Good located but very regular / almost bad. If you can, choose another accommodation.

The best hotel in town. Approaching western standards. For this simple village with many slums a highlight, if you want more than a drop. Clean, friendly Petsonal, good food.eigener pool but also upscale prices.

Really nice hotel, sun loungers and small pool to relax and spacious and clean rooms and comfy bed, nice breakfast buffet and also a good location. The owner Eric was very friendly and helpful and give us good advice on things to do and see.

Deserves its title as best hotel in El Nido. Staff and owner are very friendly. Feels secure with a guard at the front. Complimentary breakfast every morning with a pool in the back for guests. They have an air conditioner unit and fan in each room too. And let's not forget the cute chow chows on site!

It was my first time in El Nido, Palawan and I must say that my birthday week celebration was truly fun-filled and memorable. <br/>Our stay at Sea Cocoon Hotel made the experience a whole lot better! The location is very near everything the beach, a variety of restaurants and souvenir shops. Eric, the owner, and all the staff were very amiable, accommodating, polite, cheerful and friendly! Especially, the kuya who cooks eggs during breakfast! :)<br/>Our room was clean with a veranda (with a wonderful view), and the AC coolness is a win! <br/>Breakfast (or dinner) by the pool area added to a relaxing stay. <br/>Overall, I recommend staying at Sea Cocoon when you hit up El Nido. It made this first timer s stay simply fantastic! <br/>PS- I believe construction for the next wing is underway, with elevator/s to make it elderly-friendly. :)<br/>More power, Sea Cocoon!

Beautiful place. We been 2 time in this beach because it was amazing for the sea, sunset and for the restaurant.

I stayed here for four nights and absolutley loved it!!
The location was awesome, super close to a bunch of awesome restaurants, bars and anything else you might need.
All of the staff were beyond kind and really made us feel comfortable during our stay. We ended up having to cancel a tour we had booked due to weather and they helped us get our money back no problem which was super nice!
The pool was a great place to relax after a long hot day as well.
Finally, everything was as clean and comfortable as we could have imagined :)
All in all we don't have a single complaint about our stay and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting El Nido!

Great hotel with even greater staff. The rooms are very clean and modern. Breakfast is always a nice variety and very tasty, they will cook you eggs however you like! AC in the rooms pumps out cold air, could swear I was back in Canada. Eric the owner is also a gem, he knows all guests by there first names and is a very personable guy. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in El Nido. The location is awesome because of how close it is to the beach and all the restaurants/bars. 12/10

Clean and spacious room. Too bad for a hotel at this price, that the roadside rooms are not equipped with double glazing or better sound insulation. But good after four days of camping, the quality of the bedding and the hot shower (luxury for El-Nido) have supplanted the noise. Finally the pool is a little more appreciable

I will definitely come back to this hotel. The staff are so nice, and helpful. The rooms are excellent ,clean,and the food are delicious. It is also walking distance to shopping , dinner, and nightlife activities. Everyone enjoyed for a short visit to palawan.. We are very lucky that we have Eric, who guide us all the way, from Island Hopping, where to go and eat. Thank you again Eric .

Very well located in town. Just walking distance to everything you need, bars, restaurants and the tours offices. Room very clean, comfy beds and breakfast was excellent. Different food everyday on offer. Great value for money. Pool is at the back of the hotel with few sunbeds available.

We stayed here for two nights..the rooms were beautiful and clean. It was reasonable for its price. The staff are very accomodating and friendly. The location is great because it is near the beach and establishment. They also have generators. They also respond immediately on our queries online. I highly recommend this place!

The Hosts made us very welcome and at home,friendly atmosphere with good service.

Stayed over late December 2016 for 3 days. Definitely a luxury hotel in philipine standards but more like a usual hotel in the US. Provided all amenities even WiFi. Breakfast was the best and complimentary, which were not provided from other hotels in the area.
Cons:
-4 floors and no elevator
-WiFi was available, but had the speed of a dial-up (very slow). Better to bring your own hotspot

Being a tourist heavy location, and a block walk away from the beach. It is nice to come in a master planned hotel that thought of all the guest needs to relax after a long excursion of boat tours and sight-seeing.

Very clean rooms and facilities. Excellent service, attentive staff and good breakfast. Located within the town proper and near the restaurants and beach so it's perfect.

What a great place to stay in El Nido! The owner Eric is a great guy that gave us lots of helpful information in- and outside of El Nido, the staff is very friendly and attentive and the breakfast diverse and delicious (try the bread pudding and greek yoghurt). Additional plus point: 3-5min by foot from the center and thus close but not too loud.

Very clean, centrally located, efficient and solicitous staff, good breakfast, and very good lay-out of the room. I love the veranda overlooking Main Street and the proximity to bar hopping, island hopping, people watching. The best!!!

Maximum comfort at a budget price. Absolutely loved the beds here. Not a luxury traveller so this was a great budget yet comfortable choice, in my opinion! We stayed somewhere else more expensive and luxurious for 2 nights prior, but the beds (and blanket) at Sea Cocoon were definitely better. Guess I'm just cheap but hey, this was value for money! Reception here for mobile data and wifi was great and fast as well.

