Good food at the banquet facility.... terrible management at the hotel. Paid for a "City & River" view... our view consisted of Steak & Shake, and the river lapping at the edge of their parking lot. When I complained to management got two "go pound sand" replies, then an admission that the views are actually in the next door rooms, but not the advertised "Corner suite"... classic example of bait and switch.

AOPA held a 2 hour safety seminar in one of the meeting rooms. The speaker was interrupted twice by noise coming from an adjacent room. Otherwise very accomodating.
Excellent place for family and friends. Also a quick stop for business meetings, or weddings. All of your convention needs in one place.

Rooms were great, stay was fun, food and drinx were fabulous! Great ambiance to sit and visit with friends and family. All service was wonderful with the exception of the bartender at the 5:30-7:30 special. She could be a little rude.
Garbage had reservations from Wednesday thru Saturday got there Wednesday for our convention no room's come back tomorrow not good
Not a bad place to stay if you are in town. Reasonable rates and a nice pool and hot tub.

Great location on the river and also connected to the convention center next door via 2nd floor bridge. Pretty standard embassy suites on the inside. Free breakfast is always delicious and the staff is very friendly. Room was clean and our view of the river was nice. There's only so much to see in Peoria.
Very clean and comfortable rooms. Staff was so accommodating, especially to young children. We we're here for a farm bureau young leaders convention and all the staff was so nice. Would stay again
Very clean! Stayed here overnight for a professional meeting. Large rooms, great food, and a shuttle that will take you anywhere with a few miles for free. Solid wifi in my room and conference facility. Great view of the Peoria skyline and Illinois River, too. We will definitely be back!!

It was very clean and nice. People were friendly, I was there for a job fair and was shown exactly where to go... Never being there before.
Clean room, friendly staff, and nice views of the river. Breakfast was mediocre, no free WiFi, odd hours for the cafe (impossible to get a cup of coffee at 5:30pm Saturday), and the poorly stocked bar closes at 11pm on a Friday.
I wish I had more info. I was there for a pokemon go raid in this instance so I can only speak to the parking whicv seemed great. That said, I've been there for Anime Zap a number of times and can honestly say that their conference center is top notch. As is their service. :)
Was there for as meeting. The tested is great, however ran out pulled pork when to many of us ordered it for luncj.

We had our own conference room within the restaurant. Even though the waiter was short staffed and had to work the bar and conference rooms by himself, he was fantastic and friendly. Beautiful place. Will definitely go again.
Stayed here for an entire weekend during a high school meet. The hotel rooms were very nicely kept and it added to the experience of driving 5 hours away from home for a competition.

Our wedding reception was help at the Embassy Suites in June of 2015, and I have not one complaint! We worked with started working with Nicole a year before the wedding and she guided us through every step. We were not able to get into the venue until 2:30 on the day of our wedding, which was pretty scary to my mother and I, but Nicole assured us that they are used to working with that time frame and I can honestly say that the room flip was completely successful because nothing was out of place when the doors opened. You often hear people complain about wedding food, and for that reason my expectation weren't very high. We had the Embassy Steak and Stuffed Chicken and it was insanely delicious! I was slightly concerned that maybe the head table was the only one with good food, but my parent's said theirs was amazing too. So then I thought, well maybe it was just the head table and the parent's table. Nope. All wedding guests LOVED the food. Compliments to the chef! The staff was all very friendly and accommodating. Every inch of the facility is very well kept and clean. When my new husband and I went up to our complimentary room, there was a gift, a treat, and a sweet card. It was an incredible experience. At the end of the night you could see my dad sitting up at the head table with the biggest grin on his face, saying..."this was worth every penny!" As the first of four daughters to get married, I'd say that was a pretty bold statement! Thank you to Embassy, and specifically Nicole, for a flawless wedding day!
Went for a company function, service was great pleasant food was good but, OMG...$3 for a soda and they don't even give you the entire thing, maybe 3/4 of it, $28 for 2 doubles and they only carry premium (not that I mind that part) in small glasses, what do they think it's downtown Chicago, it's East Peoria for God's sake. Free coffee and water, how gracious. Over priced for what it is.
The room was super nice but the air wasn't working. But maintenance did bring us a fan to help.

