Unfortunate for the men of this world that this statue was ever hewed from marble... Now they will be compared to to him and found lacking... We need more realistic statues, less muscle, more chest hair; bald spot.

Wonderful. Absolutely amazing!!!!! Finally reopened after lockdown. Access only by appointment at 8 Euros + 4 pre-sale through the internet. The number of accesses allows you to enjoy the works as never before. Now is the right time to enjoy and take ownership of our artistic heritage. We owe it and we enjoy.

Terrific, but for a long time I had to stand in the street in line. The ticket costs 8 euros. You can take a guide, but in principle, all this information is quite available on the Internet. By the way, the violin of the Stradivarius in the same place

When you enter the Accademia Gallery, although you already know what you're going to, I think that the feeling you have when you walk down the hall and finally get David in front of you doesn't wait for you. She is a sculptor so majestic and so perfect that she perplexes you. Undoubtedly it is well worth the queues to wait as in my case, I had to do it in the month of August.

Admission was 16 . For this one sees the David and some unfinished works of Michelangelo. There are also some rooms with mainly religious artwork by contemporaries Michaelangelo. I had expected more from this artist and was a bit disappointed.

David, one of the great works of the Renaissance artist Michelangelo. Portraying the biblical character, 5,17 meters in height, perfection in detail carved in marble, work of 1504, exciting to know this wonderful work. The details in the sculpture are perfect, very close to reality.

Awesome but very hot (I mean the temperature). TIP: If you don't want to go through the queue, you can always buy the entrance in front of the Museum (or online) for the time you prefer (it closes at 17).

Although different stone carvings were seen in the urban area, it was different to see that David felt different. The collection includes the world's oldest high-pitched violin, the world's first piano, and painting and engraving rooms, which are worth a look.

Go late in the day. Get a reservation Via phone from the museum (not one of the many confusingly named services/websites!). Phone numbers and times to phone should still be on the official website. June 2018 I think the phone times were in the morning till something like 9:30? And at the end of the day starting at like 5? Spend some time. Soak it in

Awesome!!! The hands were what I liked the most. The bad thing is that people spoke very loudly and although they were told to shut up, they seemed to care. People's obsession with looking at the mobile screen also seemed like something to make us look at it ... Do not stop visiting it.

Ensure you purchase tickets about a week in advance to buy them directly off the website and not from a second source at an inflated price. We looked the day before we wished to go, and it was sold out for the whole week. However, we paid about 10 extra to go via a skip the line route and that was better for us as we didn't want to be in the huge queue.

Because there are all the plaster casts, to then become a work of art, then see all the paintings of the great Florentine and Fiesolan sculptors and painters, in short, if you like art, you can't miss going to the academy museum!

AWESOME, this work by Michelangelo located in the Accademia Gallery, Florence Italy, is the sculpture of the sculptures, its size, its realism and all its details far exceed any expectation of it. The museum, meanwhile, small but rich in works and information. Excellent.
