Talking with the young lady Gia Crazythunder made me realize some of the opportunities that I missed out on over the years. But I will gladly spread the word about this company to many others that may need their services

I worked for EMC for about two months. I worked as a Field Representative selling TV services in major retailers. I was promoted soon after joining the company and was asked to begin forming my own team.
PROS -Quick promotions and recognition of what you're doing well -A really fun office experience; I really liked my coworkers a lot
CONS -Disorganized training procedures. I wasn't placed with my direct boss in the field until right before I got promoted (a month in), so he didn't even know my strengths or weaknesses and struggled to give me relevant advice. I also wasn't told several important things before working, such as how to enter the warehouse before it opened and when I'd be finished working. EDIT: I was not placed IN THE FIELD with my direct boss for about a month. I was trained in the office, but he never got to see what I was learning in action. -Few opportunities to have genuine, enjoyable interactions with customers and coworkers. As they will tell you in the office, sales isn't for everyone. I'm a very relational person, so being treated like I was poisonous all day by customers passing me began to weigh me down a bit. -Huge emphasis on sales. Of course, this is a sales job. However, if you have a few rough days, you are pressured in the office to make above your hourly rate. I had a rough week when I first started, and my hours were cut to part time the next week. -Disorganized scheduling. I often wouldn't know my schedule until two days into the week. The turnover rate for this company is so high that sometimes, forming the schedule is just really difficult. I understand that, but I'd like to know if I'm working tomorrow. -Selling an unnecessary product. I personally have never seen a need for cable or satellite TV. I'd rather go outside or read a book than plop down in front of the television. Because of this, I was selling a product that I didn't believe in. That made it difficult for me to feel good about what I was doing every day. This was the ONE BIGGEST FACTOR that made it difficult for me to sell regularly. The longer I worked for this company, the more I realized how unnecessary the product was and how I needed to find ways to convince myself why it was necessary. If you DO see the necessity for these services, you may not have that issue.
If you... -want to look forward to going to work every day -desire to sell a product that you believe in -want to avoid monotonous tasks and exchanges with customers -would like to be reasonably challenged in your workplace -desire to have meaningful interactions and connections with others -want an employer you believe is completely trustworthy and -need insurance or healthcare benefits of any kind...
then this company is NOT for you. Remember, the people who work here are incredibly good at selling things- including this position. Their desire is to sell you on this position, so they'll dress it up as nicely as they can. When you finally get the job, you may realize that a lot of it was a front to pull you in.
EDIT: I did spend some time looking for a job with the retailer in which I was working, and that was definitely a mistake on my part. However, I was told by many employees at these retailers that I should apply for their department, and they requested that I let them know once I applied since the number of applications was sometimes overwhelming and I may be missed. When I did, I notified the department heads and waited to be contacted. In hindsight, that was probably not wise. However, I learned my lesson and am ecstatic to be working for a company that adequately rewards my efforts monetarily. I now enjoy work every day and look forward to what I do. That's the most important thing.
Take great caution when dealing with this company.
Excellent company for growth. If you are willing to work hard the sky is really the limit. Really professional environment that caters toward professional and personal growth.
This company is one of the most professional well run companies I have seen in a long time. The office is very organized and everyone seems very happy. The employees are polite, very courteous and customer service oriented.
It is a plus that this company gives back to the community by feeding the elderly and making large donations to charity.
The owners genuinely give their all to promote their employees from within to ensure their overall success. Outstanding job!!
Elite Media Communications offers the best career opportunity in Wisconsin! You can learn and grow as a professional. The work environment is phenomenal. Everyone is very friendly and helpful which allows you to feel extremely comfortable. I've never been a part of a company where every morning I wake up excited to go to work; however, Elite Media Communications offers that amazing feeling. If you're an individual who's tired of working everyday without any advancement opportunity I would recommend that you apply and give it a shot. No sales experience is needed just an above average student mentality!
Was a fun place to work. Manager and veteran workers were invested in my training and wanted to see me succeed. Just was not a good fit for me personally but I was able to leave on good terms and would recommend this job to anyone who wants to get into sales/management.
Awesome company to work for! They value each and every employee and see potential in them. If you re looking for growth opportunity this is definitely the place to be !
I feel obligated to warn those in consideration to be cautious when considering joining this scheming team. Please do your research and due diligence. There may be possibilities of success, but there have been too many horror stories. Be careful. Even glancing through the reviews, there are 5s or 1s, which raises concern. 5s appear to be largely from family members and the wife herself, with 10 months since the last review. Just be careful. Good luck.
