Great place to stay although Miss Maryam at the front desk took it upon herself to run my credit card when I was not there for an approval and also told me that she was the manager and she's not the manager and when I confronted her about it she had no remembrance of running my credit card but she told my travel agent that she ran the credit card not happy with that service at all

Rooms need renovation for sure. At first, I ve got a room that smelled like an ashtray (first floor, on the very left). After talking to a manager I've got a room on the top floor (on the far left again). It didn't smell bad, however, I heard conditioners working all night long and felt vibrations. Plus, the view was far from good, I opened curtains once and closed them immediately. The good thing is I've got free drink upon check-in and the layout of the room has been really nice, I liked that the entrance to the toilet was accessible from the living room AND from the bedroom. So if your family is sleeping in the bedroom, you can easily access the toilet without waking up people you love (for example, if you stay in Homewood Suites by Hilton, you ll have to cross the bedroom to access the toilet or go to the lobby). One more thing I didn't like is when people were yelling in the hallway for a few hours, seemed like they celebrated something. It was super loud, and it took a while to fell asleep. I would give this place 3,5 stars.

Started off being advised that checking in late means we missed out on breakfast vouchers. So much for a free breakfast when they punish you for checking in late. Rooms were decent and clean. Make sure to ask for extra towels.

The breakfast buffet has gone done in quality. No waffles. The room was ok. The hotel needed vacuuming. There is an A.C. runoff in the shower which is kinda nasty. Tried to change rooms but it is in most of the rooms. So while you shower you will get a surprise downpour.

The hotel staff double charged us for the room. We had already paid in advance by credit card then they wanted payment at check in. I told them I had already paid but they said the first charge was a temporary hold so I paid again (or they weren't going to let us check in). When I called the credit card company they said it was a full charge, Not temporary. 2 hours after arguing with the check in desk they agreed to refund the second charge but it would take 5-10 business days. I never even got an apology from the hotel. Then they tried to do the SAME THING to my sister. Miserable way to start a vacation. The rooms were clean and a good size but way over priced.

To be honest, I wasn t able to give this place 0 stars because it wasn t an option. On Saturday May18, 2019, my daughter had a birthday party at Adventure Landing Waterpark. A couple of family members came from out of town and I highly recommended this hotel. To my surprise it was the worst decision ever. I understand from checkout that they have a no party policy which clearly states, no balloons, no decorations and no birthday cake. Well, I never read that pizza was not allowed. When I came to the door I was bum rushed by 5 associates. The manager stopped us and told us that we are not allowed to bring in party items. Now, if we had balloons, cake and party decorations then I would understand him stopping us and telling us that a party was not allowed. Now, I will say the manager did greet us.. but his response after that was far from professional. If he would have asked or even looked at our wristbands he would of saw that we just came from a party. Don t assume.. ASK! My seven year old had to hear him tell us that food and party items was not allowed. I wanted to quickly respond to him the way he responded to me but I didn t want to display my behavior in front of my child. After about two minutes of going around with the manager he finally agreed with a sarcastic response to allow them to eat at the table. I got settled in and before I brought in my gifts from the party I went to the front desk to ask if I could bring in her gifts from the party and not be harassed. This will indeed be the last time I stay at this hotel or recommend this hotel. One thing for certain in the business world, CUSTOMER SERVICE is a NECESSITY. I do not appreciate being harassed and I believe if a simple question was asked or a simply apology was given, then this review would not exist. When I pay 284.00 for something I expect to receive Professional service. I believe that Embassy Suites prides their business on service, but if they don t give the manager of this business better management coaching skills, then everything that you all are working hard to promote will be in vain. Word of mouth can be your best or worst advertisement for your business. Choice your words wisely!

We stayed there Christmas night. We choose this hotel due to heated in door pool and hot tub. When we called to confirm it was working they said it was and from 10PM-11PM it was 21 and over.

We stayed on the 7th floor and the room was nice but the bathroom and middle of the room the ceiling was only 7 ft tall and this felt odd since I'm 6'4. The bathroom was small.

We hit the pool and was happy it was a saltwater pool and it was warm. The hot tub was great temp too. When 10 PM came no one came in to ask the kids to leave. I should not be the one that needs to call the front desk to ask them to enforce their policy that they state on the phone and on the signs in the pool area.

The next morning the TV didn't work due to it was raining.

Over all the hotel was nice but excepted more for a hotel that offers all suites

This has to be the sorriest Hotel, especially Embassy Suites, that I have ever stayed at! And I travel all over the U.S. 200 days in a year. Shower filled with mildew, drain filled with hair, sink & shower clogged, just absolutely pathetic all in all! Sliding glass door window hasn't been cleaned in a very long time, greasy finger & hand prints, balcony has garbage left on floor. They told me that I was being upgraded, what a joke,, it's the worst room I've ever stayed in, you can hear all the traffic as if the windows were opened. As a Diamond member, this was an insult! Absolutely disgusting!

It is quite large. Check-in was smooth and the suite spacious. The bed is comfortable, but the bathroom needs a little work in the cleanliness area particularly the floor. The breakfast is made to order and buffet style that is very good. Check out was just as smooth. Good experience overall.

A nice place and rooms were clean. Shower was cool and did not drain well at all. Noise from the people downstairs was too loud made it hard to sleep. Air system was rattling on and off.

I'm not an Embassy Suites homer, therefore, I will not gush over the hotel which was expected. However, I must comment on how much my family and friends appreciated the staff. From the minute we arrived till the end of our stay, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The front desk, manager, bartenders, and especially the ladies that were cleaning the table were the best. I will definitely stay at this hotel when I visit the Jacksonville area.

My husband and I were enjoying our 11th Anniversar...

My husband and I were enjoying our 11th Anniversary. We traveled to Jacksonville from Columbia SC. It was day 2 of our stay. We had been back in our room about an hour from shopping all day. I jumped in the shower to prepare for our dinner date. My husband states security knocked ignoring the do not disturb sign and said they got a call about noise I'm assuming from the shower and TV which was not loud. My husband told him he must have the wrong room. A short while later security returned with management or a worker this time stating the hall smells of smoke coming from our room that they never entered. Still in my bath robe I ask what this is about as we are not smokers and are making no noise. The worker states we have to leave with this explanation and we are baffled. We travel with Hilton at least 3 times a year. We are silver Hilton honors members. My husband is a disabled vet. And we were put out at 830 pm. We asked if we will be refunded. The worker stated we will be charged for the whole stay even the days reserved after being put out + a $300 fee. We did not argue as I have seen a lot of racial profiling going on in Hotels on the news. We will handle it once back in our State. I am very disappointed because I love Hilton and we have never experienced such an act for doing nothing at all from any Hotel. We can't understand why we were targeted and treated this way but I thank god we were still able to make the best of our Anniversary night at another Hotel. Be mindful I don't want this to happen to any one else.

It's been a few years since I last stayed at an Embassy suites. Maybe it's just this location but rather than feeling like I was stating at an upscale hotel, it seemed like I was stating in a super 8 motel room. The room was falling apart. No landline Ethernet port in rooms for faster internet, and it just felt dated and old. Everything outside of the room was fine. Good breakfast and pool.