Location is great - right outside the party area but still near all the important places. Staff are helpful and courteous. No elevator now but expansion is underway and they will put one soon.

It's a nice and good hotel for tourist and has 3 cut dogs.

We left this hotel with a pleasant experience, warm. Despite the cons listed below, I put a solid five, because the kind, patient and attentive staff was always ready to help in any way! We appreciate your high return! Moments of comfort: high audibility both from the street and from the corridor. But very, very friendly staff, attentive, positive !!! from one number we were moved to another (it happened) - so in the second there are small ants, like Russian red ones, but even smaller. The breakfasts are modest. There is no kettle in the room, it s a little uncomfortable, they also did not find the iron. And yes, roosters! These roosters sutra haunt - from 3 o clock their morning begins , and then the whole city awakens. The hotel is located near a children's school. It is interesting to observe the life of schoolchildren.

Sea Cocoon is a strange name but the accommodation was truly excellent.

I staid in Sea Cocoon with my best friend for four nights and felt just like at home there. The staff is very kind, helpful and welcoming. The rooms are big, comfortable and well furnished. This is definitely the best hotel you can find in El Nido. You can also enjoy a breakfast buffet every morning with fresh and yummy food, then even prepared special meals for us because we are vegan! Otherwise there is a nice pool where you can chill after tiring days of visits around the beautiful El Nido !
I highly recommend it and would definitely come back there !

Perfect hotel in the perfect town. Everything in El Nido is amazing and the sea cocoon is in the middle of all of it. Staff is very friendly. Cold drinking water in the rooms daily. Loved it.

Nice place. Friendly staff and convenient location. The front view isn't so great and faces the street and a school yard. The back side view faces the pool and if you get the top floor, it has gorgeous views of the ocean. It is to arrange a island tour with the hotel or on your own. Super good location to walk to dinner and drinks.

Cozy place in the beautiful city of El Nido. It's right in front of the market where you find a variety of suff for shopping.

The surrounding night is very lively and very close to the downtown area.
There was a power outage at the hotel, but overall it was OK.

We stayed for 4nights here in Sea Cocoon room210, and I must say that we've made the right decision for booking our accomodation with them, especially since we travelled during the rainy season.
Nearby various food choices, bar and is close to El Nido beach were boat tours starts. (It's a plus since we were able to just walk around town without spending too much on tricycle fare)
Big and spacious room, comfy and relaxing bed, pillows and blankets! Very good A/C! Cable TV. Hot and cold shower, good water pressure. Vault inside the room. Daily room service.

Friendly and accomodating staff, from owner to the guard out front. They always greets you with a smile and would offer their best service. Kudos to Sir Eric for being hands-on with his business, for assisting us from booking to our stay. He would always greets you and have a quick chat whenever he's around. Asking how is your tour and stay, giving you advices on where to eat/place to chill/have drinks.
Loved how they took notice on small details like the air dryer out front and on the pool area (my favorite because it really helped in removing the sands/water on your toes/feet); the hair blower/dryer inside the restroom (my next favorite, haha); change of towels (my most favorite, hahaha); pool towels; umbrella's allowed to be borrowed.
we asked for hot water every night for our cup of tea, and it's free of charge, they have thermoses inside the room
complimentary buffet breakfast if there's lots of customers checked-in. But the plated breakfast was also good.
pool is nice especially after a day of island tour.

Our stay at sea cocoon made our trip worthwhile since we were able to have a comfortable / relaxing rest after a day of island tours. It's worthy of it's price! Highly recommended!!

Hotel is very simple, but nice. Rooms are clean, hotel location is perfect, walking distance from everything. They serve nice breakfast, have a good pool, just because of location, sun never catches the pool area, also missed a fridge in the room. Overall i would recommend this place

We had a wonderful stay at Sea Cocoon. It was well located close to all the bars and restaurants, but quiet enough for a good nights rest. The room was clean and the breakfast buffet had a good selection of both local and western items. What really made our stay enjoyable was the warm and friendly hospitality shown by owner Eric and his staff. Everyone was so helpful and genuinely seemed to love working here. Great hotel to stay in El Nido! Nearby the best bars and restaurants, since it is very central, and only a few meters away from the main beach. We had a lovely room with a balcony, spacious and clean. Definitely a place to stay in El Nido. We will come back! Grazie

El Nido is a neat hostel with good electricity and good water pressure inside the town. Staff is friendly too. Good accommodation for couples or families

Overpriced (90 USD+ night) for what is offered. Internet was not usable the whole evening/night while other budget places (1/3 of the price), including my own 4G globe connection at the same time had a decent connection. Very weird hotel policy: each towel that was provided has to be signed off. Extra charge when towel is taken outside of the room. Bed sheets are not made of cotton (feels a bit like plastic). The rooms and the location of the hotel are good, staff is friendly. However for this price in the Philippines I'm expecting a better value (Western standards).

