Having dealt with many media and internet companies over the past 12 years, I am totally disgusted by this company.

Terms and Conditions are not made clear to the customer, a copy of the contract is not sent to the company either via email or paper format. The cancellation period is ridiculously short in comparison to other major players in the UK.

Staff don't communicate with the customer when a simple question is asked.

DON'T BOTHER WITH THIS COMPANY AT ALL. THEY JUST WANT TO FLEECE YOU AND ABUSE YOUR CHARGE CARD !

My website was originally put together by EMS Internet but had become very dated so I was contacted by a Craig who suggested that I upgraded to a much more user friendly website and could be seen on the computer and on a mobile. We discussed what I would like to see featured and the areas I wanted to cover and the finished result is very impressive. I have received a lot of calls through the website and am delighted with the outcome. Whenever I call Craig he calls me back within 24 hours and actions all the points that I request straight away. A very good service.

AWFUL COMPANY! Stay away at all costs!!!! They will rip you off, take money without telling you. They are very good at trying to convince you that you need something when you don't need it at all!!! It made me ill with the stress of them! And when you try and get out they make it very difficult

Well another company that calls your business. This time I decided to listen. So basically I was sold a domain name: "eaglesguesthouse.mobi" to appear on mobile phone advertising. I had to pay upfront for the domain name and be called within 3 working days to give data, prices, pictures ect once the CC details given the terms and conditions were send to me by mail. And they were NOT corresponding at ALL to what was sold over the phone! (Extra costs, renewals...) I send an e-mail back on the day asking for a refund and a cancellation, followed by a registered letter. Since then, from EMS internet, a month of disregards, scorn, insulting silence to my entire attempt to be refund.
The personnel on duty were using the full range of "ready to use and polite sentences" that means "I don't care" and I decided to bring them to court, and started a legal procedure and finally after a month I received an e- mail saying you are going to be refund......in 5 or 6 working days.
Avoid them in the first place; lies are a common currency in 1410 Centre Park Square, Warrington.
they are closed now.... they might appear somewhere else.

I have used EMS for about 4 years. The team there have always been courteous and Danny Clarke,
my client manager very helpful and patient. He has worked very hard on my behalf.The new website
is excellent which I hope will bring many new visitors. I was recently approached by Studio Lambert
regarding a new series of the Channel 4 programme "Four in a bed". I was pleased to be considered
but I felt I had to decline the opportunity
My main concern however, has been the high advertising costs as I am only a small business...

I've got 2 websites with EMS Internet and I have been happy with the quality and design on both of them. I gave them my requirements and they met my expectations on both projects. Nothing is ever too much.

Both my accounts are looked after by my account manager Dave. He has been a great help from start to finish and has been in constant contact to make sure we're happy and we've got all the necessary things we need. As well as Dave I have a customer support girl called Katie who is always on hand to help and nothing is ever too much. EMS helped me right from the initial point of sale through every step of the way and I am confident I am in the right hands.

I would certainly be happy to recommend anybody to EMS and if I need any more websites I will be coming to EMS for them.

one of them will call you offering a fantastic deal thats to good to be true and you will fall for it and then another dick will call you telling you you have to pay a fortune to get your website noticed, something that the first dick that called said was included in the price pleaee stay away from these they are profession con artists and dont do nothing to get your website noticed.

By far the worst company I have had work on my website, very unclear in exactly what they are going to do, rarely receive a response to emails, can never speak with the same person on the phone, forever trying to upsell more products. Impossible to close my account as constantly ignored after numerous requests and are still taking my money for hosting although always agreed I would host myself. Very poor service

Really am shocked about how little attention to detail is put into the website design. We paid for the design of the website over 6 months ago and they still haven't produced something professional. Definitely wouldn't recommend this company. They give false promises in terms of SEO. Also pester you with sales calls at least every week to try and get more money out of you.

Very bad company to work with, Customer service a joke, and do not tell you terms and conditions, like the fact you can not get a refund if you are not happy, you have 72 hours to write a complaint request a refund post the letter by recorded post, and wait for the next hoop to jump through, full of promises they can not keep, are rude and full of lies. They took 720.00 off me asked me to fill in there forms which when you save it doesnt save, so you need to do the whole thing again, promise to help with this but dont get a phone call. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE !

I have always found EMS very reliable with excellent service provided by my account managers, they always have the answers to my questions and their knowledge is second to none, I have recently updated my account for the Google search link and am looking forward to receiving the forthcoming results. EMS provide a first class service at all times!

My old web site looked exactly how I wanted it to so, with a little guidance, Jessica and Aidan have successfully copied it onto a new site for me.
Although a little more expensive than first expected, by being careful not to take more of the upgrades than I needed at present, we have a more modern site which still reflects my company image.
I hope to work with them over the next few months to keep the new site up to date and hopefully bringing me additional Garden Design business from the Devon area.

Can't recommend EMS enough. David Yii is my account manager and always goes out of his way to provide a top class seamless service. Always on hand to help with any issues that I have. The customer care is spot on. You really do get one to one support from all the team. I do, and have recommended EMS to other businesses. I have two websites with EMS and will definitely be having a third in the future.

I am writing to complain about the conduct of EMS, I had spoke to David Walsh about using your services at the time of the call he asked me to verbally agree to your terms, to which I replied I would not be happy to do so until I have read them but I understood he wanted to take payment on the Friday as he a secured a discounted rate that might otherwise not stand, so on the understanding there was a cool off period and I was not agreeing to terms until he had sent them over I handed over the company card details, the card got declined. I spoke to Josh and said I would speak with him Monday and might pay on my personal card. I did not receive any further acknowledgment that work has been undertaken or an account opened. I DID NOT GIVE EMS AUTORISATION TO STORE MY CARD DETAILS OR TO RETRY THE CARD OR TO COMMENCE ANY WORKS!!
On Monday morning I emailed to say I would not be taking EMS up on their offer only to discover shortly after sending this you debited the card and opened up an account.

