It is okay, nothing away from what you will spect to getting for the price, the breakfast potatoes are really good, some guys from the staff are grumpy but that didn't screw up our time there.

An upper-mid priced hotel with extensive conference facilities. The Hotel decor is modern and the lobby is a great place to read a book or get some work done. My only complaint is the wireless internet is not free with most rooms. Nonetheless, the outstanding amenities make this an ideal place to stay for the business traveler.

Fantastic and friendly staff. After a long drive she made me feel like we were home. Got us in early to our room. Great room. Great location. Walked the river. The only downer was the young man who staffed the Happy hour time. Unfriendly and curt.

This is by far one of the most amazing places to stay. The hotel is gorgeous. The rooms are truly all, ALL suites, with kitchenette. The pool was clean and perfect temp. Managers reception with a free dinner and the breakfast, Oh My Goodness...the breakfast was AMAZING! Cooked to order! Omelettes! French toast! Pancakes! Sausage! Something for everyone! And you can sit there and eat or take it back to your room. We got the family staycation deal that included a movie in room, large pizza (large is an understatement) 6 pack of soda, popcorn, candies...and we got a late check out (2pm) so we could sleep in and enjoy the pool some more. All this for just over $100 for the night! They also have a romance night that includes roses, champagne or sparkling cider and dinner in suits. Same price!

I'm from the surrounding community and attend Illinois Central College. A few of my classmates and I were planning on doing a short film for the ICC Film Festival in the spring and wanted to film at the Embassy Suites. We called in advance and talked to someone about whether the hotel would be willing to cooperate with us for shooting and they we're very accommodating to our needs at the time -- we told them we would book the hotel for the whole night and would need to shoot in the lobby later at night. So the following weekend we visited the hotel to talk with someone in person just to clarify our needs and book a reservation. They even allowed us to look into our room before we booked. So we decided to make our reservation for February 10th. The front desk man took my friend's ID in order to make the reservation -- which I assumed was also to get our ages, names, and other information. The day came when we were set to film. When we showed up at 2 for check in we went up to the desk and attempted to check in. Only then were then told that we now had to be 21 in order to reserve the hotel room -- we're all 18 & 19 year olds. The reason this is interesting is because the woman who initially tried to check us in told us that there was a new note on the computer that hadn't been there 30 minutes prior -- which said (21?). So I asked to speak to someone about this. The general manager came out and told us that they were under the impression that we only wanted the room for "a few hours" which I was positive wasn't the case because I specifically said that we would rent the room for the whole night. So I asked why the clerk had taken my friend's ID if they weren't going to check the age regulation and he proceed to tip-toe around the subject as if I was a fool. I fully believe that they attempted to manipulate us because of our age. So we were told that we had to have someone 21+ to stay with us while we were shooting. Frenzied, we tried to find someone that could on such short notice -- my friend's grandma volunteered to stay with us the entire night. So again, I went up to the desk and asked if there would be an up charge for the extra person in our room and they were unwilling to wave the fee -- the cost of the room went up drastically. So we -- unable to afford this new fee -- had to call around to other hotels and LUCKILY the nearby Best Western was accommodating. They even gave us a discount because we got finnessed by the Embassy Suites. So in the end the Embassy Suites so graciously didn't charge us for the cancelation and we successfully finished our student film thanks to the Best Western of East Peoria.

This is a great hotel! It's always neat and tidy! In the mornings, the breakfast has an amazing selection! They always have free snacks at the snack bar. The pool and the fitness rooms are always clean! This hotel has some of the most beautiful views! It's within walking distance of some restaurants and shopping centers! The staff is always extremely nice and always there to help! I would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone!

I have gone to a couple of localized Continuing Ed Seminars here over the past couple of years.
The "meeting room" settings are very comfortable and the employees are very helpful too.

Very nice hotel. The breakfast in the morning had a wide spread including: fresh fruit, eggs, biscuits and gravey, oatmeal, pancakes made to order and coffee.
At night, there is a happy hour where they give out complimentary drinks and snacks. Yes, FREE booze and snacks.

My husband and I stayed at Embassy Suites on 5/21-...

My husband and I stayed at Embassy Suites on 5/21-5/22, right when lockdown restrictions were starting to lift. We saw one other guest in the hotel while we there, and maybe six cars in the parking lot. We were super excited to have a night away, and my mother-in-law had gifted us the room with points she had accrued.
We went to check in, and they had already assigned us a room on the second floor and activated our key cards when we got there. I was hoping to ask for a room with a view of the river, but felt kind of awkward about it since they'd already activated the keycards. The concierge told us what time breakfast would be served, and we went up. Well, turns out our room was basically under the bridge to Peoria, and you could just barely see a tiny peek of the river between the giant AC units on the roof. It was a really ugly veiw actually, and barely let any light into the room.
Woke up early the next morning so we wouldn't miss breakfast- and there was no breakfast!
We asked the manager if we had missed it, and he said, "Oh no, we don't have the staff for that."
We felt kind of stupid, but the concierge had clearly told us the times breakfast would be served. They did have coffee available, but I feel like they could have at least set out some packaged muffins at the drink station or something similar as a nice gesture. But with the beautiful pool closed due to COVID restrictions, and no breakfast, I feel like they really could have tried a little harder to make up for the lack of their usual amenities! A nicer room seems like a very easy solution when they were so underbooked. I do understand COVID made things difficult for how Embassy usually runs, but looking back, I had heard such good things and was really expecting to be blown away by the service here. It ended up being a pretty disappointing experience.

We have stayed at the hotel many times in the last 10+ years. When we checked in on Friday we were informed that they are now charging $8 a night for parking. The lot is not secured and there is no shortage of easy available parking in the area. While they did comp us that when we complained, it still is a ridiculous charge. Also they no longer have sausage or bacon on the breakfast buffet. If you want either of those items you have to go to the omelet bar and wait in line for it to be cooked. The hotel has been sold to the Atrium group, so I imagine the new owners are responsible for these changes. Despite being happy with this hotel for many years, I will look elsewhere next time. I feel sorry for the employees who have to listen to all the complaints.

We arrived at the Embassy suites in the afternoon on Christmas Day. Since the restaurant wasn't open, they offered us box lunches. We've never had a complaint about Embassy suites. We really enjoyed the cup to order breakfast each morning.
