Hello everyone,

Hello everyone,

I came to this restaurant on September 17, 2015 at approximately 8:30 pm, I received extremely poor service, my family and I waited 35 minutes to be served an appetizer in total 40 minutes for dinner. We decided to leave and only pay for our children's meal, we also noticed that other customers that came in after our family were served before us it is very possible that the staff at this restaurant are racially bias due to the fact my family and I were the only ethnic individuals at the restaurant that night ....

I LOVE THIS PLACE!!! It's impossible to leave disappointed. With a mix of a family feel and great clean eating, this is my new "go to" treat spot. The pictures are of the breakfast hash, had the vegetable soup which was great, the grass fed steak keeps me coming back and the fried chicken tastes even better reheated!!!!

Food was great. The sample of the smoothie was so good that I bought a full glass. Went there for brunch and the portions were great and everything tasted very, very good! I had an issue and they resolved it quickly for me by offering a free dessert. The dessert was eh...the brownie was a bit dry and hard. That's why the food gets a VERY GOOD and not an EXCELLENT. So I will probably just stick with brunch there. But the staff and manager were great. No complaints with them handling my issue.

The cod was good but, the ff were soggy. The baby back ribs were fatty and bbq sauce wasn't good. The kids pasta was excellent. The server gave us drinks and wasn't seen again till the check. Someone gave us bread but, no plates. The experience was not what I expected from a New York restaurant...would not eat here!

Elizabeth's is a true community/neighborhood brunch place. Like the rest of UWS, you won't see too many tourists here. The brunch menu and food itself is pretty standard and what you would expect from a good-old brunch place, though they did surprise us with free very tasty blueberry/raspberry smoothie/yogurt "shots".

They have outdoor seating which can be really nice in the summer, and this place is very popular. Great place to have your comfort food experience for brunch.

That's it for me. A burger ordered rare was rock solid, and they got the cheese wrong.

Basically healthy and fresh foods. But they have a problem cooking meat to order, usually overcooking it. I have had to return a meatloaf that was hard as rock, and lamb burgers well done that I had ordered medium rare. THeir staff is a little scatterbrained, getting orders wrong. So you have to stay on top of things. I order there because there aren't a lot of healthy alternatives on the UWS. At least you know it's made from scratch, not precooked semi-fastfood. If there were a better place, I wouldn't come here.
They do have great mashed potatoes, though.

I have a very wonderful NYC story about Liz and how I met her while waiting on line at Shakespeare in the Park. She s a beautiful woman who, without having ever met me, invited me to her place to dry off. Her restaurant reflects the warmth that she exudes.

Had a wonderful dinner last night w/ my wife at Elizabeth's -- we shared a baby arugula salad w/ dried cranberries, pomegranates, & roasted walnuts. wife then had loch durate (Scottish) salmon -- which i tasted & was delicious -- w/ quinoa w/ pickled leeks; i had chicken cordon bleu -- absolutely fantastic, & only the second time in, oh, thirty years, that i've ever ordered chicken in a restaurant. finished by sharing a decent, not great, but quite decent, creme brulee w/ blueberries & strawberries. also excellent double espressos.
i will be back for brunch & of course dinner.

Great place for a latin flavored brunch on Sundays. The service was great (they speak english and spanish),the food was delicious and I would've given it 5 stars if it wasn't for the lack of AC on a summer day...
I'll be going back again (when the temperature drops)

Very cozy and quiet place to eat and relax, good music not too loud.

Very quaint. Beautiful place, when we were walking to it I was hoping it was the restaurant before we even turned the corner. Porch swing out front. Fresh food, good with food allergies and reasonably priced.

Went there for brunch and the meal was delicious, the portion size was very generous. Took more than half home. The staff was friendly and greeted us with a kale smoothie shot. Good selection of brunch drinks as well as coffee and teas. The place is beautiful and has indoor and outdoor sitting.

