Mantra Glass Art Review

Worst experience of my life. It's now been 3 months and still don't have the 3 orbs we ordered.

Horrible customer service. Every time I ask for an update, I get an email from somebody named Jessica saying she's sick and it's delayed. 3 months of this!!

I asked for a refund. But now I have 10 days left, so I'm forced to dispute the
charge. This is a hard time for people, and rhe lack of customer service, emparhy, or any kind of business ethic is deplorable.

I regret ever trusting this company!

Went with my mom and we both made jellyfish. It was a fun class and Jessica is an excellent teacher. We are looking forward to doing this again.

I've ordered from Mantra Glass 3 times now and have always been so impressed with the pieces I've received! The hanging planters look amazing on my porch and the terrarium brings life to my living room! Great company!

For someone who has been teaching for 8 years, it's a mystery how Jess remains so kind and patient, but she does, and the class is amazing.

Mantra was incredibly fun! My family had a private class and we created wine and whiskey glasses of all different shapes. Jessica is an excellent teacher with a lot of knowledge about glass blowing, and the history of glass along with multiple other art mediums.

I had memory glass orb's created from my parents combined ashes. My son was recently married and had a memorial table set up that contained photo's of passed loved ones. The orb's turned out amazing! I had one made for myself and each of my siblings and they were moved to tears. Jessica was extremely easy to work with, answered my many questions with timely and effective communication. Beautifully created art work. Thank you from the bottom of my heart Jessica.

The glass made at Mantra is amazing. The quality is incomparable, and the beauty of the pieces often unparalleled. Jessica Schimpf is a wonderful glass blower with an environmentally conscious business that I adore. I always purchase gifts from her. Her prices are more than fair for the quality of the pieces. Schimpf incorporates plant life into many pieces, and the result is perfection! You won't believe the weight and thickness of the glass - no cheap methods here, just straight, environmentally conscious art.

Yesterday I attended a Mantra Glass Art class sponsored by Ford warriors in pink. Jessica is a knowledgeable patient instructor. As a novice I truly appreciated how she guided me through the entire process reassuring me at every step that I could create a piece of glass art. And I did!

I cannot wait to see my family's faces when they open their Christmas presents this year and discover a paperweight designed by me.

Also I was thrilled when I learned that my piece would be shipped directly to my home when it's ready.

And to my surprise Jessica had an extra 30 minutes and took the times to make me one. She brought me to tears with her generosity. I have been a student of Jessica's for over 16 hours, and I am planning another weekend of fun glassblowing! I have learned so much during my time with Jessica! She is patient, calm and brings out the best of the student. She was so encouraging, it pushed me to exceed my expectations of myself.

The passing of a loved one is a very personal thing that affects everyone differently. When my best friend's dog passed away, I wanted her to be able to have something extra special to remember her dog, Lila. I can't think of a better way to do this than one of these memorial glass pieces. Jessica handled everything with care and importance, and Lila's beautiful orb is a gorgeous reminder of a great dog.

Mantra Glass Art provides a seriously unique and custom experience with a passionate edge. Even the simple and beautiful ornaments are hand made with precision. I couldn't personally recommend a better option for any memorial piece or glass art!

Not only is the quality of work there amazing but so are the people! Everyone is so nice and interesting to the point that I stayed for an hour after my class was over. Definitely check them out, it's awesome!

I was connected with Jessica the owner of Mantra when she moved here from Denver. I am soooo happy this universe brought us together!

I got a group of girlfriends together and we signed up for one of her classes. We chose to make wine glasses (there are quite a few classes to choose from). If you're looking for a class to sip wine and chat and doodle, this is not for you. If you're looking for a class to get down and dirty and get your face in a hot kiln and make an amazing piece of art, this is definitely the class for you!

Jessica is great beforehand with arranging payment and letting you know in advance what to wear, etc...(cotton clothes, closed toe shoes and the like). You must get there 15 minutes early to go over and sign waivers. Then the fun begins! Please be on time, there's a lot to do!

Jessica talked about the process which was confusing to all of us since we had never done anything like this before, but it was to be expected. We picked out what types of colors and types of glass we wanted and then got to work.

I chose to go first knowing full well I was the guinea pig, lol! It is an intense process, involving many times at the fire and molding, adding colors, and molding and shaping again. Then you (if you want to, which I did) get to blow air into the glass to make it's shape, and then mold the top and bottom. I'm super simplifying this process, by the way. After all is finished, she puts the glass into a hot box and it sits there for 24 hours. I have not seen my finished product yet, but cannot wait to get it!

One more thing- the first person to go takes the longest (about an hour) as Jessica is explaining the process in detail with that person. After that it's only about 30 minutes per person since everyone knows what's going on. This time frame is for the wine class, not sure about the other classes.

I could go on and on about Jessica. She has been doing this for 8-10 years and one of only a handful of female glass blowers in the United States. She is so informative, encouraging, patient and kind. I cannot wait to do another class with her! Who's going with me?

Jess was great and very instructive! My dad and I had a wonderful time. We spent a couple hours, and I made a glass jellyfish. The best souvenir!

Mantra Glass Art is amazing. I was in search of a hand blown glass pumpkin for my wife as a gift for our wedding anniversary. My wife and I stood and watched hand blown glass pumpkins made years ago in Florida at a studio and were fascinated and we bought our first one together. Our collection is meaningful to our family. This year I really wanted to find something special and not some mass produced replica. My search led me to Mantra Glass Art. I called called Jessica on a Friday and she made a beautiful pumpkin for me within days. I knew it was a long shot to get the pumpkin in time for our anniversary but Jessica came through. It shipped from Denver to Ohio in perfect condition and was stunning! Thank you Jessica for your love of the art and making this year particularly special. A class act and I would highly recommend Mantra Glass Art.