Talking about Elite Media Communications with Gia made me realize how much your services would benefit young entrepreneurs to optimize their career potential. I will use this information to help others become aware of this outstanding opportunity for personal and professional growth. Keep up the good work!
Amazing company to work for and if you want to work in a fun, exciting, and gain fast managerial success; I highly recommend you apply. I ve never worked for a company that I actually enjoy going to work every day. Leigh Jackson and his wife, Brandie Jackson are two of the most professional yet fun people I have ever worked with and for. If you enjoy hard work in successful, constantly growing company; apply now!
I am currently working as an intern for Elite Media Communications and the staff is so friendly. Leigh Jackson works well around student schedules and understands the workload we have. My team leader Cierra is super focused and supportive on helping me improve as an individual.
You know those people who harass you in Walmart trying to sell you direct TV? This is what your job will be. The owner gets very defensive when you write an honest review of the company. I don't trust his temperament. Go back and look at his reply to the lady they accused of theft until the TV showed up in another room, he claims she didn't steal the TV, she stole something else, and he didn't purpose legal action because he didn't want her to have a criminal record. That's about as blatantly dishonest as a person can be. Really, you're not going to to pursue legal action against someone who stole from you? Any other lies?
My Wife just started working there and I see nothing but smiles when she gets home!. She always wanted a job that she would enjoy doing and she finally found it! If she loves this company so do I!
This is a great place to work! The company is very team oriented, allowing for a lot of growth opportunity both professionally and personally. I've learned so much since I started working here and feel so motivated in my professional career. Leigh, the CEO, is amazing at always being there to help and the environment of the office is very family oriented!
I am currently working with Elite Media Company 2wks now. I have had many job experiences and many bosses and i have to say...Leigh Jackson is the best boss I have ever had. His teaching style is very modest and to the point. I truly am inspired to grow and build with this company while i spread my own wings and fulfil my own agenda. I am an opportunist and this company will genuinely coach and assist me to fulfil my goals. I am extremely choosy when it comes to who i decide to give my efforts to because i know my potential and where im headed. That being said...my desire to help my manager and boss achieve their goals as well as mine is in full force. I strongly recommend any individuals that are willing to take a chance on themselves, in a commision based pay, that will mold you into your own role as a leader...come out of the woodworks and join this amazing team!
They harassed me for weeks with text messages begging me to come in for an interview. I come to the interview and the owner rushes through it and doesn't take a moment to get to know me. Basically they want to hire people who don't know any better and are desperate for employment. I guess I didn't give off that impression. I felt it was very unprofessional that they texted me instead of calling me so I just ignored them for weeks. Finally after a few weeks they did call and the girl on the phone seemed like they were desperate to interview me and I had another appointment on that side of town so I took them up on the offer. If you want to be one of those people trying to sell subscriptions to direct TV in walmart, or begging people to take a free copy of the news paper at the grocery store this is the place for you. If you have respect for yourself or others this is not a job to consider. I walk into the office and the secretary is too busy to acknowledge me because she's texting on her phone. They rented some office space in the back of a building, as you can see by the pictures they like to dress fancy and present an image that isn't accurate.
I think Elite Media is by far one of the most professional businesses with deligent representatives. I had the pleasure of working with a young lady by the name of Gia. Great communication and customer service, she made me feel like family while conducting business for service. I highly recommend them!!
I worked at Elite a little bit ago for a summer, but felt an obligation to write a review as I keep seeing their job postings pop up. I think there are pros and cons for working here, which is why I gave it a 4 stars.
1. It is a HEAVY sales job, which I think was a little tricky to see from the job description. I know I was tricked a little bit but decided to still continue. You will be selling products (I sold DirectTV) at Sam's Clubs and Menards, to customers walking through the aisle. It can be very hard sometimes, especially on days where it seems like nobody wants
2. With that being said, if you like sales, this is probably one of the best sales jobs out there. I was not too much of a fan but I learned A LOT. I always got paid, got trained very well almost every day, and loved the interaction with customers who had good experiences. I was never encouraged to lie to any customer to make a sale.
3. Most importantly, the strongest asset of Elite is it's people. I absolutely loved my coworkers, account manager, and the CEO. They understand sales can be hard and defeating, and they go very much out of their way to help new people out to train or come to the store with them. Everyone who works there is very high energy and I believe truly look out for the newer younger members (like myself)
TL;DR: it's a pure sales commission job at department stores, but if you like sales the coworkers are great and this is probably one of the better sales companies out there. I had a great summer and learned a lot!