Kind of amusing why i don't see many Baruch grad students go here for an afterwork stiffy. The Burgers are good, and down them with wine. Best way to get regression analysis out of your head.

Great place to come to have a casual dinner in a nice low key casual atmosphere. They great coffee options, cocktails selection, salads, main dishes, desserts, seating is plentiful and they have sufficient parking for that area (unheard of).

Walking up Columbus, I thought I landed on the Cape or Ct Shoreline as the outside looks like New England. Going in, I find the staff to be very friendly and the food to be terrific. Another locally owned restaurant where the chef is also the owner. Makes all the difference. Try it,you won't be disappointed

Waited 20 minutes after being seated just for the waitress to come to our table, waited another 30 minutes to get food and was disappointed when it arrived. Not worth the wait or the money

Cozy and comfortable spot, cheerful service, and the best burgers we have had in our travels across country. Great menu selections, organic and glutton free choices. Is a real keeper at a great value. An added plus is that it is close to Central Park. Have yourself a wonderful meal and then stroll it off in the park!

Yummy yummy yummy. The food took a while to arrive, but that's probably because I got there late. It was worth the wait though... homestyle & comfort food in a quaint hometown diner environment.

Elizabeth's is a great, neighborhood eatery. The bar is inviting. And conversations with locals can easily be had, if you are so inclined.
I appreciate their gluten free bread offerings.
Try the crab cake.... it won't disappoint.

Waffle machine was broken, out of strawberry butter, Bloody Maria wasn t even worth it being free, dishes were average at best especially compared to the hype on the menu. Service was adequate. Took 10min to pay our bill, finally had to take it up to the bar. Bathrooms were disgusting at 11:30am, 2.5hrs after opening.

Elizabeth's is one of those restaurants where you feel like you're eating in someone's home. Kind of like an UWS version of Penelope in Murray Hill. Very quaint. Great alternative to the downtown brunch scene as I've never had to wait for a table here.

The food is your standard brunch fare, but done very well. Their stuffed french toast is amazing if you're looking for something sweet. The breakfast sandwich is insanely good but super heavy and will definitely put you in a food coma. The biscuit with sausage gravy was fine but a bit dense for my taste, although some people prefer their biscuits that way.

They start everyone off with a double shot of their smoothie of the day. Two healthy sips that will make it OK to eat whatever you want afterward!

Great brunch place on the upper west side. A complimentary smoothie comes with breakfast, food is usually pretty good, nice outdoor seating. Service can sometimes be a bit slow, but generally not terrible.

Nice to sit outside.

I think our waiter left half way through our meal. For the second part, our server kept changing which was odd.

Service non-existent. Took forever to order. When food came, after a long wait, they told us they ran out of one of our orders. After they said "you're getting the last one we have"--they didn't have it! But charged for it when bill came.

The menu at Elizabeth's Neighborhood Table is fairly good and the brunch offerings are more affordable than Gabriela's. I'd recommend the salmon burger. The last time I visited it was very moist and deliciously done. It was, in fact, better cooked than when I ordered it at the original Elizabeth's Neighborhood Table location next door.

This is an amazing little gem. I had their stuffed french toast. Not only was it a huge dish but it was simply amazing. I could not think of a better way to make it.
The person I was with had poached eggs, and they were the best I have ever tasted. The look, the texture, everything was perfect. We even wound up buying their coffee we enjoyed it. Do not pass this place up.

I have eaten at Elizabeth's several times and enjoyed the experience so much that I made plans to meet a friend there today. You can imagine my surprise when my friend' who got there earlier, told me it was closed. When I arrived, she was speaking to Liz, one of the owners, who told us what happened. The only good news is that Elizabeth's is reopening next door in Gabriela's. I can hardly wait! Good food, friendly service, and a delightfully calm and organized environment. Good luck Liz!

Disgusting, I go there for brunch and it was great, then I went for lunch and ask for chicken wings, it came with feathers, I ask the manager to do something, and he told that is chicken it's the way it is. So I say I don't want them, but they still charge me.
