small town restaurant. You'll get good food with a cozy feel when you come here. Me likey.

Good food good prices good staff. The good old fashioned Ma and PAW operation.

Fair prices, good food, friendly staff. They care about the customer and it shows. Laid back atmosphere and full bar upstairs. Great pizza.

The prices are great here. Individual pizza's size were adequate and a good taste. We got 2 individual pizzas, an order of onion rings and 2 drinks for about $23. The appetizers are reasonably priced around 6-7 dollars, not 10+ like the touristy places.

Theres 2 dining areas. A normal side and a pizza side. The pizza side has less staff as it's set up like a pizzeria. Would definitely come back.

This place was family friendly and delicious. They have two levels to enjoy at the restaurant. The main floor which is primarily open family seating and and upstairs with a bar. We ordered two giant size pizzas for 6 adults and two kids. Plenty of food and some leftovers. They also have a full menu in addition to the pizza. They have a small arcade of about 7 games that range from children to adult. Big Buck Hunter was there. They had one random digital slot machine there as well. The pizza was great and the price seemed more then fair. I will definitely eat there again.

Great pizza! Serves great breakfast lunch and dinner! Two areas one for noiser with kids arcade games the other quiet with relaxed dining

I have been in there 3 times for hamburgers and not once was I disappointed! The service was excellent ad well and their prices were great! They also have a pizza area. I look forward to trying one next time!

Visiting from out of state and wanted a family friendly place with good food. Was hopeful with their good rating, but we were quite disappointed. The waitress was very nice and prompt, but we paid over $9 for a mediocre chicken cesar salad (served on a warm plate) and the fruit that came with my son's kid's meal seemed like it was from a can. I can't say that we'd go back or refer others.

Good food, good service, pizza is the best in town. Portions not fanboy size but good cooks. Always busy.

Our server Stephen [with a PH!] was absolutely amazing! He was personable and friendly and extremely efficient. Food was hands-down awesome [we really liked the jo-jos]. Thanks to some great food and fantastic service we had a really great time and will be back!

Wait staff was friendly. Food was okay. Presentation was out dated garnishment on every plate was a sad dry orange slices and a small piece of green kale...all of which ended up in the trash with our group.

Loved the pizza, beer was ice cold. Friendly staff, wait was about 15 minutes. Nice easy location.

We absolutely LOVE this place! We discovered it over the summer and haven't been disappointed. They have awesome food, GREAT PRICES, and wonderful staff. Their pizza is equally amazing and it's often hard to choose between pizza or their regular menu. Give them a try. You won't be disappointed!

Really good pizza. But if you're going to eat in the restaurant, be prepared to wait. Food is okay--too much and not great. Don't get why service has to be so lackadaisical...but it is. It's hard to find anything superlative. Fabulous fireplace! Prices are a bit on the high side ($$$) for basic, unimaginative dining.
Take out Pizza excellent.

Love this place great food and service and great for meetings or just hanging out with family and friends.
