Very nice museum although with few main attractions
To recommend to everyone

Excellent sculpture - just a stones throw from the city centre.

Breathtaking. It was a great exibition because the gallery itself is small so it's not overwhelming and you can take your time and really enjoy the exhibits.

Worth the visit, we bought the audio guide would recommend people to do this, as made the experience more meaningful

The David is impressive, and presented with the right lighting is a unique emotion.

Brilliant. The long is quite long though, so book your ticket in advance. Also recommend listening to Rick Steves' audio guide.

A bit pricey, lots of paintings and busts / sculptures are the magnificent David. To do once

David was nice. Not very talkative though and liked exposing himself despite requests to dress appropriately. He had big hands if you know what I mean.

A fascinating, impossible magnet stop looking at him. Captivates every detail. Visit Florence and not see the David is not having visited the city. Among so wonderful, it is in my opinion, the most impressive.

The marble sculpture par excellence, Michelangelo is an absolute master, if you visit Florence you cannot not go and see it live.

I didn't think it was so impressive and practically perfect ... You see it suddenly. There is a door that opens onto a corridor that develops transversely, and as you enter it, this huge and magnificent sculpture appears at the back of the room, perfectly positioned and illuminated. The part that struck me most was the size. I knew the measurements, but when you find it in front of you, you are necessarily speechless

I had wanted to see him for years. A long line of waiting is worth it. Paid 8 euros while my university daughter 2 euros. Wonderful masterpieces and excellent surveillance in this covid period. (September 2020).

Must see if in Florence. The entire gallery was worth visiting although slightly shorter than expected. Reserve your ticket as the queue outside can range over an hour depending on the time you arrive. We were able to walk straight in during our reservation time, but pay a small premium to book online. Worth it if you have an itinerary to follow and don't wish to wait long in queue.

David is a Renaissance sculpture by Michelangelo Buonarroti from 1501-1504. It depicts the biblical David just before the battle with Goliath; Michelangelo perfectly portrayed the proportions of the human body, and at present, this work is referred to as one of the best sculptural depictions of a male body in the Renaissance style. The statue is made of marble and weighs approximately 6 tons.

It was incredibly detailed. Easy to see why it is regarded as the best sculpture ever.

David False is in the square 10 minutes from the gallery. Personally, if the motivation to come in is to see the original David, you don't have to.

It is worth seeing. Impress the detail of the sculpture, its more than 5 meters is a delight

The museum is very small, just the statue of David and that's about it. Impressive to see, but don't assume that you will be inside for more than 15 minutes

Just to contemplate the grandeur of this work, it is worth the visit to Florence.

Not easy to find because parallel to the square but as you enter you are open-mouthed all the time! Kind staff

Crowded, I highly recommend booking to avoid long waits ...

Best tip I can give to see this one is to reserve tickets in advance. The line can easily take 40 minutes to an hour in the sun, but if you have a reservation the line is shorter. Totally worth the visit! It's a small place, but wonderful.

The best of I saw in Europe when it comes to art. I run louvre in paris and run the academy in firenzi and I tell u...nothing compares to David/Davi. Michelangelo is thr best...and I am a big fan o Leo.

Definitely worth the wait. The staff is slightly rude, but overall recommended and should book online ahead to avoid the queue.

Awesome. If you pass through Florence, it is essential to visit Michelangelo's David.

Huge crowds just make a reservation at the ticket office for 16 per person ( 12 entry + 4 reservation)

Once in a lifetime opportunity to see such an exquisite piece of art and history. 8 Euros plus other sculptures and artwork.
