Emerald Beach Resort Review

Disappointed, no actual person to go too with problems. All done by phone.

This is an wonderful beachfront condo to stay in Panama City Beach. Our unit was great, featuring a kitchen with a full-sized refrigerator/freezer, a stovetop, and a microwave. There was also a private balcony for me and my husband. Cable TV and a DVD player was provided, and so was Internet access. Our room had a separate sitting area, as well as a phone with free local calls and voice mail.

We were please to find that Emerald Beach has a spa tub, a bar/lounge, and a poolside bar! Another nice thing was shopping on site. They also have free self parking.

Really quite nice. We recommend it to anyone travelling to PCB.

Coffee grounds in Coffee pot mold in shower had to take stairs because elevator was broke

Super clean, plenty to do in walking distance, love it!

Very big with plenty of beds right on the beach. Could easily give 5 stars but the room wasn't as clean as it should've been as well as the elevators here were horrible.

Best place to stay in Panama City Beach! All the amenities you could ask for including an onsite Starbucks!

Easy access to beach. Great condos. Had to wait for elevators quite a bit, but would expect that from a busy resort.

I've always loved staying at Emerald beach resort. Rooms are clean. Staff very nice. But unfortunately my stay this year was canceled due to COVID 19.

Emerald Beach is a great place to stay while in Panama City Beach. The location is spectacular and the service is top notch

Nothing fancy, but right on the beach and conveniently located on Front Beach Rd. Elevators are the slowest ever!

We'll check in was at 4:00 this Sunday afternoon looks like I will have to go find a hotel I booked my room two months ago I arrived paid the rest of money 1500.00 dollars it's 8:00 o'clock figure it out Tammy jeffreys says it's a desaster !

Horrible elevators. Over a hour wait time one morning we walked down 23 flights of stairs after waiting forever. Unit we stayed in was run down and nasty.

The location is close to Pier Park! It's part of the Wyndham but privately owned. The icecream shop has pizza and sandwiches and Starbucks can't be beat. On one of the loveliest parts of the beach with miniature golf, arcades, helicopter rides, and other major attractions within walking distance!

Room is ok.
Elevator is a nightmare, only half of them work. Beach is crowded.
Parking is across the road, that's another nightmare.
I would not recommend, nor will I come back.

Lots of pros and cons and it is hard to say which one outweighed the other.
Pros: GREAT location! Room was a good size! We stayed in 1127 which is a deluxe one bedroom. My husband and our 2 and 6 year old were more than comfortable. They slept on the bunk beds some nights and some nights they slept on the pull out couch. Very easy access to the beach. Kiddie pool area across the street was great! And having a Starbucks on the property was also great! Room was clean. Not exceptional but clean.
There is a also a sky bar and ice cream and pizza shop on the sky bridge as well. Cons: Biggest one is that water was cut off from about 2:30 in the afternoon until about 10:30 that night. Took multiple calls and attempts to get it cut back on. There is no staff on site at all which was a nightmare when trying to get the water back on. When someone finally arrived, he was very friendly. Access around the property is VERY inconvenient. Going from our unit to the car was a nightmare. Lots of up and down stairs and walking and forever waiting on elevators. Spent half of our vacation waiting on an elevator! The verdict is still out on if we will be back or not.

We ve stayed at Emerald Beach Resorts twice before this and it was always great until our 3rd visit. We stayed in room 2436 this time and the room was moldy, bathroom had mold on ceiling and in the shower, the couches were disgusting that felt sticky with a huge stain on the sofa sleeper. We were extremely disappointed and can t figure out why anyone would let a customer book a room that looked like that. We will definitely never book again much less be back to Panama City Beach.

So nice! We love our condo felt like home!Love the Beach Furniture in the condo! The Owners of our Condo was so nice to check and see if we had everything we needed.Great place to stay can't wait to come back! Our unit number was 1135#.

We paid $103 to bookit.com for one night. When we got there, they made us pay another $169 for our room or we were going to lose our $103 that we already paid. The rooms were dirty and they have a coffee maker, but no coffee. The pool and hot tub were small and the bed was old. It was like a very expensive Days inn. NEVER AGAIN !!

Everything about this place is awesome. I will continue to come as much as my vacation time will allow. Totally love this place.

Some of the most beautiful beaches in the country! It never gets old.

Great room 1130. It's kinda confusing with the property sit with a Wyndham hotel on one side and condos on the other. The elevator are fast with several servicing the property. There is a Skybar on the crossbridge a Starbucks. Great view of the beach. Pools as well.