Great hotel... immaculately clean and modern with all of the amenities exactly as advertised. Large clean rooms with nice furnishings... and of course, hot water and 24hr electricity, which isn't a given in El Nido :) The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly as well.

TripAdvisor rates this one of the best in El Nido. It might be, but I never had to give my laptop and phone to a receptionist to put in the wifi password. Are they scared that we share it with someone? We wouldn't, as wifi is basically not existent anyway. Scare breakfast, somewhat decent rooms, but beds are uncomfortable.

Sea Cocoon is a wonderful place to stay in El Nido. Location is good near the pier and other restos but not in the midst of the hustle and bustle.
Rooms are a good size for 2 or 3 people and the bathroom is spacious. Pool size is just right for laps or just lazing.
Staff and personnel are helpful and courteous.

Had a very good hotel experience at Sea Cocoon. Central but still away from all the noise in the main street. Got generator in case of power outage. Excellent rooms and service. Unfortunately the breakfast was not too impressive, but free with room. There is still tons of places to eat nearby. Overall very good and better than my earlier experiences with El Nido.

A clean hotel close to the beach. Room equipped with everything you need for a short stay. Staff very helpful. Breakfast consists of many different dishes to please everyone.

I give a star because it is not possible to give zero stars.
The owners of the property are also the owners of two dogs that let them free to comfortably make their needs poolside while the customers relax. It has also happened that needs are made along the stairs.
As for the structure you can read the comments of others.

This place is really nice. The staff is very accommodating and friendly. The rooms are very clean, modern amenities and have wifi. The free breakfast buffet changes daily. Theres no elevator yet but we don't mind the stairs anyway. We stayed on the 4th floor and the breeze was nice. The beach is just behind the hotel. Restaurants are scattered all over. Staff can help you with anything you need. I highly recommend this place.

A very nice place just on the edge of the main town and away from the busy and noisy areas but within easy walking distance to all the bars, restaurants and shops. Nice clean rooms with all you need, with the added bonus of a nice little balcony, perfect for drying clothes. Buffet breakfast very nice with a good choice every day.
Nice little pool at the back with a few loungers is a great bonus. Wi-Fi good here.

The accommodation space is comfortable, no toiletries are provided, you need to bring your own. The room is only basic facilities, the hotel staff is friendly, and the breakfast is not very selective.

Location is right in the middle of the town. Near restaurants and where the island hopping tours start so it's easy to go around without adding expenses on tricycle fares. Also a walking distance from the Municipal Hall where the ATMs are located.

Service was superb. Their staff were really helpful. Their front desk was open 24 hours. They accommodated us even if we arrived past midnight. We can also ask for cold and hot drinking water for free.

Room was clean and spacious. Beds are also clean and comfortable.

Bathroom had good space and clean. Quality of water was good and had a good pressure. Toilets had bidet on the side.

WiFi Internet was accessible in the room but only gets fast in the early morning. Internet is important to us since we work online. We brought our own internet via Globe and mobile internet was fast enough for us to work. Cellular signal was accessible in our room.

They have a generator which was really helpful with frequent power outages in El Nido.

Breakfast was really tasty and generous. Our first breakfast was buffet while the second breakfast was plated. Plated breakfast was still generous.

Overall it was the best hotel experience I had in El Nido.

Nice hotel in the middle of everything. We stayed 4 nights and could easily walk to the beach, shopping, restaurants, bars, etc. Extremely friendly staff give you first class treatment. The rooms are clean. Comfortable beds. The hotel owner even asked us for feedback. The buffet breakfast was nice but some food cold or possibly leftovers. Local food and some American food. The pool is cold and small. For the price I would definitely stay here again! It appears they are expanding the hotel but we were not inconvenienced by construction at all.

We had a great time staying with Sea Cocoon. All the staff were helpful and courteous. The room was very comfortable, with a balcony where you can smoke at. Only downside was there weren't any closets, cabinets, and no fridge. There are shelves to put your clothes and items though, and also a safe for your valuables. The place is close to a lot of bars and restaurants, so much choices to eat at, and mostly at a decent price. It's also close to the beach where most of the island tours depart from.

Place is clean and the bedding are crisp. The pillows are so soft that you could easily fall asleep. Staff are friendly especially the ones in the kitchen. Always smiling and helpful.

My first time visiting Palawan and Sea Cocoon Hotel made my experience great overall. Extremely handy location with the street food market only 20m from doorstep, beach a block away, and walking distance to bustling restaurants and Taraw Cliff canopy walk. The owner of the hotel (forgot his name) is extremely friendly as well as his staff, and his chowchow's are so adorable!! Will definitely stay here again.

This was the actual view from our hotel room. Million dollar view, without paying a million dollars. We were a bit skeptic about this hotel because of the location, but ended up being the perfect location. Very clean, friendly hotel with a great atmosphere. We wish we shared a few more nights. The staff was very friendly and accommodating to our needs. We recommend the Sea Cocoon Hotel with flying colours!