Second time staying at this hotel. It's beautiful and the river view is lovely.
I'll stick with the cons on this post, though.
1) The pillows were terrible. Incredibly thin and rough feather pillows. Woke up with a sore neck no matter which pillow or what way I laid.
2) Our air conditioning in our room did not work properly. We had it set to 50 degrees and the fan on constantly for several hours and it did not get cooler in the room.
3) Do not expect to get peace and quiet in the pool or hot tub. It was always full with children being loud (Not the hotel's fault, just an additional comment.)
4) We ordered a king size bed, and I'm no mattress size expert, but it seemed pretty small for a king.
Note: This first time we stayed there we had zero issues. Maybe we just got unlucky.

I've now stayed their a couple times and, while being pricy, it is the best hotel in Central Illinois in my opinion. Would recommend it to anyone as they have a great breakfast and free drinks and snacks in evenings.
Stayed at this hotel for the second time in a year. Staff is still very friendly. Breakfast is outstanding. Only constructive feedback is that the rooms are ready for refurbishment/rennovation (but are well maintained and very clean). This is one of the nicest hotels in central Illinois.

The staff is always helpful at this Embassy Suites. Not every hotel chain can say that. And of course the free breakfast is always a nice bonus.

Good for a room, not so much for a conference. I have stayed at this Embessy Suites many times and it was always a fantastic stay with great staff. However, I just finished a day long conference in one of the rooms and it was not what I experienced previously. The "breakfast" was your choice of a small muffin, or a piece of fruit. This could be a contract issue with the vendor of just sub par selections. But after that, it wasn't much better. Unfortunately the garbage was never collected from the room throughout the day, so I got to smell a rotting banana peel (from breakfast) all day. I would have expected the cleaning crew to come in during lunch break to removed the morning garbage. Also the room thermostat was set below 65 degrees, but the room was about 75 degrees all day. We ended up having to open the room doors all day to bring the temp down. I am hoping our messages to the hotel get addressed before tomorrows 8 hour meeting.
Better value than other Motels. Free full breakfast, drinks in evening. Very friendly employees.

We had a wonderful stay at the Embassy Suites. We had greeted warmly at the reception area when we were getting drinks there for happy hour as well as a great meal at the river side cafe. I got a quesadilla and a cracked egg burger. My friend got a roasted chicken breast with rice. Both were at great temperature and seasoned really well.

This was my first time to the city. They were very accommodating and nice. Breakfast was awesome. I would definitely recommend staying here. The rooms are relaxing.

The room has plenty of area to move around and not feel cramped. The people at the front desk made it so easy to check in and check out. They also greet you with a big smile that makes it seem like they actually care about how you are doing.
Outstanding hotel! Rooms were very comfortable and clean. The breakfast that comes with a hotel stay is very impressive! Includes a fresh omelet station in addition to the breakfast bar. Would stay there again when in the area.

Nice hotel. Rude front desk. I called to ask for the phone number of the internet provider to help me connect my Apple Tv to the internet, she was very unhelpful and just continued to tell me that their tvs weren't normal tvs and didn't support "those things". Anyone that knows anything about Apple TV knows all you need is a hdmi port. I kept my cool and tried to explain exactly what an Apple TV was and why I needed the internet provider number, she continued her "the tvs come from a warehouse and aren't like the tvs you have at home" speech, I just said ok that's fine sorry to bother you and she hung up. No hard feelings, I do like this hotel. I was mostly frustrated that she was just acting like I was dumb and didn't know what I was talking about, completely disregarding the fact that I could possibly know more about how technology works than she does. I guess I will just use it conected to my phones hotspot and pay the extra fees. It does in fact work on the "warehouse tv" btw and the internet was the problem all along . Who would have thought! Lmao!
I was there to meet with my class reunion committee. The folks at the front desk didn't know where my group was even though they had asked for a table to gather around. The desk sent me to a possible area on the second floor. When I got back to the lobby I finally found my group without any further assistance. While we worked on the specifics for the reunion we got drinks and I felt the price was too high. In fact the price was higher than I paid the last time I was in the airport bar. Our meeting was a good time but I didn't care much for the hotel. Thankfully, I wasn't staying there.

The hotel is really nice, free made to order breakfast included and free happy hour drinks and snacks. The staff was also so sweet and helpful when I was eating breakfast with my 2 toddlers because my husband had already left which meant a lot to me.

Everything was great, except the air-conditioning. I was unable to cool the room to a sufficient level, and I understood the bathroom door needed to be closed.