We had a trip booked that has unfortunately fallen through due to the virus madness.... This hotel has been completely unreachable in regards to canceling the trip. Customer service is so bad its literally non-existing.

My family and I stay here every year like a peace of heaven I admit that I own a unit here that I rent out to guests, but for good reason. It always books and they are almost always impressed. Most of my guests give really good reviews, but even the ones that give the lower ones (I've never gotten lower than 3 stars) say it's a perfect location!

Friendly and helpful staff, very clean resort with lots of amenities. Only issue we had was the water shutoff one afternoon.

Takes forever to get on and off the elevators! Air in the room did not work! It was a job just to get to the pool and beach! Will never stay there again!

Great Resort! When we arrived, we were greeted with a clean and tidy condo. We had no issues with our room throught the stay and we were impressed with the amenities the resort offered. Has a small restaurant and ice cream shop on the sky bridge that was nice to have. About 8 mins away from Pier Park so it is located in a great location in PCB. Great view and clean beach!

Emerald would only be taking it lightly! Service was awesome and the beach makes it worth every penny!

The room was very nice and spacious. Could have used a tad more cleaning, but overall great experience with the room. Love the sky bridge access to the parking garage. Easy beach access and great view from the condo balcony. Loved the pool. Great for kids. 3 different pools to choose from. Only reason it didnt get a 5 star is all the other amenities were closed because of the COVID-19 nonsense ( bars, game rooms, gym, and shops were closed. All that was open was the gift shop. Overall great experience. Highly reccomend.

Being in the beach is nice and the view is beautiful from the master room and the balcony. But the parking and how far you have to walk to your room is ridiculous!! You have to park in the parking deck, take an elevator from the floor your on to the lobby. Then from the lobby you have to take another elevator to your floor. Unloading your vehicle this way is a pain. I spent 1,500 to stay here, today is Wednesday and we checked in on Monday. I still have yet to see housekeeping or receive more trash bags. I ve called the front desk twice yesterday and 2 times today. No one answers unless you have a medical emergency. It s quite frustrating trying to get some simple amenities around here. I won t book here ever again. Simply due to the parking situation.

Only complaints are toaster was broke, bunk bed top was broke, and master bed was not the best. Other than that great location and great place for families!

Terrible sewage odors all week. 4 of 8 elevators out all week to serve a 25 story condo over Labor Day. Kids running wild. Claims to have 3 pools but 1 completely closed. Shuts down other pools at 10pm. Will never consider this place again!

7:30 am every morning grounds crew ran gas leaf blower for 30 min. Not the way to wake up on a vacation. Condo management needs to find a better solution. Wait till 9 or 10 am or use a battery powered blower. Using a gas leaf blower at 7:30 am for 30 mins at a condo with 19 floors housing hundreds of guest is ridiculously .

Amazing facility! It was a little difficult to find being it was not brought to my attention that it is in with Wyndham Resorts so keep that in mind. Other than that and having to get on and off, on and off of elevators just to get to your room it is definitely 5 star rated in my book. We were on the 19th floor. The room was nice and clean, 1 bed, 1 bunk bed, and a pull out couch. The gentleman at the front desk programmed our key wrong but he so polite when we went to get it fixed and apologized. Inside of the hotel there is a Sky Bar where you can get a drink, an icecream shop, Starbucks, and a very nice pool. Everyone is so polite I would definitely stay again!

Clean condo. Fast elevators. You can park your car in the parking garage and walk to a lot of different eateries and souvenir shops. Great views of the gulf. Oh, did I mention fast elevators. Heated pool is nice too, especially in October.

Miranda at check in was amazing and very helpful. Candy Gambino treated us like VIPs and made our trip. We loved her. This was our first time in Panama City let alone this resort. The condo was awesome. The wait for the elevators was bad but not sure how you improve that. The beach was amazing. The water clearer than any other place I ve ever been. The place while it has potential is unkept and outdated. The condo I had was not just dirty, but unsafe.

The only reason its not 5 stars is the parking deck would fill up every night. I noticed car fulls of teenagers coming in. Not sure the parking is checked regularly for passes. Other than that no complaints.

We stayed at the boardwalk beach hotel. The staff was okay, the rooms were clean but small. The walls are super thin and you can hear everything next door. It was an okay stay for the weekend but definitely wouldnt stay longer than that.

There was only 2 elevators it took forever to get anywhere. The condos above us was very loud.

High end resort with plenty of on property amenities.

Terrible place to stay. This resorts shuts the water off for 3 to 6 hours every other day. If you plan to stay a full week in PCB book somewhere else!