After several calls to your offices on Monday they confirmed that there is a 72 hour cooling off period, as the account was opened today I am well within this period.

I have spoken with Trading Standards over this truly appalling business practice they will be getting in contact soon and I would appreciate a written reply to provide to them.

A complete waste of time & money. They are out for every penny they can grab by adding on items once you have a site with them, then justify their abysmal performance on the fact that you didn't allow them to fleece you some more. Took them a year to get the website online and charged throughout this whole period. Would have been 1 star but in fairness the people are polite and courteous. If they were half as good as they think they are they would come up in Google when you type in web site development companies UK .

I have been with EMS for a little over 18 months - I was cold called at a time when I was setting up my business. It came at the right time and I accepted their offer, a 10 page dual package, as I needed a better website than what I had with one of the 'do it yourself' sites.
I can only describe my first four months as very anxious and I worried that I was being scammed. I was bombarded with calls from the sales team, some very aggresive and one chap even shouted at me because I refused an offer. I wrote numerous letters by post and e mail to express my dissatisfation & concern as I had handed over a lot of money and I was getting nothing from them.
Finally my site was ready & went live after four months - I got what I wanted, happy with the look and how I was able to edit and add photos and text myself.I had a few technical questions along the way that were answered helpfully.
I did not hear from EMS until a year later when a member of the sales staff wanted more money for a product I did not need - he told me that my business would fail without it !
But it didn't - and I have been on page one of google for a long time now.
My site is working well for me, I am happy to pay the monthly fee & happy that there is someone at the end of the phone to give some technical assistance when required.
What makes me even more happier is that there are no more cold callers from EMS as they have changed their business methods for the better - I have been visited by a Client Manager and actually seen a face from EMS & not just a voice on the phone.I had my social media information updated with no further cost to me for which I was very pleased as it gave me more presence on the net.
I am not a demanding person and my website needs are simple and have been met by EMS.

Whilst they are polite and ensure good customer care, it is always to do with money and each time I end up earning some they call me and take more of me and we just haven't been getting anywhere I am considering cancelling my contract, especially from reading the reviews on here from other people who have had similar experiences.

I am constantly having to worry about money with them, they didn't tell me how much it would all cost, when I first signed the contract a year ago. I recommend using Facebook to promote your business as it is a much cheaper and quicker way of ensuring results are met.

My experience with EMS overall was not good. I gave them my business for a number of years and they regularly gave me the 'hard sell' tactic to capture further up selling. That I could handle. The final straw came when they lied to me to get me to make a large order that they said would be a 'one off' design fee. Within 3 days they called me again to say that I needed to pay a further 300.00 pound. As the order had already started I had no choice to pay this extra fee else loose the money I had already paid. As for it being a 'one off' design fee was a big fat massive lie!! Almost a year to the date of the initial order they send me the request for renewal fees of this order which was suppose to be the so called 'one off' design fee. When I requested to listen to the tape recording of the sale taking place to prove that I wasn't mistaken with what had been agreed to, you can guess, they couldn't find it!!!! My advice is to avoid this company at all costs and for those that are already with EMS, make sure you get everything that you have agreed to on the phone, confirmed in writing. You will be glad that you did!

In response to your reply. No that is not true, the renewal was not for the 'renewal of domain name' I expected to and did pay for the renewal of that. The renewal was for 594.00 pound plus VAT for the 'Renewal of Gold Package Website Period 2105-2016. I have the letter of renewal notification in front of me now, shall I post it to you?

Words barely do justice to the quality of the UI / UX / design team at EMS - from planning to implementation, creativity and professionalism (ownership, proactivity, consistency of delivery) of the highest order underpin everything they do, you need to see their output to fully appreciate its calibre. The only regret I have from our experience with them is we had not made the connection in time for previous projects. Whether you need a new brand constructing with as much care and passion as if it were their own, or to breathe new life into an existing one, Jonny Kimber's team are your people.

We've been with ems for 5 years now, wasn't sure about " a new responsive website " my old one was fine.... but decided to do it anyway, old one was a bit tired & outdated... so glad that we did though, its great, much better, & so easy to edit and add photos to my gallery.

In fact they even charge you if you want to hear the phone calls proof of when they have lied to you.

All they continually do is phone you and ask for money.

They tell so many lies just to keep getting money from you.

When you have problems with your website they do not fix it and if you can them to do something then they want more money.

I have been dealing with Daniel Clark & Craig who tell you lies all the time just to try and get more money from you.

I would not recommend anyone to use this company.

I am now going to cancel my contract with them as I just can't deal with this any more and more to the more I will end up bankrupt!

Stay well away from this company. All they do it want your money. Once they have it, everything goes out the window; your cares, concerns, ambitions, customer service. Clearly explained to the sales team what I wanted my new site to be like. Even showed them what my existing site was like and then they came back to me with a joke of a quote. Decided to just cut all ties and take the hit, rather than give a penny more to this lousy excuse of a company.

I have been with EMS for at least 3 years now. they have really upped their game regarding customer service and my two websites have always performed well.
In the past ( a year+ ago) I was sometimes bamboozled by what felt like over zealous marketing but I am now very comfortable with the entire package and the service I receive. I am a small business but am kept in touch by my "account manager" David. He has given me every confidence that they (EMS) know what I require and where my money should be spent. I also, after much effort on Davids part have a little bit more understanding of how my top rankings are achieved. I have read through some of the other ratings and am really surprised. At the start I may well have agreed with some of the comments but I now have every confidence in EMS to keep me in full view of my targeted area. Very happy!