The people I work with are so positive and supportive. Everyone wants to see each other succeed, and I'm excited to go to work every day. I learn more about communication and sales every day . I look forward to the leadership opportunities and find that my current leader is my best resource.
This place was a disaster. The husband and wife duo do not have it all together. They are money hungry and will sell you a bunch of crock to fatten their pockets. The job does offer any benefits, pto, insurance, etc. I worked as an admin setting up interviews, which was fine, but how they market the position is very wrong. They also accused me of stealing their flat screen t,v, which was later found hiding in their conference room. Whatever you do, don't waste your time on their schemes!
The workers are very customer centric and try to enhance the shopping experience for everyone. They have a very welcoming attitude as well as a great knowledge of the products. Everyone apart of the company demonstrates excellent customer service and promotes a successful culture around the office. I have had an amazing experience with the people within the office and am very thankful for this opportunity!
Its a scam, fake professionalism, do not waste your time. If you do decide to try the managment position aka sales rep for direct tv; standing in costco for 12 hours, hidding behind an aisle by the entrance & forcingly approach every customer by suprise that walks by to try to scam them into buying direct tv. Thats the run down after the 5-day training. Good luck, remember that I told you so lol
Elite Media is a great company, and the people there are very friendly and helpful. It has a great work atmosphere, and the environment is welcoming and easygoing.
Elite Media Communications provides its employees with an unbelievable amount of opportunity. From building relationships with major companies to the entrepreneurial possibilities, this agency has a sure fire guide to success. Representative Gia Crazythunder introduced me to the company and I will be applying soon for my chance to be a part of this spectacular once in a lifetime deal.
Excellent environment and team camaraderie between entire office. Management willing to go above and beyond, teaching and building the skill sets for employees to further their careers and grow exponentially.
The job seams like a scam. I was asked to fill of a form on a iPad to get a back round check and it didn't work. I asked for help and was told to go home and try from home. AT&T should find another company to sell there service
Bunch of scam artists!!! They posted an ad for a receptionist position but it actually was for a position you have to sell products and earn commission !!! WASTE OF GAS TIME AND MONEY!!!!
First off this company is an awesome company. Why? Because as soon as you walk into their office you are greeted very warmly by a receptionist who sounds like they enjoy working at the place that they work at. They provide you with a very cold glass of water and is very responding and helps you in the best way possible. Overall it is a very welcoming atmosphere. There are also some once in a lifetime opportunities for entrepreneurship. You are in control of your future and how fast you move up and get promoted by the company. In my opinion one of the most spunky, nice, and well trained employees is a young beautiful lady by the name of Gia Crazythunder. She is very nice and polite and always asks how you are doing, she is very good at her job and is always putting in %110 effort no matter what her boss asks of her. Great company and great employees! 5 stars!
Gia Crazythunder introduced me to this company and I am immensely excited to learn more about it! She has inspired me to take a closer look at this company's goals and standards.
My time here with the company was short, I was given a good opportunity here to get experience in this type of work field and was glad I got the chance. The working environment was great and the people you work with are amazing people!
Elite Media Communications are a joy to work for! I love the family vibe & team get togethers. They've turned more in to family than bosses & that's what I appreciate. Glad I can be apart of a this amazing team!
I came in for an interview with the knowledge that this would be an advertising and marketing internship. I soon learned that it was anything but that and rather a flourished way of obtaining employees to work at different kiosks for att and direct tv at wholesale store. I was interviewed by the CEO for all of 3 minutes before he abruptly cut off the interview when he learned I was not able to work weekends. I think the professionalism of this company is simply not there and they should not misrepresent their intentions of employment by masking it as an internship. I honestly would not recommend anyone going in for an interview with this company. I have never experienced such lack of professionalism and I know a lot of people say this place is a scam. I feel like a lot less people would think that if they were more honest and forward with their intentions.
I just finished up a summer internship at Elite Media Communications. Over the course of these past 3 months, I have been able to learn the art of direct sales and gain some more customer service experience. The job is fairly easy if you just stick to what management teaches you during your training. One of the things I enjoyed the most about this job was the work environment. My boss and coworkers were very positive and motivating. I am grateful for the experience I gained while interning at Elite Media Communications.
Look back and find Lauren H.'s review (Local Guide). This is her husband. Lauren had horrible experiences at Elite Media. If you find her review from a couple years ago and look at the other negative reviews, the owner of this company bashes the people who left the reviews instead of thanking them for their review and apologizing for their negative experience. That's a red flag right there. Not professional by any means.
