I have had it with this company and specificallythe Westwood KS location. They literally never...I MEAN NEVER pick up the phone. Email response takes at least 2 days. The phone message always says they are busy. I have literally never seen anyone on the phone there and there is always someone at the desk. When you are in the actual facility the main response is they can't do that and to call. Twice my daughters classes have been canceled (which I totally understand). The problem is their are no make up classes except the end of the season. When they do allow a make up class bc they needed to cancel they just assign you one with no concern that we have schedules and lives. Then as I stated above it takes all week to finally reschedule..if that is even possible. While I like the general set up of the classes and think my daughter has learned some life saving techniques I am not sure the money I am wasting is worth it anymore. The Covid guidelines are not being followed day to day. Masks are off, more then one adult family is often in there. Chairs are far closer then 6 ft.

Like the others, I would give this business 0 stars if I could. Not only are they refusing refunds for a time when the state and their business was closed (to include furloughed staff), they don't care if your child has a compromised immune system and CAN'T come in for their make up sessions. They charged an automatic payment when their business was closed. They are literally stealing from parents who can't or choose not to come back for sessions. Neither should be penalized and refused their money. If parents choose to take them up on their credits, so be it. I'm not one of those parents, and I work HARD for my money for anyone, especially a business to steal from me.

No refunds for us either! We also moved out of state during Corona and there is no Emler around and the new summer session is useless for us. I have also been passed around, and ignored for months. Very disappointed in the way this company is managed. We ve been going there since my child was 2 months old and we could have gone somewhere else. Not the only toddler swim school in the area.
Each time I heard a possibility of relocation, I asked if we can get a refund if I sign up for the next session and was told that refunds are issued. Now I m told that refunds are only issued for military relocation. I also think that the manager is just lying about checking into the refund process. My next stop is reporting them to the BBB.

I am with the other 1 star....I would give 0 if I could as well! I paid good hard money for swim lessons, lessons where cancelled and then moved to a further location. I am owed a refund since only my 2 sons only went to 1 class! The other 3/4 of the money needs to be refunded. You're telling me I have up to a YEAR to bring them back... Not going to happen! How I was rudely talked to by Roger. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone! Their young un-trained management team is.

If I could give zero stars I would. Emler is refusing to refund our prepaid semester even though their website states they will issue refunds. They have stolen money from us and have continued to keep it stating they have a no refund policy which is opposite of the information provided under their FAQ section on the site. I ve asked multiple times to be called so we can discuss the matter but I m only ever given the company line which leads to a call center to employees who can not do anything. Emails have proven to be ineffective as I m now being passed around to different site directors only to be told once again they will not refund the money we gave them in January! This theft will not be ignored. DON T DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. They haven t even given the donation money customers gave to their employees to help when they wouldn t pay them during the shutdown. If they refuse to refund families then they should have been able to pay their employees. I bet CEO Greg Laird still got paid though. Give me my money back!!

Terrible customer service at Elmer in Southlake. We have tried unsuccessfully to sign our toddler up for classes since he was 1.5 years old. He s now almost four. You cannot ever reach a live person in Southlake to speak to you and answer questions about class availability and sign ups.
You will be transferred to a call agent who seems to work at home. They will only offer you ONE class option and pretend there s no availability which I have trouble believing that after two years of trying and calling back and waiting, there s still only ONE 8am Saturday swim class available.(!?!) I have registered online countless times only to waste my time hoping new availability will open up and it never does. It has been such a waste of time dealing with this swim school.
